I loved having my birthday parties here growing up and overall,…read moreI have a deep appreciation for the establishment, but I believe several areas could benefit from updates. Blackbeards definitely needs a facelift and general renovations, specifically regarding the arcade and food offerings. I also found the $35 wristband price to be high given the current selection of available attractions. While the miniature golf course remains in good condition, it is disappointing that the water slides are no longer operational. The pool area still looks sparkling clean and well-maintained, yet it remains inaccessible to guests. I discussed this with the workers and they stated that there are no plans to reopen the slides. If so, I suggest utilizing that space for something new to better serve their visitors. Blackbeards has a great deal of potential, and I look forward to seeing the improvements that could take place in the coming years.

Air conditioner works better now, which here in Fresno is very important, the attendants were very helpful when the cars didn't' run right or the door locked us out. Overall we had a great time and the kids want to go back. I also saw the swim lanes seems to be getting fixed. Oh I hope they open that area up soon! I have so many memories here from when I was little.

I LOVED that place as a kid. And Lucas and I have been hoping that seeing them working on it means they are getting it up and running again. Well, today there were 3 cars out front on the way home so I decided to stop in! Unfortunately, my childhood mini golf course is not coming back to life. BUT the owner invited me in to check out the new events venue THE PAVILION! And it is pretty dang cool. It will be completed soon and is open to book for weddings and any other types of events! He is also hoping to (possibly) host a concert summer series out by the old bumper boat pond and an Octoberfest (starting next year) with beer and venues at each of the 18 holes (). So it might not be a resurrection of the miniature golf course like we'd hoped, but it's still pretty exciting to have something local hosting some fun events! The place looks amazing and a great view for any event! My review obviously is not based on an experience of hosting an event there, but the owner was really cool and the venue itself is pretty awesome! Definitely something to check out

During that time, I've been to this course about 40-50 times. I've used the driving range and played the nine hole course. The last time I went (3 weeks ago) will be the last time I ever spend my hard earned money there. Overpriced- it's $35 to play nine holes with a broken cart. Half of the greens don't even have full grass coverage. A handful of times I've had my golf cart's battery die before I can even finish. Unfriendly staff- Most of the time I go, I can't tee off on the nine hole course before Jim barrels out of the club house and asks me when I plan to tee off. I've heard every excuse from "it's too hot outside to stay open past 4pm" to "you don't need to hit any practice chips before you tee off. Just hit a few after you guys finish the 9." I've never seen another business owner actively discourage people spending money at their business as much as I've seen Jim do this. Horrendous conditions- if you've been to this course in the last 12 months, I probably don't need to say anything more to you... The greens are made up of dirt on half of the holes and the matts you're supposed to tee of from (when you play from the blacks) are older than the river that flows behind the course. If you play a lot of golf like I do, you know how good it feels to not play the same handful of courses every weekend. That is why I kept returning to play here. I also thought that maybe it was so expensive because they needed money to get the course on the right track again... but after years of seeing the conditions get worse, I'm puzzled as to why it's so expensive. After some reflection, I've realized that, because of the owner's sentiment, I no longer wish to participate in funding this mess of an organization. It pains me to write this, because I love this game, but this is just plain robbery and I hope to save somebody from this experience.

Park closes at 6pm, extended summer hours is 7pm. We went on a Tuesday and Tuesdays are the days they offer their deals. It's buy one get one free basically for $49.99 which I think it's a fair price since individual tickets are from I believe $30-$40. Parking is $5 and if you want to park upfront it's $10. We waited in line for almost an hour to get inside so be mindful if you have a lot of things to carry. Bring a cooler with wheels and a wagon! If you also have a baby stroller that is also allowed inside. The only thing they won't allow you to bring inside is anything glass, alcohol or knives so please precut your fruits and sandwiches beforehand. They do check coolers and bags upfront. We bought Costco pizzas, made pasta salad, charcuterie boards and other knick knack snacks for the kids as well to give you guys ideas on what to bring! Most of the time everyone's gonna be out swimming and on rides and not paying attention on eating lol If you have kids, please take them I recommend and apply sunscreen at all times!

The traffic to go inside was busy and took some time to go in and to wait in line. Highly recommend to bring a wagon to carry all your things. I had 6 boxes of pizza to bring in so I'm glad I didn't have to carry it instead just wheel them in. The tubes is mainly for the lazy river because the wave pool it's not allowed. I didn't think it was worth getting tbh. Went on a few slides felt like a kid again. Me and my son enjoyed the wave until the "accidents" were happening in there so they had to clear the crowd a few times to I guess shock the pool. I hope there's plenty of chlorine to kill all the germs because I always think of water parks as a big toilet/bath house lol
