Depends on the day usually I come in and the guy is fairly cool this morning around 6:40 he had a bit of an attitude and very combative. I questioned a donut price I said "oh last time I paid $2.50 now it's $3.19 for one donut?" He said "oh I'm not that stupid you must've been at another donut shop" I laughed and said noooo I only come here I know where I am. But yea the donuts are delicious but the attitude left a bad taste in my mouth. Like others have stated.

Taste: 5 stars. Very light and not thick and heavy donuts. The best place I've found that also has a good layer of chocolate on their bar donuts. This other store in Canyon Crest has the thinnest layer of chocolate so I don't really get to enjoy my "chocolate" donut there. Service: 3.5-4 stars. Ok. Sometimes I feel rushed in there. Price: 3-4 stars. Average. Price per donut is about $1-$1.20 like many other shops. They have a Half Dozen mixed for $6.75 and it's almost like paying for 6 individual donuts that cost $1-$1.20 ea so not a special deal. Think it was Cash only.

My cousin recommended this place and I needed to buy doughnuts for the office for a going away party, so came here because I needed them earlier than when most doughnut shops open. Freshh Donuts is located in a pretty unassuming strip mall. It's open 24 hours! I haven't been to a 24 hour doughnut shop in the middle of the night since my days in Berkeley. In any case, I was pretty excited to try a new place and buy doughnuts at 3:45am. I was a bit nervous about whether they'd be essentially day-old doughnuts with new stuff being made to be ready for later, but the doughnuts seem to be made all throughout the day and they were all really freshh (heh). I got three dozen doughnuts and pretty much let the guy at the counter pick for me. They were a big hit at the office. I tried two doughnuts. The cinnamon crumb was really good. I love the texture of their yeast doughnuts. The cinnamon crumb was flavorful without being too sweet. This is always the doughnut variety I choose when I try a new place, since it's also sort of a Southern California signature flavor. The other one I tried was the blueberry old fashioned. An old fashioned is always the second doughnut I try when testing out a new place. For me, the blueberry old fashioned didn't quite do it for me. There really wasn't any blueberry flavor and it was way too sweet. The only thing I tasted was sweet. And the texture isn't quite there. When I have an old fashioned doughnut, I want nice crispy edges with a soft inside, whereas this one was a bit soft all over. Perhaps there was so much icing on it that it ruined the crispiness. As for price, Freshh is actually surprisingly expensive. From prior reviews, looks like they used to be cheaper. But now, they're definitely one of the more expensive pink box mom and pop doughnut shops. One dozen was $13.50 or $13.75, so more than $1 per doughnut even buying a dozen and no offer of a free 13th doughnut. Three dozen doughnuts plus two additional doughnuts and a cup of coffee came to $45. I was initially incorrectly charged and had to help the guy figure out how much I was supposed to be charged. Maybe the menu prices changed recently so he was still getting used to it. I feel like this place is around 3.5 stars, but I rounded down due to price. There are better doughnut shops around that are as good or better and also cheaper. But this place is open 24 hours so come here if you need a late night doughnut fix.

I think that they're an all-star business that deserves recognition. It is a beautiful little donut, drinks and snacks shop that has everything you need for a breakfast or midnight fix. I also LOVE their name!!--"Freshh" Donuts, hahahah. The added "h" really adds emphasis to the freshness of these donuts. No matter when you arrive, they'll be fully stocked with every variety of donut you could possibly want. The manager is also an extremely pleasant person who will do service with a smile. It's all around good vibes, and if you grew up in the 90s you remember the post-retro donut aesthetic. Like a 2000s Baskin Robbins. You'll find affordable freshh donuts and nice smoothies. Really, you can't go wrong coming here! I personally like showing up whenever I need a pick-me-up, and it's a good business that was impacted by COVID but still remains resilient. Honestly, the donuts are not the greatest thing, but they are delicious. You do not come here just for the donuts, but the smile on the cashier's face and service. Sometimes he gives extra donuts and it puts an added smile to your day. I came at 11pm and I SWEAR this man and his donuts showed me a new light. Any local or student should stop by and taste these DAMN DONUTS!!! read more

Walking out of my apartment at midnite and walkin to my neighbors I can smell a draft of freshly baked donuts!! I usually don't care for donuts but my ex-roommate LOVES donuts!! So we walk the quick walk to freshhhhhhhhh donuts and pick up some donuts and donut holes! donut holes are the BEST and at 2 in the morning they are super fresh. Plus he doesnt just give you a dozen for a dollar he gives you 2dozen + some for $1!! Then we take the walk of shame back to our apt knowing we gained 5lbs from chugging the holes into our mouths during the walk home....the curse of livin next to a donut shop!!!! read more

I love this place! I'm so happy that I found it. My favorites are the donut holes and the blueberry donuts. The prices are GREAT. Only thing I'd change is the way that leftovers are dealt with. I wish they'd donate them instead of throwing them away! I can't help but feel sad about all the waste... Especially since there are so many homeless in Riverside! I love coming here as I go to UCR. Donuts are the most fresh in the morning but sometimes you can find what you like in the evening time. Typically it's an in and out experience. They also have drinks and snacks if you'd like some. Prices are good too! Sometimes they have some interesting characters hanging around so be sure to lock your doors. read more

I have been craving donuts. We stopped here on the way to visit friends at 8pm. They had a decent selection in stock at that time. We got a blueberry donut (not very good), a chocolate cake donut (average), Bavarian cream (average), and a lemon curd (delicious). I will stop back here for the lemon. read more

I couldn't believe the service. The older man was so rude to us. They were out of the buttermilk and he straight up said they don't make those. I asked about other items on the menu to which he said they don't have any of that stuff no more. Then when we informed him we were getting a dozen he got mad and said we couldn't have the donuts we had originally picked only regular donuts. I explained I was going to pay for the apple fritter on the side. Then we go to pay and he charged is 10 dollars for a regular dozen with two Bavarian cream filled. I was appalled. read more

The donuts here are so good! I went around 11:30pm! The older gentleman wasn't rude or anything, maybe tired but not rude or pushy. I love this place. The guy that owns this place is very nice and generous. He does seem to have a bit attitude and impatient but i don't think it has a huge impact on his business or the food he makes. This place is open 24/7 and is very convenient for students who have a sugar craving late in the night. This isn't Krispy Kreme where everything is perfect and shiny but it sure is delicious. And the donut sizes range from "quite generous" to "big". A donut costs roughly 69¢ and for a half dozen you can get them for $4.50. The owner is very nice and sometimes throws in extra/free donuts for you. Yay!! read more

This donut shop is freshhhhhhhhhhhh. I've been walking over to get late night treats for the past year and have always been happy with the quality of the donuts. They are cash only so make sure you bring cash. Also sometimes the employee will hook you up with an extra donut if you buy a half a dozen. Definitely keeps me coming back. read more

Just what the name says Fresh donuts! Driven past many times and finally decided to stop. The donuts were so good and fresh, even at 730 at night. Apple fritter was quite possibly the best I've ever had. Bear claw was great and stuffed with cinnamon apples. They have a blueberry jelly donut -gtfoh - that was heavenly. The stuffed croissants were on point. At least the cream cheese one was. If you're craving donuts this should be your place! read more

This place is open 24/7, which is really convenient. It's a nice little place, but as much as I like this place, the donuts are still the same as other places. I think the charm is that it has is that it's got these late hours, it's a beacon of light in the middle of the night in a creepy neighborhood, and its name. We came here for first time two nights ago at 2:30 am for fresh donuts. The prices are amazing and the donuts just as much! Very fluffy and airy! This donut place is okay, the interior isn't really impressive. I've seen better, however the donuts are pretty good and the place is open 24 hours with convenient parking, but the owner was rude and hurried my order. Next, they don't accept debit/credit card.. The cake donuts are pretty good, the raised donuts are worse than dunkin donuts...which is sad. They are fluffy, but fall apart in your mouth, rather than having that slightly doughy resistance of a good raised donut. read more

Perfectly paired with a scalding hot cup of homemade coffee. Lol Hubby describes it ambiance as a normal donut shop and the service is fairly quick. If you try my fave cinnamon roll let me know what you think.

The interior is clean and minimal. When I came in the afternoon, there were no other customers. The bread selection seemed limited. I decided to pick up some señorita bread with cream cheese filling and Ube filling. The bread is soft and the filling is sweet. Other than the seniority bread, I wasn't sure what else to get here.

A corner shop with a number of hungry patrons grabbing their sweet morning fix. I greeted by a nice gentleman behind the counter. I ordered the Chocolate Chip Donut which could only be found at one other Donut Shop I've visited: Woodcrest Donuts and was looking forward to eating this one which looked like it had Dark Chocolate Chips vs the standard Milk Chocolate variant. The donut was delicious and decadent. If Riverside does one thing right, it's Donuts. Craving satisfied!

They had the classic finds but I did get one with fruity pebbles on it (not of the classic variety).. Not sure if there's more outside of the classic variety but that's what they had at the time. This is my donuts spot now. I don't know of any other vegan donuts so I'm grateful for you, Jenny's Donuts.

Their coffee, tea, and baked goods are fantastic, but the main reason I love this place is because it's very cozy and the perfect place to read, study, catch up with a friend, or go on a date. They have a special, themed menu that changes every month. There is almost always seating available. They have a small book exchange, often sell local art, have cute merch, and just opened up a bakery right next door with extra seating. I'm kind of a snobbish third-wave coffee person and although this place isn't trying to be that way, it still is my favorite spot because of the overall vibe, how genuinely kind and down to earth the baristas are, and how comfortable it is. A lot of coffee shops are so brightly lit and trying to be hipster still in 2026, but this place is just kind of homey and the classic cozy coffee shop we all want to go to. So if you're a hardcore coffee connoisseur and are looking for the highest quality coffee, this might not be your spot. It comes with grilled chicken, lettuce and tomato, all on a toasted sourdough bread covered with pesto and cheese. For the side I typically get the Italian pasta salad, which is always delicious. One thing about this sandwhich is that the chicken will never cover the entire bread and it will never be distributed evenly. So you will always have one half that has less chicken and ends up being part veggie pesto sandwhich, which is still worth it. The other favorite is a turkey club sandwhich on a croissant. It's basic, but also very tasty. They also carry a variety of pastries and serve Klatch coffee (brewed coffee) if you need a sweet treat afterward.

As far as options go, I think there's a decent selection of more unique syrups for coffees. They do change it up throughout the year. The drinks here are definitely more of a premium price point, but I think they're generally good. On this particular trip, I wanted to try their new syrup flavor (it was some form of orange zest, or something similar?), but noticed my latte had no real flavor in it after a few sips. Upon looking at the receipt, the person who took my order just gave me a regular cafe latte and didn't add the syrup I requested. The coffee was fine, but I would have liked trying something new. I have gotten several of their food options before, and I think that some of them are well-priced for the portion and some can be more on the expensive side. I think the avocado toast was pretty robust and was a good value. The steak and eggs are somewhat hit or miss, and I have had it multiple times. The cut of the meat can be chewy at times, and then also more lean and tender other times. Sometimes it comes with large pieces of chewy fat, which isn't quite to my taste. The sandwich options generally are a good value. I do kind of wish they switched up their menu a bit more often, since this current menu is rather basic and they have had more interesting food options before. Overall, a decent choice for a more premium coffee, tea, and food for the Downtown/UCR area of Riverside. Service is okay, and I have had somewhat mixed experiences with that. The employees generally seem pleasant and they're nice, but I have gotten incorrect orders at least a couple of times. During this particular visit, in which the photos are from, I had to ask two different people to get extra napkins. Our actual server was the first to acknowledge, then possibly forgot and didn't come back.

Well, I've never written a review before because I never felt the need to, however the service was so bad that I had to let yall know bout it. First things first, I used to be a regular at this donut shop b/c it's conveniently close to our house, but now I'll never come back here again due to their service. Let me preface this review by saying that a few of their employees are pretty nice, but there are a handful who are blatantly rude. When I came in for my last time, I waited for the employee to help me, only for him to ridicule me by saying "i don't have all day just choose one" while mugging me the entire time. Sure, whatever, maybe it was a bad day. The very next day, I call them to ask if they have any donut holes, and they respond "no, we don't have any donut holes okay? bye". I call again to ask WHEN they'll have donut holes, to which they respond "look we don't have any donut holes, okay? BYE" and hung up. Ha, I'd put up with their mugging and pouting and pathetic service because their donuts are so cheap, but now it's not even worth it. I hope they realize that their customer service is putrid, otherwise, good riddance. read more

It's unfortunate they allow the homeless man and his pit bull live on their property. There's even a security guard that works the property and they still allow this man Trash and ruin it. This particular homeless person is constantly intoxicated and aggressive. Our family will not be going to this donut shop until they decide not to allow this type of behavior at their business. read more

I usually don't really eat doughnut very often until this place. I usually can barely finish one because they are sooo sweet but these ones are just so yummy. They don't eve n have that gross chalky feeling when they're cold. Hands down my favorite doughnut shop around. read more
