However it does have a photo machine which is handy when you need to post something with a photo. There is often a queue and the staff are not the fastest, but they are nice and can always give you the information you need. The ladies who work here are ever-cheerful and helpful, and are excellent at getting to know their regular customers. If you come here more than a couple of times you will end up feeling like a very valued regular customer - they're just lovely! We drop in here regularly to pick up stamps, send parcels, and sometimes with a whole stack of E-Bay sales to send off. Whether you come in for one stamp or with a pile of parcels, the welcome will always be warm and genuine and your transaction will be treated with attention and interest. Nothing fazes these ladies!

The Pier has a shop selling buckets and spades, inflatables, newspapers etc, and also a cafe with outside tables. There's a pub (The Neptune), and the new and abfab Urban Reef bar and restaurant (with deli for beach picnics). Two lots of public loo nearby, plus hot and cold showers. Deck chairs, windbreaks, parasols and loungers can be hired - as can a wheelchair suitable for use on the sand. Also beach huts are available to rent by the day or week from the Seafront Office.
