Brutal experience with endless gruling scans and no breaks, no freedom to move in room, no water,…read moreno food, etc. Most of the night it was screaming and hollering and something security should have addressed but the next morning I left for more reasons than being wiped out as a guinnea pig test person, poor security and noise control, terrible response for lights, waiting in a small brick hard transport chair for hours in the ER waiting room then 2.5 days just to get an actual room. Mercy seldom has rooms available so odds are after a couple days you'll get transferred over to unity campus. Oh sure foods great if you are allowed to eat anything! Never again, this morning I hit the road doctor or no doctor just pull the IV and heart monitor collection of wires and get me OUT OF HERE! Never again! Even the noise in the parking lot at night was not acceptable! My mom and best friend and even more people I know went into unity and died on location. Ya darn good reason to hit the road! Doctors are not kings and have to tune down their egos a tad and quit treating people like lab rats, subject to endless testing on machines that go "BING". LIve and learn I guess but unity is OFF my bucket list like forever!

The staffing was beyond horrible. They were completely complacent to it. There are such things as traveling nurses, agency nurses, I have worked hospitals 15 years and 3-4 hour waits when only 7 patients is completely unacceptable. I still haven't been seen. Incorrect diagnosis carried over from other charting system the staff couldn't explain a code. 4 incorrect medications in past lists. To the staff defense, when they explained a total of 8 ER beds and 5 are what are called boarders, bc they don't have the beds to admit the patients. That leaves 3 beds for 7 patients who have been here over 4-6 hours. Update to review, when I finally saw a physician, he listened and made good recommendations. The nurse was very good. Unfortunately, through no fault of Allina the medication I was sent home with and I thought I had a Zofran script to pick up but no CVS didnt have it. By evening, I had hoped for the best and ended up, I will never joke about the term "code brown" with the nurse as I did which was a term we used it use when I worked Abbott, bc I spent almost sick hours vomiting and with diarrhea couldn't even keep water down, which ended up destroying bedding and will end up costing me several hundred all bc I didn't have a $4 script to take with my pain medication. Grateful I finally got the pain management I needed and most of all for my primary doctor, Allina still hasn't listed in my chart, phoned in a Zofran script this am.

My nurse and doctor were kind but seemed like they wanted to get rid of me fast despite my VERY ER…read moreworthy condition. The hospital overall is ghetto. There was a guy yelling over the public phone in the lobby saying "You have 10 minutes", quite worrisome. Another guy was escorted out of the ER with two police men. The hospital itself did not feel safe and welcoming.
