Love this location! Even has a beautiful patio and super clean:) fantastic and friendly service too. So happy to find this hidden in the corner, across Vaughan Mills mall.

Freshii has recently made its way to the GTA opening several stores in the area. The new Freshii which is located in the plazas outside of Vaughan Mills is the one i went to. It's in the corner of the plaza with the supermarket. The environment is clean and bright with the people working looking very friendly. You basically just pick up your food and can sit on the tables inside the restaurant. I've already had lunch so I opt out of the food and just went for one of their smoothies. I've heard great things about the store and was excited to try it out. I ordered the "Freshii Green" smoothie which consists of kale, spinach, pineapple, avocado and low fat frozen yogurt. The smoothie was rather expensive. It came to about $6.75 after tax which I was fine with but when I got it, it was a lot smaller than I have imagined. It tasted rather sweet though, a taste I would rather have than a sour taste which is what I feel like the Jugo Juice mighty kale tastes like. Even with the expensive price tag, I really enjoyed the smoothie but I'm not sure if I would get it again. I would visit again just to try out some of their foods such as their bowls and salads. This brand new place is giving Vaughan a few more healthier options.

A totally unexpected surprise…read more We were hankering for meatless/less heavy, and stumbled upon this charming Vietnamese restaurant. A tiny, family business who provide a quiet, serene and pleasant dining experience. NO MUSIC. BONUS! Spouse had the "bun bo Hue" and myself the "crab and fish maw". Hubby said that the taste and texture of the seitan (glutens) were on point. The "fish maw" in my crab soup had a perfect fish maw texture! We polished both off our dishes in record time and felt good about what we ate. I'm not a vegan but sometimes you just want something light and sustaining. HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. The owners/staff are nice to their customers.

When we first…read morewalked in, I immediately noticed the space was packed with way more tables and chairs than it could realistically handle. It felt a bit cramped, and with everyone turning to look at us, it was a little awkward- definitely one of those we just walked into the wrong party moments. Once we got seated, we were handed menus with numbers and asked to write down the codes for what we wanted. I wasn't super hungry, so I ordered the spicy tofu and spring rolls as appetizers, while the rest of the group ordered a variety of noodle dishes. One by one, the dishes started arriving, and I have to say, the portions were generous and everything I tasted was really flavorful. But then I kept waiting for my food, and by the time everyone else was nearly done eating, the server came over to say they had run out of crispy tofu. On top of that, we had ordered two spring rolls and only received one, even though we clearly marked "x2" on the sheet. At that point, it didn't make sense to order something else and wait another 20 minutes to eat alone, so I just ordered a spring roll and rice chicken roll to go. Overall, the noodle dishes were delicious and definitely something I'd come back for. But the restaurant could really use some improvements in organization, space management, and order accuracy.

Found another wonderful vegan place to try with my friend!…read moreWe were extremely pleased with the quality of the food from the kitchen and it did not smell like oil in there at all. Service was great and lady was really polite. The mock pork was out of this world and I would highly recommend to try that. The mock chicken was ok. It was bland in comparison to the pork

The place was not the cleanest and all the condiments were sticky. We were hungry and I was glad to see vegan Vietnamese restaurant so we decided to stay. We ordered papaya salad, vermicelli noodles with vegan pork and banh mi. We got a free cold tea which was a nice touch. The food came pretty quickly. The Banh Mi was small and for me was lacking in ingredients. I was eating mostly bread, just a small amount of meat and veggies were inside. Papaya salad was nothing I would expect. Did not like the sauce and the crushed peanuts on top were stale. The best was the vermicelli bowl. It was flavorful and fresh. The only thing is I would love to have more "meat". Not sure if they were trying to rush with the food before closing but I was a little disappointed with the taste. I would give them a second chance, maybe I just ordered wrong items.

Service is a hit or miss, while all the staff are polite and friendly, sometimes it's hard to get their attention, especially when things start to pick up. The restaurant is not big, but around lunch time gets pretty busy. It's a comfortable space, nothing fancy. We ordered the pad see ew and khao soi. Pad see ew was good, had nice flavours. Though it didnt come with the traditional large wide noodles. The khao soi was good as well, though again, had mixed canto fried noodles as the topping. Overall a good place to grab a quick bite.

Service was very quick and we were seated right away on a weekday night - wasn't busy at all - servers were friendly and made suggestions on what to order. The red chick curry was average at best, found the chicken on the dryer side of things. Pad Thai was also pretty average to me , nothing really stood out. Had Tom Yum soup as well, that was pretty tasty and had a nice spice kick to it (not pictured - as I forgot) Pricing and portions seemed fair - not sure if this was the best Thai in Toronto area, but I definitely have some better go to's in Vancouver. Overall, it's worth a try - however, I'd probably try something else next time, since I'm not local.

The textures are surprising. The food is delicious. There is a "salmon" that looks and feels just like sashimi down to the white stripes that go along each cut. They serve this on a massive kale salad with chickpeas, piles of thin carrots and a rich tahini dressing. Ive also had the "chicken". The breading is so tasty and crispy. When dipped in the sauce, could really fool you into thinking its chicken. Also have tried the mac and cheese and fried rice. Their drinks/ smoothies are delivious too. I recommend the avocado. Wasnt a fan of the bbq pork buns(dry and not enough filling). I removed 1 star for the customer service.
