The movers were nice and polite but were slow. Very,very slow. It took them 5 hours to load, way, way over the estimated 3.5 hour time. I asked them to pick up the pace as it was taking way too long and dark outside. By the time they left my total time was 9 hours and 50 minute. I paid more than twice what I was quoted. Do yourself a favor and hire another local moving company.

I've moved several times in Greenville and never had a move go so smoothly. They even helped assemble my furniture in the new house. I was worried having to go between the 3 places, but Kyle and his crew did an excellent job. Kyle recommended color coding the tape on the boxes and it worked like a charm. Was even going to come over before to help me judge the size of a Uhaul we would need but I had decided we would be fine with a 20 foot before that. And, that is where the good review ends because that is when my nightmare begins. Two men showed up 10 mins late, very polite, very mannerly. Walked the house with me as I explained I was running a little behind schedule but this is what I wanted done while I finished packing. My husband stayed with them to "supervise" the packingof the truck. The two men were moving so slow my husband started helping to load the boxes. They were carrying one box at a time. I am talking about apple boxes filled with YARN ... one box at a time! About an hour into the job, Kyle showed up to help the two other men do the job, perhaps he was having a bad day but he was extremely rude and condescending in the way he spoke to my husband. They stood still for about 15 minutes as Kyle discussed doing other jobs that day for more money. There were no tools or dollies until Kyle showed up. When my husband asked how much it was for them to stay longer as they had hardly made a dent in anything they were asked to do, my husband was informed they were not able to stay because they had other moves scheduled that day. I had returned from an errand just as they were leaving, unaware of the lack of work, and was asked by Kyle was I going to pay by check or cash. I paid by cash because I had already closed my checking account. $150.00 for two hours. I paid him and they were gone so fast I didn't even see their smoke! I was so angry when I saw what was left behind to still do, my husband and I would have been there till the wee hours for the morning finishing when we were supposed to be on the road by 1:00 pm! I called Uhaul back and told them of my problems and how upset I was and they recommend another company that came $19.99 an hour per person, I had a two man team that within two hours had the wholetruck packed AND all the garbage, empty boxes, and any whatnots removed. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Moving is stressful enough, and putting your trust in someone and depending on them during this time is hard enough. I feel like I was deceived and taken advantage of, something I really didn't need right now on top of everything else I am facing.
