The guys moving a whole ass fridge like it's no big deal.
    Landen Y.

We have used these guys for two moves now, and I can't say enough good things about them! Once you hit your late 30's, it's time to quit soliciting your friends to come over for an unpleasant day of moving all of your stuff from one house to another and just hire movers. And Tiger Moving are the right guys to call. Save yourself the headache and backaches, and just hang out while these young bucks do all of the heavy lifting. They are very personable, hard working, and efficient. They show up on time, and make the most out of all the space they have in their moving truck to make sure that they only have to make one trip if possible. Hopefully, Kat and I won't have to move again any time soon, but if we do, I know who to call. So no joke, call these folks, let them do all the heavy lifting, and save your back and the backs of your buddies. Nobody wants a ruptured disc in exchange for whatever dinner and beer you provide for helping them. Sure, you might spend somewhere in the neighborhood of $700-$1,000 bucks, but you can afford it if you just bought a house in this market. Tiger Moving is simply the best.

I have had a move scheduled for a month with this company and I had spoken to them multiple times during the past month. At no time did they tell me they wanted to do a "walkthrough" of my apartment prior to this move. I was also assured by them they would not try to change anything last minute. The night before the move, I received a text from them asking if they could delay my start time by 30-45 minutes because the move they were doing was lasting longer than they expected. I thought it was odd to inconvenience me just to get an extra 30 minutes of rest (unprofessional and immature) when I was specifically told they would not change anything last minute. I said I was ok with it as long as it was not delayed any further. Full disclosure on my part is that I have two cats, one of them is a tri-pod who is allergic to cat litter (it makes his paw pads raw when he steps on it) so I have to lay down a rug for him to use as his bathroom area. The apartment that I am moving out of is fully carpeted which does not mix well with my cat's issues, which is one of the reasons I am moving to a different apartment. When I took up his rug minutes before the movers arrived, there was some leakage in one spot of one room in the apartment. When the two young boys arrived from Tiger Moving, they didn't seem polite, accommodating, or like they wanted to be there at all. After only 5 minutes of being there, they went outside for ten minutes then one of them came back in to say because they didn't do a walkthrough prior to the move they didn't know they need the proper PPE "for this kind of environment with toxins in the air". Which is ridiculous, the small area the issue was confined to was not near any furniture and there was no issue anywhere else in my large, two-bedroom apartment. It was clear to me that they were tired and lazy kids that worked too hard the day before and were looking for any excuse to cancel the move which is costing me several hundred dollars to stay in my apartment for an extra couple of days until a reputable moving company can do the job this weekend. I am a professional woman. I am not a hoarder and I do not keep a "toxic living environment". I just have a cat whom I love, and he has some issues that I do my best to deal with. I have two jobs, and this was a severe inconvenience. Of course, what do these kids care? They need to grow up and learn about ethical responsibility if they want to have a successful and reputable business. I have attached a photo of the one affected area.

Having to redo a poor packing job after paying professionals to do so.

Update 2: The manager called me today to apologize for our inconvenience. He was genuinely understanding and compassionate to this 8 month pregnant woman. I will use Tiger Moving again when it's time to move in to our new home. Update: the second time around using Tiger Moving was not as great as the first. Our POD door wouldn't shut and after looking in the POD, it looks like our furniture was just thrown in the POD. There was a huge gap in the middle and they didn't secure even with rope as I requested. I purchased rope because POD recommends securing every four feet. My coffee table was thrown on the couch, which would ruin the couch after months In storage. Needless to say, being 8 months pregnant and having to undo and repack the pod correctly is extremely frustrating after paying professionals to do it right. I would've rather them stay longer and pack right than to pack the way they did today. Scheduling: we only needed movers because we were using a POD. We originally scheduled the movers ($90/hour with 2 hour minimum) to come on a Wednesday. I called again to reschedule to Tuesday, and then again at last minute on Sunday. They were really accommodating with rescheduling. I was told it's easier to reschedule guys if not using their truck. First trip: Jerry and Jose. Guys were power horses and put in 3 1/2 hours loading a 16ft pod. They packed our pod tightly. We were only able to fit about 1/3 of our house in the POD, so we had to reschedule another date for moving - no fault of theirs. We had 30 minutes left to spare, so the guys brought everything downstairs per my request. Both guys were pleasant and hard working. My neighbors across the street were also moving, but using different movers. Every time I looked at my neighbors' movers I noticed they were moving at a snails pace and sometimes chillaxing. I was so pleased to see Tiger Moving hustling the entire time. 2nd trip: Jerry and Jeremy were our movers. This trip they were able to fill our 16ft POD in 1 1/2hours. The last 30 minutes they broke down furniture and moved boxes I wanted relocated. I overheard them talking about being bummed about not having another job for the day. I love to hear people passionate about wanting to work more instead of complaining about working. Both experiences with Tiger Moving have been great. I will update with the quality of packing when we unload. Hoping my furniture will arrive in tact and not scratched and beat up. Thanks guys!

Special pictures they crushed....so much damage, we are still finding broken things.

Only hire these guys if you don't care how damaged your stuff is when it arrives. They were sooo unprofessional and sketchy. If I could have watched them pack all my stuff I would have but we had a big house. After we arrived and noticed all the damage these movers caused, they were terrible to get any claims paid. If you hire them, you must not care about anything you own.

    Damage from improper loading

Booking was easy. Movers were friendly. Thought all was well until unloading the truck at my new location and realized the movers hadn't use the supplied couch protector that I repeatedly asked them to use. My white fabric couch was left exposed to the bare floor of the truck. Who knows what they were thinking. FWIW, did decline the higher insurance option upfront and afterwards they did offer to pay a portion of the cleaning costs (less than half).

Things seemed to go well, until I saw that my linoleum was damaged.

I am updating my review to say that we did get this issue resolved. Just make sure you understand what's covered under their insurance, link on their website, but in the end I'm a satisfied customer. Things seemed to go well, until I saw that my linoleum was ripped by the washing machine. They were friendly & we were talking the whole time, so I assumed they would have let me know if something was damaged. I sent messages immediately via text and email with no response at all. I waited 10 days to post this. No response but they cashed my check today!

This mover was terrible. They came highly really by three of my friends so I was excited to use them with good results. They complained about moving heavy furniture, broke glass, and as you can see damaged several pieces of furniture and the walls. I talked to the GM and he said I should not be upset.

Right away I got good vibes just by speaking to the owner over the phone. He ask me what size unit I had and where it was going. Then gave me a flat moving rate that I approved of. On moving day I had some issues getting my apartment so I was 15min late to the unit. They were nice enough to patiently wait until I arrived. Moving started at 1pm with the help of another guy they went straight to work. They moved my stuff from the storage to the truck in like a hour. Which I was surprised because the company who moved me to my storage had three people and took way more time then that. I was so pleased because everything was finally going right. When they got to the apartment they immediately got to unloading everything. They even chatted with me a lot as we discussed my new apartment and how I could had gotten a better rate elsewhere. (if only I knew them sooner) They were really friendly which is what southern hospitality is all about. What I expected to be a scary situation turned out to be a win overall. Thanks to you two men who took your time, strength, and honesty when it came to my move/rate. I will definitely recommend people your way including me using you again. Another guy then tried to tell me that it was an "IT issue" with their central office, not their fault so they couldn't do anything. Through trying to complain about this issue, I was connected back to them and spoke to somebody else. This time his excuse was that a "truck broke down" after I scheduled my move. I do not believe a single one of their ever-shifting excuses. Sure, they're giving me my deposit back and "taking responsibility", but none of that helps me when I have to be out of my place in less than a week. He just kept insisting that someone else can do it (and would not listen when I told him that I did the legwork already and that wasn't true). Do not book with this awful, scam of a company. We ended up calling the police I was given a time between 11-4 for arrival of movers. They didn't show up until 6. They started packing all of our small stuff first and left our big furniture until last. This resulted in big furniture not being packed on the truck "because they ran out of time" I was willing to pay more to get them to load the rest and when I booked this, this did tell me I could pay for additional hours. But no- since they started on small stuff so they left me on my own with several heavy items I could not lift on my own. They also ruin our floors and packed our leather couch without wrap. Moving is stressful and they made it nightmare. I have long list of other things I could say.
