Just note things are a bit overpriced, but that's kind of expected in a station like this. One thing that really stood out to me was how friendly and helpful people are. If you ask for help, they genuinely go out of their way, which made navigating way less stressful. Overall, it's pretty easy to find your way, but it's so big that you can def get a little lost. It also has direct access to the subway, which is super convenient. One tip: if you buy the 18-minute ticket to the airport, double check exactly what you're being sold and make sure you keep your copy. The tours & ticket booth (near McDonald's) sold us the wrong ticket and we weren't able to use it nor get refunded, which was really disappointing.

With many signs with are both in Swedish & English, but can be abit confused. I got lost on first time here trying to find the right platform but from second day and on, easy and understood the layout and how it functions. Very beautiful central with both modern and mixed oldies. Very big and spacious with plenty of shops, snacks and others. I used this station as my commute to and from the city to and from where I stayed while in Sweden. Enjoys the transportation here a lot, easy and right on time and cheap too. No hassle with driving and traffic nor parking.

It feels so new, it took 18 minutes and we didn't need to bother with an Uber or taxi. They list the max speed at 200 km/hr (!!!) but we only saw it get as high as 170km/hr on the digital board on the train (which is another cool feature). Still, that's an impressive speed for an AirPort Express train! Loved the cool benches at the airport stations too. Rock on, Sweden!

OK, like many these days, I am watching my money. And coming in from the Stockholm airport,…read moreespecially if you have a monthly pass, it is cheaper to take the bus to Marsta and then the commuter train. But that takes longer and boy was it crowded yesterday. I had already contacted Arlanda Express because I will not be turning on my phone here. Why pay for all those telemarketers to annoy me. I'm older and accessing these QR codes scare me and I wanted to know if I could get a paper ticket. Yes but only here at the machines in Stockholm. Arlanda Express is quick to respond to your questions. This is the only way to go if you are jetlagged because of delayed and cancelled flights. There are 3 stops. Two at the airport and one at Central Station. Your other choice, the commuter train, can and yesterday was, packed like sardines. We couldn't even make it out the door and had to go to the next step and circle back. We are very familiar with Stockholm but you will find, for us non Swedish speakers, that the commuter train announcements and stations are worded slightly different than expected. Plus you have to walk to get it and walk and wait at the train station whereas Arlanda Express is right there AT the airport. It was COLD yesterday. On the return trip, I am spending the extra money for a more predictable trip. 18 minutes from Central Station. There are discounts for 2 or more paying normal price. Cheaper than a cab or ride share. And cheaper than an overnight stay at an airport hotel. But keep in mind that it only goes to Stockholm Central. That is fine if you are staying nearby. But even if you arent, Central Station has all the very good subway lines to transfer to. We were going to Sodermalm and I thought my initial commuter train was smart because once I got on it, it would take me to the part of town that I was staying, cheaper. At 24 hours awake, I have now learned to spend the extra few bucks on the faster less confusing option.

It is an underground station beneath the Odenplan plaza in the Vasastaden district. The station opened in 1952 and has been expanded and remodeled extensively since then, as recently as 2017. As stations go, it seemed easy to negotiate though this was the terminus for our trip and it's easy enough to find escalators up to the surface. Nearby is the massive Gustaf Vasa Church, the Observatorielunden with the Stockholm Observatory and our destination, the Stockholm Public Library. For the metro, the station is on the Green line where Lines 17, 18 and 19 converge and run together. The next station north is St. Eriksplan towards Åkeshov / Alvik / Hässelby strand. The next station south is Rådmansgatan towards Skarpnäck / Farsta strand / Hagsätra. The ticketing concourse has the usual turnstiles and automated vending machines. The station was quite clean and organized. Easy to negotiate. [Review 18724 overall - 58 in Sweden - 2247 of 2022.]

There will be commuter train access around the 10th of July so that will make this station even more of a hub. So, it's an efficient station so 4 stars it is.

My only gripe about this particular location, is that the station itself unlike other locations was not clean, and more to the point, the customer Service was just deplorable. Tickets need to be purchased prior to getting on public transportation. In planning to go to different locations, I had asked if it was possible to purchase an extended pass or additional tickets. I was told no, only to discover on the other end of the journey, that I absolutely could have and should have purchased the extended pass.

The platforms do seem clean and modern but I do feel they do a really bad job regarding showing where to wait for your train Ie) I was waiting for service into Solna and there was no signs or any organisation to say the doors will open at the front/end of the platform, or even which platforms to go to (they all seemed to be accessed by different lifts) This was quite concerning as I was already running late and I didn't know where to go, with the staff above the platforms being unhelpful and the platforms themselves being unstaffed. It does have level access here to board the train even though there might be a slight gap at other stations so that is a bonus, considering this and the fact the station is pretty modern and clean and due to its location within Central Station and being close to T-Centrallen too, you can easily continue your journey around Stockholm and even the world (Considering the Arlanda Express runs into the Airport from adjacent Stockholm Centraal Station). 2*
