We went to the opening game on 4/7/2006. Great game! Facility is high class, always clean and orderly. There was even an awesome fireworks display! What got them a 4 star was the concessions. The Hot dogs were awesome, but the fries were covered with 10lbs of salt. We bought four orders and all were the same! If you didn't have high blood pressure before the fries, you'd have it for sure after just three of them. My son wanted brisket nachos, they were " supposed" to be good, well they weren't, not enough cheese, not enough sour cream and we looked for the brisket.. we found three very small cubes under one chip. For 15.00 he got ripped off. We all agreed that we would go out to dinner before any future games. But it didn't take away from the good time we had at the game. Such a fun filled event with the Yelp Central Valley north group. It was my first in person event and I had so much fun. We got to have free popcorn, drinks and charcuterie boards to grab some delicious cheese and meats. The guys who run the events and suites talked to us about what they offer for groups and parties that you might want to have. We walked around and got to see the exciting spots they have to offer. We also got free tickets to the game against Stockton which was also fireworks night! The fireworks are always great! They definitely know how to put on a good show. I love coming to games at Grizzlies Stadium. I love to support our home team. One thing that is very consistent, however, is that you're going to miss the first 3 innings if you want food on a busy night. I don't know why the food situation is this way. Not enough staff? I got great tickets. But when it comes to food I definitely wouldn't recommend. There was only a couple options and after waiting in line for a while we were told that we couldn't order that in this line, so we waited another 20-30 minutes in a different line and when we ordered chips for $5 that we figured were French fries since everything came with them we got corn chips out of a bag. Also the hotdog was one you can buy from the store in a pack for $3 when i paid $8 for it and a side of the fritos you see in the picture. read more

Had an amazing time! I took my son to his first baseball game and overall the Grizzly operation was top notch. When getting tickets at the ticket office and trying to figure out what seats to buy, they took me out to the field and showed me where really good seats would be before I purchased my tickets. Seriously...who does that!!! Oh BTW....Sunday the kids are free if they are part of Parkers kids club and adult tickets were $10. Overall the stadium has gone through some major renovations and it has been some time since I had been there. The place looks awesome and so many family friendly things to do there. Water play area, bounce houses, stuff to climb all over, huge lounge area for families and it is specifically a huge kids section. Very cool for the little ones. It also just happened they had "Makers Day" for the game. What this was was a huge kids Science, Art, Math, Engineering, Tech fair for kids. They had building of rockets, race cars, 3-D printing, and so much more. My son enjoyed this just as much as the game. We sat close to the field and we also got a foul ball thrown to my son. So total experience : -Seats on the field -Caught foul ball *BTW - You get a prize also when this happens (free food) -Built rockets, cars and drove robots -Lunch @ stadium - was actually really good *BTW - Large beers are $5 -Parking right next to stadium Total - $50.....seriously can't beat that Great value and the Grizzles won. read more

Super fun night!! The weather couldn't be better. We won by one point. We ate before we got to the park. Tonight they had about a half dozen food trucks. We parked in the spiral parking lot for $7. It was safe we had no problems. It took us about 1 minute to walk from the parking garage to the back entrance. Fresno is lucky to have AAA baseball. We had a great time. I'm not a baseball fan, but I've had a lot of fun the past few games! The bathrooms and stands are very clean. The lines for food are short, and the prices are not scary! It's about 6.50 for nearly everything here, burger, burrito, hot dog... I wore a baseball cap and t shirt, apparently I was under dressed. Girls had their hair curled, cute tops, and a full set of make up on....? It's actually a pretty smart, there are PLENTY of young boys here. It could have just been the nights we are going (Thirsty Thursdays) though. Monday nights are a really good deal! For $22 bucks you get 2 tickets to game, 2 hot dogs, 2 sodas, 2 tickets to wild water adventures, and games at Blackbeard's. That's a great deal! Tuesdays are all you can eat day, I think it's $15, and Wednesdays, kids get in for $2. Thursdays, are thirsty Thursdays. 12 oz sodas, and beer is $1. It stays this price until the 5th inning. If your ever going to a game with a promotional give away, good luck getting in the game before it starts. They had the back gate closed to general admission 20 minutes before game time. On top of that when your sent to the front of the park the lines are around the block due to only 2 other gates being open. read more

Go to about 5 or 6 Grizzlies games a year for the past several years. Would go a lot more often but by the time you buy tickets, park, grab some food, a couple of sodas and a beer or two, I'm out $150. If you do hit "Thirsty Thursdays" for the $2 beer you end up elbow to elbow with a bunch of drunks. Just charge a reasonable price and give me a reasonable product. I don't have a problem with anyone making a profit. Heck, charge me $4 for a beer. But don't nail me for 7 bucks. Even a hot dog and soda is going to set you back $10. I've lived in Fresno my entire life and everyone I know says the same thing so you would think after 15 years of struggling to get seats filled they would figure out that Fresno is not LA, Boston, Miami, Chicago, etc. My bet is that if they don't make some changes that Fresno will have a nice stadium without a team to play in it. read more

I'm going to rate this independent of the park (which I also reviewed). For one, for a 7:05 start, our game started an hour late (with no explanation that I heard). Poor, poor form. The mascot, Parker is ok; I didn't see much cool stuff from him. His trademark seems to be pelvic thrusts. That's kind of weird for a character that attracts kids. Let's see, entertainment-wise, Parker game out with little kids dressed as mini-Parkers. That was cute. Parker soaked the right field bleachers (I wish there was prior warning about that! It was hot!). Parker stood on the visitors side and didn't really commit to pretending he was batting or hexing the other team. Quality video board with lots of happy birthdays and welcomes. You had your kids cam, dance cam, hair cam?, etc. Obviously the product is good. The Giants have constructed two World Series champions in three years from this homegrown talent. Oh, and they also hosted a farmers market in the concourse during the game. I thought that was a cool touch. Minus on some hard-selling by some of the vendors. The stadium is really one of the best Triple A ball parks in the entire country. It has a beautiful baseball field, a competitive team, and all the amenities you could want. The place is well taken care of and very clean. But with how wonderful the park itself and the team are the lication is the complete downfall. Downtown Fresno is still just a dump. The parking is bad, the streets are confusing, and the area is dirty and dangerous. Even with all the money the city has pumped into downtown and with some great breweries and restaurants, I still hate taking my kids here to watch a game. If the stadium was built in another park of town I could see it be a sell out crowd night after night. If I could watch a game then walk around after to shop, eat and drink without the homelessness, trash, and crime then I would be a season ticket holder and really enjoy the Grizzlies and baseball in Fresno. read more

The Grizzly Team were so upbeat and friendly it was like being greeted at a 5-star hotel. The Club renovations to seating, lighting and bathrooms were quality. The banquet food selections and quality were top notch. The attention to detail were well planned and executed. The Opening night was positive night to remember. Great stadium, good baseball, decent prices...I liked it!! I have nothing negative to say about this place. I came to 3 games on August 14-16, and although the Grizzlies didn't win any of the games, we had a great time. Parking was $5, but on a weeknight, it seems that there is plenty of street parking that is free. The cheap seats are $8 each, but there are plenty of deals to be had. And, you're close enough to the field to yell at the players and they can hear you. I love minor league baseball, and this is a great place to check it out! read more
