It was my son's first time he's 17months, I have an almost 4 yo and my nephew is 8yo. We normally visit the beginning for the month but this past weekend was the only weekend that worked with our schedule and they do recommend visiting earlier since it's not as busy. We arrived just alittle around 11am there was a line at the entrance. Entrance fee is $10/car (suggest carpooling). There was definitely quite a bit of ppl. From reading recent reviews I'd said our experience was better than theirs despite the busy weekend. Thankfully they allowed us in to park, it was busy and we ended up parking on the second dirt lot. We did our normal train ride and hayride. The line for the train ride was extremely long we waited about an hour. But it was also my first time experiencing the train going all the way down to the pumpkin patch area. Which was quite nice, the ride was longer and it saved us a trip walking down hill with our littles. The hayride was probably a 15-20min wait. The prices had little to no change since our last visit 2 years ago. We decided to eat some tacos at Charlie's since they weren't busy and it was the closest food vendor also prices were very reasonable. Ordered 4 tacos and one quesadillas for the kids and it was pretty good, the service was fast and friendly. They addressed the long wait issues and reassured the public that they are working on getting another train, working on a bridge to alleviate the traffic and getting more staff. Overall I do highly recommend going the weekend in the beginning of the month to avoid long waits and the crowds. We did see so many vendors on the area where the train rides were but we were just to tired and so were the kids that we didn't get to check it out. Perhaps next year. The kids had fun regardless. The staff we encountered were nice.

And take you back to the beginning. There is also a tractor ride that also takes you to see the whole place. The rides are beautiful both of them. I love the trees and the decorations and everything. They do a very good job arranging everything. We came last year and we bought tickets for the train but there was a bee attack. I had a flowery blouse and they were on me all the time I was there. So we had to leave. Good thing I saved the tickets and they honored them this time. They told me if I don't used them that day I could come in Christmas and use them then. I thought it was nice that they do that. So we used two tickets and now we have a good excuse to come back on Christmas. yay! The prices are modest. Everyone around were enjoying themselves. Very fantastic place to spend the evening. They only open on weekends though. So plan ahead.

First thing I want to say, they actually offer very good military discounts with valid ID. We were both so happy about this offering!! There were a few hiccups with tickets. They basically emailed the tickets. Sometimes they wouldn't scan at each haunt, so that was annoying but tolerable. Each haunt had it's own unique theme. We especially enjoyed the Pizza Crawlers -- excellent job on this one!!!! My only feedback would be... Maybe a DJ for music throughout the park... More food vendors More fog machines to dim the surface viewing area, but make it scary... MORE actors!! Just more more more. The groundwork and concepts are really great, just need to work out the haunt kinks. Great job to all those that worked this haunted event!!

The staff really are the reason, everyone was incredibly friendly and awesome, the actors were so good too!! They really put their all into their scary monster characters and they even had an entire photo shoot area where you could take fun pictures with cool creepy sets. (We used the electric chair scene) Since it was their first year, there weren't a lot of people but that made it better for us because there was virtually no wait at all for the mazes. The mazes were decorated so nice!! Lots of details, creepy and TONS of places the monsters popped out of! And they were long! I loved running through the soapy suds hallway too! The Fresno convention center is part of an entire convention complex which includes the Saroyan theatre and Selland Arena. Yes, the complex itself and restrooms are old and small, but they keep it clean and well organized. Reason why I give it four stars is because of accessibility. Even thou it is located in downtown Fresno, it is easy to find and find your way around. Easy parking, food locations nearby and parking is not over priced. Great place to hold venues.

Being outside in nature, watching Canadian Honkers, various kinds of ducks and other birds fly was a real treat! The music was great! We loved observing children, young and older adults. Everyone brought their blankets, chairs and pillows. We felt like we were in the 70's again. Everyone looked beautiful. It was a really good vibe. The event was very organized and guided us through the different phases of the event. There were food stands and trucks as well as other places to buy merchandise from the festival. Approximately two or three thousand attendees attended the event. People were friendly and everyone interacted, took time to create their lanterns. Some played cards or drew pictures or wrote why the wanted to make a lantern. Lastly, the best part was to place your lanterns in the lake. A beautiful, peaceful place to gather together, express and interact and enjoy in a beautiful setting. Wonderful!

We aren't huge baseball fans but live games are fun and the buffet and A/C at the Kodiak club on the second floor is a treat. With work schedules, this was our first game of the season and it was so disappointing. First, we were "late" arriving at 5:30 which we could have sworn was the normal time the club opens for evening games. Apparently doors opened earlier because there was no line at the gate and no tables left when we got upstairs. Huge bummer to have to eat outside in the stands. At least there's shade! It was Italian night with spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmigiana, eggplant, gnocchi, Caesar salad, Waldorf salad and a salad bar to make your own. Everything was delicious. There was also a station with really tasty smash burgers. However, they only brought out 6 at a time and didn't tell anyone that was the hold up. That was really annoying. They also added pretzel bites that you could have with the nacho cheese sauce for the nachos. They still had hot dogs but Unfortunately, they didn't have the chili for the hot dogs. The other big change in the Kodiak club was desserts were not put out with the other food. Rather there were little signs saying they would be put out at the 4th inning. Annoying but ok. At the start of the 4th I saw a worker with a tray of cannolis going to the burger station so I followed her. Usually you serve yourself but she was handing people one cannoli. I asked for one for my husband. The worker calls out to the worker next to her and says I want two. He takes the longest pause and then just holds up two fingers. What the hell?? The cannolis tasted chalky so that was a waste. Then people start crowding around the dessert table. Another worker came out with a big multi stand food carrier. She unwraps the plastic wrap around it and asks that people wait until she is done putting out all of the plates before taking any. Ok no problem. But by the time she's done there's a lot of people and it's a little chaotic. As she leaves she tells the two other workers that it's like this every time. If you create a chaotic scene, what do you expect? The reason I gave three stars is the tasty food and the game itself! We love to watch our local team - even when they don't win haha I like the entertainment between plays. The upper section where we sit is usually full which adds to the fun vibe. It was 100 degrees outside and it felt the same inside. It was not a comfortable environment to be in let alone dance! Guest were fanning themselves the entire time.
