My family has been going to this store since they opened. The people are friendly and they have good produce but in all honesty it's the location that we love. They are very close to home. Today however they upset me so much I have decided not to return! I worked out around 8 and got to Fresh Thyme about 9:30 . The lady behind the counter was doing something and I asked what time the deli opened. The sign said they were closed! You would have thought I asked her for her wallet! If looks could kill I would be pushing up daisies! She then said. What can I get you? I said my wife likes the oven roast rotisserie. Again, the look! Then she said they don't offer it anymore. Oh, sorry. Now I have to pick something I think my wife will like. I made the selection and said I have to have it shaved. She noticeably looked at me with disgust! I looked at her and said never mind. I went over to the meat counter and it was closed! I looked at a lady in the next aisle and said these people need to figure out how to get out of bed in the morning! She looked at me and said isn't someone back there? I thought if they were back there would the entire meat counter be covered up. Enough! I said. I'm over trying to be a good customer! Fresh Thyme is my go-to grocery store. They have a digital app where you can look at the weekly ad and add digital coupons tied to your phone number or scan ID. They also have a water filling station in the front of the store. I bring my gallons here to refill and I never have to wait. In the store too, I've only been here in the weekdays, and it's never busy. They have fresh produce and as a vegetarian I appreciate their vegetarian and vegan food options in the refrigerated and frozen section of the store. The employees are friendly and fast at the checkout line. And ample parking too! read more

'It happens'. Decent store with a good inventory but poor customer service. Wife recently shopped here and was charged double by the cashier, Michael, for vitamins for which she used a coupon. Returning to the store with receipt to correct this issue, not a single word of apology for this discrepancy, only a declaration of 'it happens' by the manager. Came in tonight specifically for the $5 sushi special. The entire bottom shelf was brightly labeled with $5 sale signs. So without thinking too much I grabbed 2 of the same kind from the bottom shelf. As I'm paying I see that my total is way more than it should be. The 2 I got were full price, $10. The clerk goes to check and says no they're full price. I ask why, I got them from the bottom shelf, she just insists no they're not $5. I say that perhaps they should be careful and not put regular price ones on the bottom shelf , that has nothing but sale sushi. To which she doesn't say sorry for the confusion or would you like to make a return or anything... simply says they're "clearly labeled" and they're not on sale. Thanks for the great service! Salmon - Caution It appears, based upon our recent purchase, that Fresh Thyme is selling salmon that has been treated with dye. Having prepared and cooked salmon dozens of times it became readily apparent. After unwrapping the fish and blotting it with paper towels, I could not help but notice that the white towels had turned bright orangish-pink. I did reach out to Fresh Thyme and while they offered their apologies, the did not deny that the fish had been altered. Disappointing to say the least, frightening to be more realistic. Me and my husband shop here often and love it. However, we dread asking the staff for assistance because they always seem somewhat annoyed that we are speaking to them. They are very short with words and not friendly. My husband stopped by a few days ago around 8:15pm and they do close at 9pm. Around 8:30pm they got on the loud speaker to announce they would be closing in 30mins which many stores do. But again, they seemed bothered by him shopping 45mins before close. He was out by 8:45pm so it's not like he waited until the very last minute to checkout. I could understand their frustration if he came in at 8:50pm and was still shopping after the store closed but that did not happen. It's unprofessional and a bit intimidating to act like a customer is an inconvenience because they are shopping for groceries 45mins prior to closing. I'm not sure if we will be back to the Fishers location because of this. read more

The family and I attended the grand opening of the new Fresh Thyme in Fishers last night. We were really impressed with the store. My wife has long been a Fresh Thyme shopper but had to travel a little further to get to one of the other locations. We're really happy to see one a little closer to us. Fresh Thyme is one of several major chains that have come up in the last few years offering grocery options that are centered on fresh, organic, and high-quality ingredients. This location is just opening this week. It was very well stocked and pretty sizable for a "health food" store. There were a lot of samples on offer and I tried the sushi rolls made fresh at the deli counter, a ready to go club sandwich that can also be purchased from the deli counter, a great piece of pizza that's available as take n' bake, and a Boar's Head sandwich. All the food offered was fantastic. There were also samples of their fresh squeezed on the site orange juice, which is available for purchase as well as several other juices. If you like juice that really tastes like fruit and veggies, this is definitely for you. I can't remember the last time I had orange juice that good. All the staff was on hand for the big event and everyone seemed very friendly and helpful. Despite the large-ish crowd, staff members were calm and ready to help. The checkout process was quick and hassle free. I really can't find much of anything bad to say about this store. From past experience with other Fresh Thymes, I can say the prices are often higher than usual on items that aren't on sale. However, if you grab their ads and check the sales and coupons, they often have some really good deals that beat even more conventional grocery stores on similar products. They're definitely worth checking out if you have an interest. read more

Fresh Thyme is my favorite health food/needs store! I recently switched from Earth Fare which is much closer to my house. I drive out of my way an extra 3 miles because it's worth it! First of all, the meats are fresh and they have a wonderful selection. There's a young man I that department (wears glasses) named Nick. He is always so friendly and accommodating. His demeanor is just naturally pleasant. I'm one of those customers that ask multiple questions, can be indecisive or want what's in the back and he always has a smile on his face. I know he would go out of his way to make sure I'm happy with my purchase. Kudos to this young man! Also, Jon in produce remembers me as a regular and assists me in choosing the freshest produce. This is my go to quick grocery stop. I really like Fresh Thyme as a chain and I like this location a lot. The people who work here are very nice and helpful. The food is high quality. They carry brands that I trust; Boars Head meats and cheeses, Alexa frozen potato products, Skinny Girl organic greens, fage yogurt. They also carry a store brand which has proved itself to me, consistent good quality on spice packets, tortilla chips, potato chips, bakery goods and their olive bar. And the store is a great size, big enough to have a full produce department and most everything I need but small enough to make a 10 minute stop for just a few things. They carry in store ground honey roasted peanut butter which is amazing. And Albanese Candy Co. Gummy bears (which are the best; great flavor, soft chew) and other candies in the bulk section. That means you can buy just the amount that you want/need for a few days. (They taste the best fresh and I only trust myself with a serving because I eat until their gone ). I mentioned the bakery briefly but want to be sure that I say, they carry two serving size slices of cake (varies by day; lemon, strawberry, chocolate, tiramisu) near the deli which is so good!!!! I gave Fresh Thyme a five star rating, because Fresh thyme is an amazing place to go grocery shopping. The low prices and the always fresh food has convinced me to shop here often. When ever I go there they always have the things that I need to get whether that is to get marshmallows, and gram crackers for s'mores, or to get fruit and vegetables for dinner and snacks. Fresh thyme also has a larger selection of specialty foods for people that have food allergies and or are on a diet. Sometimes I can't find certain items and they always go out of their way to help me. I appreciate that! I look at their weekly savings constantly. On Wednesday's you get double savings, meaning you get the past week savings and the current weeks too. I love all of their soups and I've wanted to try their salads too. This is probably my favorite market in Indy. We got stuck on Raleys in California because of the great prices and almost all organic clean foods. I never thought anyone could compete but Fresh Thyme is right up there with the best. The fact they sell almost all organic and even a lot of vegan products at such great prices won us over on our first visit. We got the sweetest, tastiest, reddest strawberries for $2.00 a package! They have to be local to be so fresh and good. We left with a full cart of groceries and spent $130.00! We ate the best, most tender steak with brussel sprouts the other night for dinner and the hubby said it was the best steak he ever had!!! We had BLT's (tomatoes from my garden) today and the Fresh Thyme thick cut apple wood bacon was soooo good! We even recieved a $5.00 of our next $40.00 purchase so we are heading back tomorrow to shop again. If we would have bought groceries at our local market the lunch meat and bacon would have went bad by now on the fridge but not when they are from Fresh Thyme! They even have an app for your phone with coupons and you can also make your shopping list on their app complete with cost! They have kiddie carts and samples of lost of their goodies!!! Fresh ground Honey Roasted Peanut Butter was my fave! I even opted for a vegan eyeshadow palette and it is the best palette I've found! Wow! Always receive superb service from Nick in the meat department. I have watched him handle very difficult customers on various occasions with courtesy and a smile. I wanted to punch them for how obnoxious they were but he was amazing. He is the reason I come here. I was shocked to learn he is not the manager. We have been to this location a couple of times now as we are trying to eat cleaner and healthier. The produce from Fresh Thyme lasts much longer than what we've gotten at a big box store or Kroger. VERY impressed with their produce selection. Most of the prices are reasonable. You can get fresh squeezed OJ here and some great cuts of meat. Some of the prices (yogurt, of all things) is off the charts. We purchased some deli turkey and the sign indicated it was on sale. When it rang up, it was not. The sign was from the previous week and had not been removed. The right thing would have been for them to honor the price, but they did not. Not a big deal really, but they should be aware of it. The prices are on the higher side, but I feel like it's due to convenience and all of the health foods (organic, gluten free, lactose free, etc). It's a wonder why this store gets high reviews. I went today because I got a $10 coupon in the mail. They were out of scallops at noon on a Saturday. I asked if there were some in the back and the answer was no. The produce looked like crap. I picked up too many squishy tomatoes, limp weak herbs, and saw a lot of produce overall that was subpar and had no business being on the shelf. The meat department lacked selection and had some off colored pork on the shelf. My daughter asked to use the bathroom and when we walked in she asked, "daddy, what's that weird smell?" The bathroom smelled like my freshman dorm bathroom on a Sunday morning. Needless to say, I won't be back at this store. Save some money and get better quality at Kroger down the street. read more
