I have used them exclusively (minus specialists such as sports rehab, surgeons, etc.), and have persuaded my family and friends to do likewise. They all like it as well. Please also note that this is a "teaching" practice, meaning that before you see the "actual" doctor, you will probably see a student finishing their residencies (I have seen the same at my regular doctor, if only a little less frequently). If this doesn't work for you, you could probably ask to see Dr. Vollersten specifically. He knows his stuff, and if he doesn't (against, speaking of area specialists), he will let you know and refer you to only the best. Their walk-in care is always prompt, their staff is always friendly, and the doctors/residents are knowledgeable and helpful. The only problems I have had were with a bill, but that ended up being an issue with my insurance company. Note that if you have questions about a bill from MD Care, you need to call during their regular working hours (M-F, 9-5 I believe). I highly recommend MD Care, especially if you need to see a doctor on short notice.

Well, i recently became very ill and have been diagnosed with lupus and two blood disorders. My doctors here were curious if I had any previous symptoms. I wrote a letter to Dr Nemec asking him if he would be so kind as to check if he had the time. I told him I understood if he didn't because doctors are very busy and I haven't been a patient of his for some time. He sent me back the nicest letter! Checked what he could and said he is having more of my files checked. Just the fact he took a little look and took the time to write me a response made me very happy. I mean, who does that? A doctor with a good bedside manner, that's who.

Dr Easley did not focus on the follow-up from the ER visit and decided to put in my diagnosis that I had high cholesterol. I had been diagnosis with this in 2017 and was presently being treated. The workers comp insurance denied this claim due to this diagnosis and now North Memorial wants to charge me for the co-pay, which with workers comp injury, my co pay should be zero. Should never have been put thru my private insurance.

I chose to leave my original care provider at 41 weeks and two days and I was terrified! Suddenly this crucial time turned into a search for a midwife who would care for me as if she had been there from day one. Shawn did just that and more. She truly listened to my fears and concerns; and my serious desire for a natural labor and delivery, despite my doubts. Both my husband and I felt safe, comfortable and important to her during prenatal appointments and labor/delivery. It was so clear we were more than a job for her--our family's health and happiness was her priority. She replaced any uncertainties I had with confidence, in a beautiful and supportive environment. Shawn found her niche in this world. Her passion for pregnancy, family and natural childbirth is easy to see through her experience, knowledge and personable approach.
