Shoutout to our local community heroes! I really appreciate the kind lady that helped me find almost all of my items. This was only my second visit to this store and I remember how diverse the products are. But that is exactly the reason that I loved my first visit here. I can find so many cultural items that I love like Asian, Korean, Mexican, Caribbean, and more. Everything is organized in a specific fashion that kinda keeps certain foods together and also certain ethnicity together. I had to ask help from a staff lady to find specific items from all this variety. She was kind, knowledgeable, and personable. Some things she could masterfully tell me the direct aisle and spot. But when it came to Carnation brand evaporated milk, she walked me over to the spot. She informed me that the brand had changed its label and that several people were having trouble finding it. She was a treasure, because I would have probably never found it on my own. The produce is of good quality and the store is bright, well stocked, and clean. I like the overhead music. The deli is really cool! Fresh flowers are available. Lots of variety of baked goods. I also noted that the patrons seem very happy and calm. The cashiers are very polite, cheerful, and efficient. I look forward to seeing what treasures await me on my next visit.

We got some packages tomatoes from rowe's today and when I opened up the package, one of the tomatoes had already gone bad and was slimey . Of course they hid the blemish in the bottom.

Best ethnic grocery store ever! They have so many options and sections to choose from. They have a ton of cool food stations like a popcorn bar, a fresh organic peanut butter bar, bakery, hot food plates for lunch, cold cuts section, butcher and seafood section. They sell a ton of fruits and vegetables that are large and look juicy. The fish smelled fresh. And the meat look phenomenal with a ton of options and amazing g prices to choose from. The lunch prepared food has a lot of Hispanic ethic options to choose from like chicken, pork (pernil), rice, beans, arroz moro/ congri, tostones, fried yucca, plantains (maduros) and etc. The lunch boxes are like $5.99 which consists of 1 meat and 2 sides. The aisles are divided into a ton of ethnicities, they have an area that has ethnic hispanic foods but even breaks it down by Colombian, Venezuelan, Peruvian and etc. They have an aisle that has Caribbean food (Jamaican) and even sell some Eastern European style foods from Bulgaria, Russia and Germany. They also have two aisles dedicated to Asian cuisine as well. I highly recommend. My family and I bought some desserts like tres leches and flan and it was absolutely amazing. Enjoy!

Oh my new favorite grocery store!!

5 Stars all the way!!! I had never been into a Rowe's grocery store before because there weren't any close to me, but when I saw Jay and Marllie's pics and review I knew I wanted to go in and check it out and I'm so happy I did! Omg! Walking in it's beautiful! All new clean and laid out neatly! You walk in the their floral department with all the pretty flowers then right into the bakery, they make breads and cakes in house! And I love love love they offer more then the typical offerings, unique desserts!! We had to try the house made tres leches ( delicious!) Next is their deli with hot bar and prepared foods! Love this section you can walk in and get a hot meal for like $6! Pizza, subs, sushi, fried chicken all kinda foods ready for eatin! Their meat department is HUGE! Tons of meats, and some were already seasoned or marinated so you just take home and cook! House made sausages! Big produce department too, tons of fruits and veggies and they have some harder to find ones! Another thing is they have a big frozen section with all kinda fun things! Ethnic foods everywhere for anyone who enjoys trying new things this is the place! I could have strolled and shopped for a few hours! We got a bunch of new fun things to try and prices were great! So happy they opened this one on Baymeadows Rd! Go check it out!

Brand new Rowes Supermarket that I am excited to finally open primarily because it cuts my travel time down by miles compared to the other Rowes location that I frequent. Additionally, who wouldn't want to shop at a new, clean, nicely updated store? Great selection and reasonable pricing. Rowes is one of my go-to supermarkets primarily because they carry multi-ethnic grocery items compared to what you will see in other supermarkets. They carry hard to find international items from South America, Mexico, the Caribbeans, the Middle East and Eastern Europe, as well as American stapled items, which makes my shopping so much easier. They also carry nicely priced meats. I love simple recipes and Rowes carries easy one-step marinades I use often for my Air Fryer and Grill. So happy they are finally open.

Love going to Rowe's! Not only do I get to buy all the Asian ingredients that are hard to find but they also have the best Pistachio Muffins! And....they are very affordable too! 4 pieces for only $3.99! Yes please! We also tried their fried chicken, sadly it was coated with too much batter. Also bought cooked shrimps and they were good! Their ice cream selections are amazing! We have tried the Ube Macapuno (our favorite), Avocado (not a fan) and Pistachio Walnut. We want to try other flavors on our next visit such as the Fruit Salad and Queso. Can't wait! So even though Baymeadows is quite far from our place, it's worth the drive. We will definitely be back again and again and again! Lol!

Around the world within a grocery store! I was sad when this grocery location was abandoned- so to see it revitalized and with such a diverse grocery store is wonderful! I've been to the Rowes on Beach Blvd- thanks to my son- his recruiter office was in the same complex. So this is not my first time in Rowe's- but this store is shiny and brand new and enlisted lots of ooohhh and ahhh's and LOOK AT THAT! With no real need to go to the grocery store- other than to walk off dinner and check it out, I asked an employee gathering cart in the parking lot- how late are you open? 10 pm! Yay- because it was after 8pm already. An hour later- mind you, I said we had no real reason to grocery shop- we had 6 bags of the most random groceries. I had a full stop just inside the store with the absolutely wonderful floral products! John had to pull me away to show off the popcorn section and he grabbed the oreo popcorn to try. Then the bakery- I love the cornbread from here, and John grabbed that too. I will be back to explore the produce- but I couldn't be pried away from bakery-to wine- to seafood succession... I love fruit, but that corner of the store is just evil! Low priced meats! Again- I didn't grab anything, but John picked up chicken tenders to throw in the cart. I was too busy looking at all the spices and drinks. I seriously grabbed 7 different drinks, and only one do I know what I am getting into- the aloe drink. All the others are from who knows where, but I love trying new things! All fruity. John found oddball cookies- of course. I briefly hoped for something different in the cereal aisle- but that was normal American sugar filled boxes. Can of Keebler crackers- check... coconut oil- check.... random snacks- check! No need to grocery shop = $40+ spent.... yeah, I am officially old because I was excited to go to a new grocery store!

Excellent addition to the Southside area. New and super clean supermarket. They offer a wonderful variety of fresh produce, their meat and seafood department was very well stocked and spotless. I love the Latin and Asian food selection, I am very impressed! Finally great customer service and pricing, definitely will be coming back to get some of my favorite foods and spices. Highly recommended, keep up the good work!

Our first time at a Rowe's IGA. So very excited to be here. New store. Happy FriYaY to you and your love ones.

We truly enjoyed visiting Rowe's IGA supermarket on this hot Friday afternoon. Nice, clean, organized and brand-new. The layout is modern and spacious. I have to admit we have never been to any of the Rowe's IGA supermarkets after 15 years of residing here in Jacksonville. This was our first time here today. We found so many items in each aisle. To be honest, I usually don't spend a long time at grocery stores as most of the time I know beforehand what to get and go. Well not so today....OMG it was like "Black Friday" excitement for me--so many great deals that I had to look again just to make sure I read that correctly. There is definitely plenty to pick from and compare with other brands. I posted numerous photos to share of what sparked joy to me this afternoon. Lol. We came here at 3:00, very good timing and not overly crowded. Each aisle is extremely clean and marked properly to let you know where to find those items on your list. The checkout lanes were organized as well. There were tape markings on the ground to stand 6 ft apart. This is nice to have close by as most of the time my husband and I drive all over town for many of the international goods we can't find at our local grocery store such as snacks, spices, seasonings, vegetables, frozen goods and novelty desserts. Prices are reasonable here too! Some items are cheaper in my opinion compared to other places. I like that they are open til 10:00 p.m. I know exactly where to go next time when my mom and dad/in-laws and siblings from Charleston and Atlanta come to visit us. They always insist to cook many of their Filipino dishes such as pancit bihon, kare-kare, chicken and pork adobo, longanisa, tocino, Pinakbet, lumpia, cassava cake, and halo halo to name a few. This supermarket has all the items and seasonings we will need to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner when they are in town. The manager at the front was very kind. I told her we will be back for sure as she asked us how was our experience. Definitely recommend! You will have a fun adventure like we did on this Friday afternoon. There truly is something here for everyone.

Yes.... your local supermarket plus international aisles of Southeast Asian, Spanish, European groceries under one roof. A popcorn corner, a deli, pizzeria and a delicious patisserie bakery. What more can you ask for? Location- Where Winn-Dixie used to be in Baymeadows. 9866 Old Baymeadows Road. Inside- clean, organized and huge. This supermarket is spacious and all the aisles were labeled. I saw European cookies, sauces seasonings and even beauty products. The music was cool, I felt the urge of doing cha -cha since the music playing was Spanish. I saw long sugar cane sticks, Spanish seasonings, products, beauty items, frozen empanadas. Even the bakery had flan desserts. Some Spanish influence. The Caribbean and Asian section had an array of sauces, cookies, snacks, lumpia egg rolls though we make them at home, and even beauty products. There is so much to see I can't review it all because it will take forever. Everything you need and more is here. Go international here!

Soooo ... we have been here about a handful of times since they opened (only b/c I shop for a week at a time) .... But Listeb Linda! ..... Feast your eyes on the hot food bar choice for today below in the pics! For 40.00 I bought my family of 5 dinner tonight, lunch tomorrow, and will create some yum carnita flautas on my day off this week!!! I will try and post pics of my food finds when I go, but every single time I've been here .... It's always with a grateful smile and a warm welcome! Hope they stay here.... kinda reminds me of Compare foods back in Charlotte, NC.

Love this place! If you come here expecting them to bag your groceries or to have them walk out your groceries to the car for you then please just turn around and go to Publix. If you come here expecting amazing prices and variety then come on down!!! The deli food was soo good! I swear the $6.99 box had atleast 2-3 pounds of food in it. It was so heavy and it was delicious! The bakery area had so much to choose that it was hard for me to pick. They had fresh popcorn popping, they have quesitos, guava & guava and cheese pastries, they had cookies, doughnuts they even had fairly priced cakes. Seriously, they even had a Rainbow bagels! Their produce was fresh and really great priced The meat and seafood section was also really good too. Ribeye steaks for $5.99/pound? Yes please! Pre-seasoned meat that makes it less stress for me? Yes! The aisles of goodness were so amazing, you got Mexican, Colombian, Cuban, Jamaican and Asian and European foods that will surely fit your needs! The laundry and cleaning aisle took me straight back to the grocery stores in Mexico. They have a certain smell that you can't get in publix or Winn Dixie and somehow this store took me straight outta the country. Their dairy and cheese sections have everything. The store was clean and well maintained. Everything was well stocked and I was a very happy shopper. As far as some of the other complaints some other People have, I'm not even mad. Let's be honest, everywhere you go people wear their masks wrong, no big deal. Just correct them and move along. The plexi glass thing it's even that serious because if you're wearing your mask and sanitizing/washing your hands, then that's all that matters. And the tap to pay worked just fine for me. I didn't even have to touch the keypad. Maybe user error or credit card settings? ‍ Either way, I love this place and I will definitely go out of my way to come here.
