There's also a vast array of sauces, seasonings, local beers, Florida chips and snacks to put on a party fit for any grill enthusiast. I grabbed 2 containers of "Smash Taters" (take-n-bakes are buy 1, get 1 on Tues and Wed), a half-pound of the Korean Bulgogi Steak Tips, and a Bacon Cheddar Burger Patty to cook up for dinner tonight. Not only do they have a great grocery selection, but they also have a fantastic meat department and I am quite impressed with the hot dog brands they have here. I also picked up some pierogies, ajvar and a few other European treats. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and professional and only enhanced my overall experience. The store is just off the main road and would be real easy to never notice. I will say that if you never notice it or just never stopped, that would truly be your loss. Amar European Grocery Store also has another location on Philips Highway that is just as wonderful. I cannot give this business enough praise and I will give it five stars for my overall experience. If you are in the Jacksonville, Florida area and are looking for a European grocer or just want to expand your culinary adventures a bit, I would definitely recommend heading to either of these two locations.
