Stay away from Tiger Moving. This was the worst move I've ever experienced. I hired them to move me locally and was quoted an estimated price which was fine. Quote was great. The movers were nice and polite but were slow. Very,very slow. It took them 5 hours to load, way, way over the estimated 3.5 hour time. I asked them to pick up the pace as it was taking way too long and dark outside. By the time they left my total time was 9 hours and 50 minute. I paid more than twice what I was quoted. All my wood furniture has dings and deep gouges in the wood. This is an unprofessional company because they don't wrap all the wood furniture with blanket, so you end up with damaged furniture after the move. All they can say is "I'm sorry." They arrived at the pickup point right on time at 9:00 am and arrived at the delivery point around eleven and had the bed offloaded and set up and were gone by 11:30. We have used Tiger Moving three times. We have been pleased with their dedication and work ethic. On this last move the crew misplaced the hardware to a unique bed. After a couple of inquiries there was no resolution. Since the specific hardware could not be replaced, after much diligence and a bit of luck we were able to find a substitute. It did require some modifications to the bed however. I recommend that if you use Tiger Moving, or any mover for that matter, be sure to verify that all hardware is bagged and tagged for easy retrieval when needed. read more

I have had a move scheduled for a month with this company and I had spoken to them multiple times during the past month. At no time did they tell me they wanted to do a "walkthrough" of my apartment prior to this move. I was also assured by them they would not try to change anything last minute. The night before the move, I received a text from them asking if they could delay my start time by 30-45 minutes because the move they were doing was lasting longer than they expected. I thought it was odd to inconvenience me just to get an extra 30 minutes of rest (unprofessional and immature) when I was specifically told they would not change anything last minute. I said I was ok with it as long as it was not delayed any further. Full disclosure on my part is that I have two cats, one of them is a tri-pod who is allergic to cat litter (it makes his paw pads raw when he steps on it) so I have to lay down a rug for him to use as his bathroom area. The apartment that I am moving out of is fully carpeted which does not mix well with my cat's issues, which is one of the reasons I am moving to a different apartment. When I took up his rug minutes before the movers arrived, there was some leakage in one spot of one room in the apartment. When the two young boys arrived from Tiger Moving, they didn't seem polite, accommodating, or like they wanted to be there at all. After only 5 minutes of being there, they went outside for ten minutes then one of them came back in to say because they didn't do a walkthrough prior to the move they didn't know they need the proper PPE "for this kind of environment with toxins in the air". Which is ridiculous, the small area the issue was confined to was not near any furniture and there was no issue anywhere else in my large, two-bedroom apartment. It was clear to me that they were tired and lazy kids that worked too hard the day before and were looking for any excuse to cancel the move which is costing me several hundred dollars to stay in my apartment for an extra couple of days until a reputable moving company can do the job this weekend. I am a professional woman. I am not a hoarder and I do not keep a "toxic living environment". I just have a cat whom I love, and he has some issues that I do my best to deal with. I have two jobs, and this was a severe inconvenience. Of course, what do these kids care? They need to grow up and learn about ethical responsibility if they want to have a successful and reputable business. I have attached a photo of the one affected area. read more

Update 2: The manager called me today to apologize for our inconvenience. He was genuinely understanding and compassionate to this 8 month pregnant woman. I will use Tiger Moving again when it's time to move in to our new home. Update: the second time around using Tiger Moving was not as great as the first. Our POD door wouldn't shut and after looking in the POD, it looks like our furniture was just thrown in the POD. There was a huge gap in the middle and they didn't secure even with rope as I requested. I purchased rope because POD recommends securing every four feet. My coffee table was thrown on the couch, which would ruin the couch after months In storage. Needless to say, being 8 months pregnant and having to undo and repack the pod correctly is extremely frustrating after paying professionals to do it right. I would've rather them stay longer and pack right than to pack the way they did today. Scheduling: we only needed movers because we were using a POD. We originally scheduled the movers ($90/hour with 2 hour minimum) to come on a Wednesday. I called again to reschedule to Tuesday, and then again at last minute on Sunday. They were really accommodating with rescheduling. I was told it's easier to reschedule guys if not using their truck. First trip: Jerry and Jose. Guys were power horses and put in 3 1/2 hours loading a 16ft pod. They packed our pod tightly. We were only able to fit about 1/3 of our house in the POD, so we had to reschedule another date for moving - no fault of theirs. We had 30 minutes left to spare, so the guys brought everything downstairs per my request. Both guys were pleasant and hard working. My neighbors across the street were also moving, but using different movers. Every time I looked at my neighbors' movers I noticed they were moving at a snails pace and sometimes chillaxing. I was so pleased to see Tiger Moving hustling the entire time. 2nd trip: Jerry and Jeremy were our movers. This trip they were able to fill our 16ft POD in 1 1/2hours. The last 30 minutes they broke down furniture and moved boxes I wanted relocated. I overheard them talking about being bummed about not having another job for the day. I love to hear people passionate about wanting to work more instead of complaining about working. Both experiences with Tiger Moving have been great. I will update with the quality of packing when we unload. Hoping my furniture will arrive in tact and not scratched and beat up. Thanks guys! read more

Booking was easy. Movers were friendly. Thought all was well until unloading the truck at my new location and realized the movers hadn't use the supplied couch protector that I repeatedly asked them to use. My white fabric couch was left exposed to the bare floor of the truck. Who knows what they were thinking. It was a hottttttt day so i felt for them but they got in done in 3.3 hours. Just two guys . They communicate well with each other and were very professional. I'm happy that I waited a week on the review. I was pretty angry last week when they moved us. Our furniture is a mixture of well loved family pieces and some inexpensive stuff from target. A glass table top from a coffee table made by my husband's grandfather was shattered. $100 from our total was deducted to cover it. They accidentally forgot some shelves to a bookcase that was handmade by a family friend. We also had a number of inexpensive Target bookcases damaged. The missing shelves and a check for the damage showed up today. The communication has been great! My only problem is part of their advertising. When we used them 3 years ago, 3 sweet, polite college kids showed up. They were pleasant. They weren't professional movers, but they did a great job. They advertise "clean cut" movers. I don't really care who shows up to move my stuff, but if you're advertising "clean cut" movers I'm not expecting guys vaping with full sleeves and neck tattoos. The guys were nice. I didn't mind it, but I can definitively imaging a prudish person having an issue with it. I'm not sure if I'd hire again, but I'm hoping to not need to move for awhile. read more

I previously used Tiger Moving about a year ago, and had a great experience but this last time was a disaster. Being prior military I have moved a lot, so I had everything labeled where I wanted it in the new house; they either ignored the labels or cannot read. It took them close to an hour to get my brand new refrigerator out of the old house, and in doing so they banged and scratched up the doors to my brand new fridge! They broke some keepsakes my kids had packed in a box, and tore up the freshly painted door jams in the new house. They dropped and banged my kids metal bunk bed on the newly refinished floors, that I told them to be careful on. They didn't move an entire closet at the old house that I had packed up, of course it has some of the heaviest boxes in it. They made a very stressful time even worse. Thanks for nothing. read more

I have never used movers before. This was my 3rd move in six months and I had already cashed in all my friends points so I figured I'd hire some pros to get the job done. Jeremy and Mickey were my movers this weekend and I was impressed. I have a small one bedroom apartment that is up two flights of stairs and wedged in a corner. We had major trouble getting furniture in during my last move so I was concerned there's be trouble moving out. They made it look so simple! I know Jeremy was feeling under the weather (I felt awful for the guy, I could tell he was in a bad way) but he still powered through. Mickey was an absolute superstar! I was very impressed by how quickly he got the job done. I could tell he was exhausted but he wanted to get the job done quickly and efficiently. As one of my movers was unwell, I did get a generous discount for the move. However I would 100% use them again for my next move. They made everything look so simple. Fast and efficient. read more

I hired this company based on the recommendation of a friend. They provided a quote based on a series of questions they emailed to me. I answered the questions with the caveat that I thought they should come look at the house and it's contents. They provided a range of cost since it's all hourly based, which is normal and understandable. We physically moved 70% of the normal sized boxes ourselves the week prior, all that was left was the garage, 30% of the boxes and the large furniture items. The crew showed up, they were friendly, the leader was the only one who seemed to have any drive. The other 3 could usually be found standing around waiting to be told what to do next. We get to the end of the day and they hand me a bill for double the top end of the range. They quoted 400 to 700, and wanted 1,300. I wrote the check, called the office to try to discuss a solution with someone, they never called back. I wouldn't hire them again and I wouldn't recommend them. read more

The first time they moved us about 3 years ago they were fine. This time- pros- inexpensive, on time, quick. Cons- other than the fact that they were sloppy and didn't listen to where I wanted them to put furniture, our neighbor's lawn was damaged by the truck. After calling the company Monday to get it fixed we did not hear anything all week. I called again Friday then got a text back from someone saying they'd fix it. My neighbor saw them going to get grass clippings from a pile across the street and stuffing it into the hole...... Not good. This is a professionally landscaped yard. We moved 6 weeks ago. We are disappointed in the lack of follow up as well as the way they have handled this. So far I have dissuaded about 4 families from using them and will continue to do so until the issue is fixed. read more

We hired four men to make recent move. The day was super humid, and blistering hot and the guys were very professional and worked really hard and efficiently while sweating profusely. Good polite communication skills were in use all day with no complaining heard ! There was an hourly rate from start to finish and a seperate add on cost per mile rate for the truck which ive never seen before with movers I've hired in the past for local moves, but I don't move much, so maybe that's a new thing ?
