There was only enough food for one serving for each person. I heard complaints, which is something a bride hates to hear. Be willing to pay for extra seats to make sure you have all the food you want. But otherwise excellent service and very professional.

I try calling, and get a busy signal. I call again, and get someone who tells me the driver is in route and should be there any minute. Then, the company calls me back and says that the driver is lost and has been trying to call me, but I won't answer. Since I am holding my phone, and repeatedly trying to call them, and answered the second they called me, I am pretty sure the driver is not making any attempt to call me. I hand off my phone to someone else to direct the driver to the location (which I had given directions to in the emails), and go to the ceremony. After I get promoted, we go back into the conference room, and still no food. It's not 10:35-ish, meaning they are over an hour late. Finally, at 10:45 he shows up and starts setting up. Meanwhile, my guests are leaving because there was no food. After the ceremony, I called to make payment and ask for something to be done to credit me something, since they were 75 minutes late. I'm told that the driver explained to them that he got there at 10:07, and had all the food set up before my guests were there. I'm also told that it's "His story, my story, and the truth." Like I am making the whole thing up. Eventually, they gave me a 10% discount, which on a party with over $800 of food - most of which had to be thrown away because my guests were gone - was not nearly enough for being 75 minutes late - and for treating me like I am trying to lie to them and get over on paying them. I will say - the food was good, and they were great on getting everything scheduled. It's just the delivery was horrible and will keep me from going back to them.

Turns out they were out of breakfast potatoes and wanted to bring us french fries instead. We declined. Really.....nothing special about this breakfast and very expensive and disappointing service. The only positive was the restaurant looks nice. Decided to give the restaurant another chance and went for lunch. Had soup and salad. I really only wanted a cup of soup, but that was not possible. Had a very good strawberry and watermelon salad and a giant bowl of corn bisque swimming in oil on top. Very unpalatable. Told the waitress and all I was offered was that they would tell the chef. The salad was $16 and the soup was uneaten and cost me $14! They did bring me the standard Stagecoach hush puppies before my meal and they were delicious! When I had heard the restaurant would be managed by the owners of Monument Cafe I was so excited. I love Monument, but this restaurant is too expensive for the poor quality of food. I would love to have the menu at Monument at this restaurant. The only positive is that the remodel of the restaurant is lovely in appearance. When it comes to the wedding world of Austin, she knows EVERYONE and has great rapport with all of them.
