He's always had MY best interests at heart when it comes to picking up everything. He sells me what I actually need and not the thing with the highest price tag. Dude freakin rocks. The other staff are all solid too. The shop itself? Amazing. Tons of products to select from, for just about anyone. 'Water pipes', hookah, vapes, and massive selection of blunts, wraps and papers. Every so often I get a craving for cloves and, well, I'd accidentally left the last pack I'd been given by a friend in town from out of state in an Uber. I was running some errands & had to walk by here. I knew this place was around & hoped that since it was an actual stand-alone smoke shop that they'd have them since go figure other places near didn't. As I walked up to the store I saw that it was closed. I looked at the hours and saw- nope it's not supposed to be. The door was totally locked though. Ok no big deal. I don't actually need smokes anyway. I started to walk away to continue running errands. When I went to leave a security guard came up behind me asking me if I'd wanted to shop there. I tried to politely decline saying it wasn't necessary. He said that the owner was exercising or something. Exercising? During store open hours & completely shutting down her business to do so? Uh ok... I was ready to leave but then the lady came and I felt rushed and insisted in going. I figured fine I will go in to see if they have the smokes at least. Sure enough they do carry them... but they were out of stock. I was told that they were restocked once a month on the first. The lady tried to sell me other flavors of the Djarums but I wasn't interested & finally bowed out. I didn't get pictures inside because I didn't even want to be in there in the first place. It wasn't the tidiest in there. It was dusty & not really appealing at all. Ultimately this is something that I haven't missed at all. I've bought 3 ecig devices from them and they are comparable to online prices. It is a brick and mortar store, so I forgive some cost being added in for having to pay for the shop overhead. One thing I really like is that the owner brings in imported snacks and snacks I dont see at conventional supermarkets. The two I really like are Turtle Chips and Rap Snacks! If you're not a fatass like me I'm sure you'll find something in there you'll like. One small issue I have with the place is that some of the sodas are consistently out of date and taste kind of flat and weird. So I usually avoid getting coke and a few others there and just get gatorade or one of the other 50 choices. They have a lot of choices, which I like a lot. Thanks for that! I originally went in to purchase cigarettes and rolling papers. While I was there, the clerk offered me pre-rolls. I purchased them for approximately $15 plus tax. I was concerned because this appeared to be a smoke shop rather than a licensed cannabis dispensary, and I had questions about whether the cannabis product was legally sourced, properly tested, and being sold under the appropriate license. I am also posting a photo of the packaging because I believe consumers should be able to see exactly what was being sold to me. I noticed a number of very young-looking customers coming into the store during my visit. I cannot verify anyone's age, so I am not claiming that the store sold cannabis to minors. However, seeing so many young-looking customers while cannabis products were being offered for sale raised concerns for me about age verification and compliance. I'm not posting this review to make accusations that I cannot prove. I'm asking for transparency and for the appropriate authorities to determine whether cannabis products are being legally sold at this location. I have submitted information to the California Department of Cannabis Control and would encourage consumers to verify that cannabis products come from licensed retailers and have the required testing and labeling. I don't want other customers purchasing products without knowing exactly what they're getting or whether the products have received the safety testing required under California law.
