the word eat energize on a wall

I have seen Freshii locations all around the GTA but this was my first time actually eating at one, and for breakfast! We had actually planned on going to the eggsmart next door, but then saw this new location open. Decor 5/5 Really open and airy. You can tell that freshii did put some thought into this place.. it feels fresh Service 5/5 Was greeted by a gentleman who was very polite. Food 5/5 Ordered the ranchero grilled breakfast burrito and the Spinach, Mushroom & Cheese grilled egg pocket. Both were fresh and very tasty. Also got the Energii bites which were so good! Definitely a good alternative to breakfast if your tired of the greasy stuff

Bad experience! Long line, and only cash payments without any notice, and we ordered a bowl and no taste, no sauce. Don't recommend!

My friend had the King of Kings as our server said this is one of their most popular choices. I opted for the Spicy Charsu. Now I understand some people can't handle heat but I live off of Purple Tongue hot sauce which is made with some pretty hot peppers. I asked for a level one and the lady explained that the spice level on the Charsu was a whole series of levels higher than the King of Kings. I get that . Give me the heat. Anywho, she was comfortable with giving me 0.5 but said I could make it hotter if need be. Ok, better to start smaller I guess. They put some sauce on the side which I added to my bowl. Personally I found the 0.5 a nice tingle; it was good. Made my nose run. But I'm totally getting the level 1 next time. My friend however tried a sip of my broth, spit it out and said poison poison because of the heat Mind you, his King of Kings was a level 1. Which to me tasted creamy and delicious. I love a good pork bone soup and I opted for the Spicy Charsu because of the pork bone base. I loved the broth. It was perfection. The noodles were so fresh . The portion size was enormous. I kept eating and more noodles appeared. The Charsu had an amazing flavor to it . Smoky and delicious . My friend is a larger man and even he commented on the portion size saying he would be ok with a smaller size as he was so full. Good portions for your money. We also had the Gyoza and the TakoYaki. The TakoYaki was soft and loaded with the delicious sauce. The Gyoza were enormous. We were both 100% satisfied with our visit and will be back for sure.

The concerned server told me that it may be painful, but being the chili head that I am, I gladly took on the challenge. It was a larger bowl than their regular size and my ramen came topped with lots of corn, some mushrooms, bean sprouts and 6 large pieces of chasu. The broth was magma red, but it was not as spicy as I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, it was spicy but not to the point where it would warrant a warning. The spicy broth tasted like a mix of Buldak sauce and Capsaicin, but didn't have much depth. I finished my ramen, broth and all and enjoyed most of the experience. The least favorite was the chasu and the egg as chasu did not taste fresh, and I could not taste the char on them at all. The egg was over-cooked and under marinated which was disappointing. It's still one of the few ramen options in Durham but can't say it's comparable to the other Kenzo locations.

My rating for the food is five stars. It was extremely hot inside this eatery that I'm taking away a star. My friend and I were meeting up in Oshawa. We tend to sort out the eatery that we'd like to dine at first, following by shopping. She's vegan. I tend to try anything. On my Instagram feed, I saw dosas from this eatery. The masala dosa that I was looking at was huge and crispy. It looked delicious. I shared this feed with my friend, asking if she'd like to go indulge in a dosa. She said yes. Yay! After spending some time last Saturday shopping in Oshawa, we drove over to this eatery. It's in a plaza. I actually missed my left turn into this plaza because a pickup truck came out of it rather recklessly and I had to avoid it coming in my direction. I managed to turn left at the street just after the plaza and then headed back. I backed into a spot steps away from the eatery. My friend parked and we both walked in. The interior is small. There must have been maybe seven tables. We were greeted promptly by a nice woman and got the last table closest to the counter. We got Kirkland bottled water to start. We then looked at the menu. My friend had questions, so we got a different woman who came out of the kitchen to help explain what vegetarian options were available to her. My friend got the onion dosa. I got the ghee roast dosa. Both came with chutneys and sambar. I also ordered a Diet Coke. I ended up getting a second can later on during our meal. It was busy. Everyone around us was eating vazhai ilai virundhu. In Tamil, the first two words mean banana leaf, on which the meal is served. The last word means meal or feast. It offers both vegetarian and meat versions of this feast, which includes two types of rice, sambar, salad, papad, and more. A man next to us had overheard us talking about how yummy everyone's banana leaf feast looked. He said that he works at the other end of this plaza and comes here to eat on his lunch break before heading back to work. He is a regular and orders nothing but this meal. Wow! It didn't take long for our food to arrive despite how busy everyone in the kitchen was. They looked hot. One man came out of the kitchen to break briefly before heading back in. Our dosas looked amazing. We went for it. My friend didn't do the chutney that was white. It looked like it had dairy in it. I'm borderline lactose-intolerant. I had some of it. It was coconut with some fragrant mint. It was delicious. I think that it had coconut milk because I was fine after sampling it. The other two chutneys were also amazing. They had a lot of flavour. They weren't spicy. I just wish that I knew what they were called. The sambar (stew) was excellent. I got bits of carrot that didn't require much chewing. It was had a lot of depth. The flavour was amazing and complex simultaneously. I ripped my dosa and dunked each morsel into the various chutneys and sambar. This meal was excellent. The dosa had the right balance of softness and crispiness. Ghee makes everything yummy. I loved it so much. My friend loved her onion dosa, too. She was happy devouring it. I was so glad that we both enjoyed this dosa experience. She went to use the washroom first. There was only one stall in the back. I used it afterwards. It was clean. No issues. I paid for my meal at the counter. I let the woman know that everything that I had consumed was yummy. She was pleased. I paid with a credit card and tipped. Done! We were both happy to exit this hot restaurant. It was actually much cooler outside. This place could be better ventilated, with a fan or air conditioning on. I'd return to get takeout during our warm summer weather. Otherwise, I may consider dining in when it's cooler outside. Maybe it'll be the perfect temperature inside to comfortably dine in. (269)
