I've been with Tina now for the last 10 years, getting pedicures and acrylic nails. Tina is absolutely great. All of the Technicians are courteous and very friendly. First things first, the shop was gross. The stations were caked up with dry acrylic chunks and dirt, and the floor looked moldy. The ventilation was terrible so I got a headache from the stench of all the chemicals. I tend to go to T&C nails in Manassas mall but came here instead because of how much less they charge for pink and white acrylic nails. T&C charges $55 whereas this salon (supposedly) charges $40. Tony (my manicurist for this visit) charged me $45 for adding a clear gel topcoat which I did NOT ask for. I gave him a very specific photo of what I wanted which he did not produce. The nails still came out nicely, they just didn't come out the way I wanted them to. He also didn't follow the typical process for producing acyrilic nails. I get them done biweekly but this is the first time I haven't been asked to wash my hands at any time during the process, or in which my cuticles were not tended to. He hurt me a lot when he was separating my fingers from the acrylic beneath my nails. He didn't clean it up at all so I had to do that on my own. The only reason I'm giving two stars rather than one is because my nails still came out nicely. Long story short, the service and shop were not up to par and I won't be returning. read more

This is why I continue to come back time after time: -You don't need an appointment and I rarely wait to be helped -Most of the technicians do an amazing job ( I prefer Lisa w the glasses!) - They have the best prices in the area and you get great service in return Personally, I do not care about being oohed and aahed by brand new desks/floors/ chairs. Yea the salon is older and everything is not brand new but I'll take a little outdated for the price and service I get! Other salons In the area have beautiful interior design but the technicians are mean the prices are outrageous. My daughter went to fresh nails and by the way she got there 10 min early than my mom and her sister. She came home frustrated and furious to say that she was attended last and they had her feet soaking for so long that her skin was wrinkled by the time they attended her. I stopped by Fresh Nails today on my break for a full set. I was greeted by a technician and was immediately taken care of. The woman was friendly, clarified exactly what service I wanted, and made pleasant small talk throughout the time I was there. The place wasn't too busy at 2pm on a Monday, but people were coming in and out. I usually take it as a good sign when the salon's not completely empty. The price was $25 for the full set plus $5 for polish. She threw in a simple design for free, I think because it was my first time at that salon. Would definitely return for a refill or pedicure =] Wish I had gotten my technician's name to request her. read more

So I usually come here for pedicures and I always had a good experience when I went. Last time I went , I got a gel manicure for the first time. The lady I got was really quick but I feel like she rushed it because my nails started to smudge once I got home... That never happens with gel so I knew that my gel manicure was done incorrectly. I came back the next day to see if they can fix it for me. They fixed it ... Sort of.... But they also charged me again!!!! So I give it a 2 stars because I had to pay twice for a crappy gel manicure. Pedicures are good but I rather go somewhere else where they actually TRY to make my nails last and look good. read more

The Pedicure was AH-MAZING. The man was so gentle and had no issue painting my nails. They're beautiful and haven't chipped once. The fake nails though.. the lady was rough, rude, and slow. I went in last Saturday for a pedicure and gel manicure. The pedicure was good and they do a paraffin wax dip for your feet. Sounds great but then you realize it's something everyone else uses so I'm not are how clean that is. The gel manicure seemed like it wasnt done correctly and low and behold my polish started chipping in 3 days. The biggest turn off was just a general lack of cleanness. The pedicure chairs were ripped up, the nail stations had not been cleaned in forever, they just toss laundry on the floor until its time to take it to the washing machine, and it just didn't have that "spa atmosphere" that you hope for at a salon. So let me tell you my experience. I walked in to work with Joanne. First she had an attitude complaining how to take all the diamonds off my nail and that she doesn't know how. Then she starts taking my old set off in a way that each nail felt like fire. I told her it burns but she ignored and keeps working on them. I had one broken nail that I told her it hurts and to be careful with it. She says "I do nails I know what I'm doing" in an attitude. So I turned around to my friend and told her that this is rude. And I called a friend on FaceTime so I won't pay much attention to Joanne's attitude. Soooooo she tells me I can't speak my language in there. HOWEVER she's been speaking her language talking about me ever since she started working on my nails. I asked for someone else to do my nails, Joanne says "no one will do your nails and I won't do them" I told her it's her job to do my nails, then Got up to leave. She started cussing me out and yelling. VERY disrespectful. I wish there's an owner who would see how their employees cuss customers out even though we pay them to do what WE WANT. read more

I don't normally write reviews but this one I need to. I used to go here years ago and popped in the other day. The salon is FILTHY. Dust on things, chairs ripped, awful. Not inviting at all. They need a remodel or at least a deep cleaning. There was a place up by where you dry your nails that you could write your name in in the dust growing.The ladies never talked to me and carried on conversations loudly to each other in their language the entire time. No customer service skills at all. Could not wait to get out and not very "spa like" at all. I was uncomfortable the whole time I was there. I had asked for eye waxing and almost cancelled it but went through with it. Once again no communication, Room was freezing cold and filthy as well. Not returning. I went in for the first time today and was greeted very nicely the lady helped me pick a color and started immediately. I told her I wanted a full set. When I told her I wanted long nails she cut them showed me and continued, didn't give me time to make sure it was the length I wanted. She rushed through the entire process and was more concerned about what was on her phone and talking to the other ladies than she was of me. At some points she wasn't even looking at my nails while she was working on them. I found this to be unprofessional and dangerous. When she snagged a nail and I pulled away because it hurt, she didn't seem like she cared that she hurt me, She just continued with her conversation. She stopped what she was doing to look at her phone many times. The place was also a little dirty. There was nail dust piled on the corner of the desk. I will never go to this place again. The prices were fair and my nails look decent but the service was horrible. read more
