I am writing to express how bad my experience was at Salon and Day Spa - Manassas. I decided to have scalp micropigmentation (SMP) here based on what I read about Goma and her assurances that she was trained and experienced in applying SMP. Goma lied to me and did not know what she was doing and delivered terrible SMP results. I should have known to walk out when I watched her spill the ink on the counter and try to pick it back up off the counter for continued use. This was surely a health code violation. Additionally, I saw she was using normal tattoo ink instead of ink designed for SMP but again I trusted she knew what she was doing. Goma's work was terrible - she inserted the ink too deep which resulted in large blue dots and she failed to distribute the ink evenly. I expressed concern immediately and she stated it was "normal" which really indicated she didn't know what she was doing or was dishonest. Goma stated she would fix her mistakes since she had a tattoo removal laser. She completed two laser sessions to remove her work which did not work. I then asked for a refund of my money and she gave me 50% back and stated she would continue to treat the SMP with her laser. I attempted to schedule a third session and she now stated there was fee. Goma wanted to be paid to correct the mistakes she made. I told her that was insane to ask me to pay to fix her mistakes and she stated I was threatening her. Bottom line is that Goma is incompetent at SMP and laser tattoo removal and dishonest in that she failed to follow through with her commitment to correct her mistakes. This was an expensive and embarrassing experience doing business at this Salon and I would encourage others to learn from my experience. This is my 2nd time posting this review as Goma must have gotten Yelp to remove my previous submission. Truth hurts! read more

First time at Salon & Day Spa yesterday ( 8-27-22) . Love, Love, Love the service provided by Goma, Cindy and Puspa! Believe or not I was there from 12:30 to 5:30PM. I had my hair colored, highlight, wash, trim and blow dry ( all back to my black roots and a touch of purple) and oil treatment with Goma, Cindy and Puspa. It took at least 2 1/2 hours. It came out beautiful!!!! After that I had the microblading done wish took at least an hour and then my lash extension with Cindy! Everyone was professional and awesome! They made me feel so comfortable. It was a little expensive for me but worth all the time and money. It was full day service. I was a new and approve person coming out of the salon. :) I will return for some more treatment. I highly recommend Salon & Day Spa. You will not be disappointed I promise!! I like the ladies here. They are nice. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but I am a firm believer that some places with just the basics put more love in their work. They could do a better job with cleanliness but my facial was everything I needed. My pores look amazing and it was well worth the price. After my horrible experience at Bella's Beauty Salon in Manassas, I needed somewhere to get my eyebrows done the day before my wedding (I know, terrible idea but I kept putting it off) I was desperate and looking for any place, I happened into this shopping center and saw their sign. I walked in and ask for an eyebrow wax. There were only two employees and both had customers. But one of the ladies stepped up and told me to have a seat right there in a haircut chair. She pointed to a chart and asked which eyebrow look I wanted. There were about 10 choices and my God, what a genius concept! The wax was not as hot as I'm used to and therefore she struggled to spread it a bit. But she was quick and my brows looked exactly how I wanted them. Best part? Only $7!! I've been trying find find a good place since I moved here. And I think I finally found it. I almost don't want to tell people, because then price might go up. I got my pits & full legs waxed for $55! (Unheard of, IMO) And she did a *thorough* job. (And I am a furiously furry individual, she went from the bikini line & to my toes. And didn't miss a single hair!) This is Manassas' best kept secret. After reading the reviews I stopped by this afternoon for a haircut for me and my daughter. We both loved our cut, it's exactly what we asked for. I really appreciated that they checked with both of us on how much to cut. One time I asked for a trim for my daughter (not here of course) and it definitely wasn't a trim and she left crying needless to say. We are super happy with haircut. While waiting, I got my eyebrows taken care of and let me just say I will definitely be back! I can't remember the name of the lady who took care of me, but she was very detailed, super nice and listened to my concerned areas. My eyebrows look flawless. This is one of the worst salon that I have been. The employees are inexperience. I used to go there for eyebrow threading. Each time I told them that I have sensitive skin. Even though I told this each time I had so many cuts. So I stopped going there. I went there today to do it. I called and made an appointment. They did not tell me that when I made an appointment. Got a gift certificate and went. I waited over a week so I could do the couples massage. They took us into separate rooms which is not a couples massage. I got the facial/ massage pkg. I've never has anyone massage my nose for so long. They never asked any personal questions like what were my problem areas like professional places do. The lady doing my massage was texting during it and I had to listen to her phone constantly going off. She left the room like 4 or 5 times. The massage was done with only her palms and barely did feet or shoulders except when she pinched my shoulders so hard at the end that she bruised my skin. The women who was supposed to be giving me a relaxing massage and acne treatment was very unprofessional and kept bad mouthing some of the staff as well as bossing me. Ontop of all that, she pressed so hard that left shoulder and have been so sore, I haven't been able to sit, turn my head, or even bend over. After that, she ask extra money for massage, but she didn't told me massage service is extra, after I tell her I'm not gonna pay the massage because she didn't told me, she started got into bad discussion with me. This is a charming new spot run by 2 lovely ladies. Absolutely no wait. Which is Awesome . My daughter got her eyebrows done quickly and expertly. I love they had a template up to chose your eyebrow style. I always wonder if the beautician knows what my idea of thin is and I have been disappointed in the past but the template really is a great way to communicate what you want.
