I noticed a lot of great reviews on this establishment but it's quite questionable when it comes to service. On May 21st, 2026 at 2:30pm I made the mistake on walking in with my 3 year old niece and Godchild to get her some donuts. As I walked in the door opened all the way. I didn't realize it and I greeted the young lady working behind the counter who seemed to be annoyed by entering the shop. She was upset and barely said hello. She marched around the counter and closed the front door. I apologized and told her twice that I didn't know at that moment the door was opened. She didn't answer we at all kept quiet the whole time I was there. Although, she seemed very upset with me. Kept staring up and down at me even when I first walked in. I felt she didn't want to serve my niece and I. The young lady was very stern and asked what I wanted I told her a dozen of donuts. As I'm picking out donuts I realized shes rolling her eyes and getting a bit rude. I asked her if she was having a bad day did not respond just nudged with her shoulders and refused to speak. I asked for the receipt as I was paying and she just pointed at the machine To grab it. As I'm leaving she helps another customer and verbally asking him how he's day was going and what he would like and etc. I wish I never bought the donuts although my niece wanted her favorite treat. The Young lady was biased which was quite noticeable. There are so many other donut places I should have gone too but was recommended this place. I will never step foot at this establishment again. You might have good reviews on your donuts but you're quite selective on the people you serve. As a personal note I am an ex-auditor and this was quite disturbing behavior. read more

Stopped by Better Be Donuts and tried their old-fashioned and apple fritter. The apple fritter was a bit on the oily side but still delicious, with a nice crisp on the outside. The old-fashioned was just okay for me--maybe because it was later in the day--but still had a good texture. The staff was super kind and welcoming, which made the visit even better. We pulled off the freeway on the way to Phoenix to try their donuts. Our very fav donut shop (for raised donuts) is owned by a lovely Vietnamese family in Merced CA called Rollin donuts! When we learned "Be Better" was owned by a Vietnamese family, we were optimistic! Maybe their culture has a donut making secret. My husband is a donut nut and is always on the search for the best donuts! I ordered a black and white frosted raised donut and a big smile broke our on our faces when we tasted it! So light and fully and melt in your mouth delicious! We were already back on the freeway when we tasted it or we would have turned around to get another! We also tried a small Apple fritter and old fashion maple. All three were excellent. There really not much seating so if you meet friends here, you'll have to find another place to hang! This is a soft apple fritter with a light cinnamon flavor. This is a bit more apple-y than other places, but it's a bit greasy. The thai tea is great and I regret not getting a large. read more

i just moved down here and i've been trying to find a new local donut shop, and so far this one has been the best one! they're service is good :) they're super nice! always a kind interaction. my boyfriend always gets the donut holes and he likes them. they gave us extra! i got the ham, bacon, egg and cheese croissant. the coffee is good! for the hot coffee they either have the house coffee behind the counter or the 4 self serve flavored ones. they also have creamer and sugar. we'll be going more often for sure! read more

The workers Davy and Brandy were very unprofessional, rude, and inappropriate. Aside from that, the donuts and drinks were decent.

Donuts are just okay, noting to brag about. Every time I come here around 4-5am they never have any milk for sale, they have a very select selection, very basic. They never know what a Boston cream donut is. Overall I wish there was another donut shop in the area on my commute to work, if there was then I'd definitely pass this place up for another.
