First of all I came to this dentist for implants upper, Dr K talked me into doing the lowers too. When I was getting fitted for the denture the other dentist, I forget his name had glued them in my mouth and wouldn't come out. So they had to drill them out which hurt like hell with just novocain! I cried it hurt so bad. Sent me home with pain pills and gauze for the bleeding. This is a bad job for I didn't expect this to happen. I went here for my regular cleaning and was taken in for X-rays moments after I checked in. Jose was informative and efficient. The dentist came in shortly after and was personable and informative. Really wish I could give a zero star review. This office doesn't deserve a 1 star. The first time I went, my wait time was over 45 minutes. I saw the dentist for less than 5 minutes. He was short and I didn't even get a cleaning. I then had to come back a week later for my cleaning and the hygienist was unnecessarily rough. I floss three times a day and was told my teeth were in great condition and very clean. However, the hygienist was so rough that my gums were bleeding for the remainder of the day, and sore for a few days after. Also, the equipment was not in great shape and looked dirty. I will definitely not be returning to this office and would never suggest it to anyone. read more

Went in for biannual teeth cleaning. X-rays went fine, the hygienist started off fine but never finished! She completely ignored my back lower teeth. I had a dental routine cleaning done. Suki was very gentle and noticed an area that appeared to be inflamed. She called in a doctor to check it out and it was a crown that was having inflammation surrounding it. it turned out that I had an allergic reaction to the surrounding tissue of the crown. I was thankful that she caught it and brought it to the attention of the doctor. I had a dental cleaning with Yuki. Nice, gentle care. She is kind and funny. I always feel well taken care of with her. I also had my yearly checkup with the dentist. I have 6 teeth that need to go, so they worked up a plan for me with itemized billing to replace them piece by piece. I can't afford to have this done, but it was awfully nice of them to create that estimate for me. Looking towards medical tourism to maybe someday replace those teeth at a less crazy amount. 25k is a lot if you are disabled, can't work, and can't even get SSI because that process takes over 3 years because they want you to die before they have to actually care for you. read more

Went for my annual cleaning and was most pleasantly surprised. Ziad took my X-rays and was incredibly kind and professional. Then I had an exam by Dr. Elmore who was patient, caring and considerate. The last part of my visit was the cleaning, which was performed by Lazarus, who did quite an extensive and through job. I was able to get an appointment with only a one day wait. The phone was answered immediately by a real person who could book my appointment. When I arrived the wait was just a few minutes, and after a friendly greeting I was ushered into the office. X-rays were taken efficiently and explained along the way, then the doctor came in for the exam of my throbbing tooth. This particular office does not offer an endodontist so I had to get a referral. That's unfortunate. This office is spotlessly clean, cheerful and high tech and I would willingly see an endodontist at this location. read more

I give dentist Arturo Silva and assistant Griselda ten raging stars with no second thoughts. I travel an extra 10 miles to go to Friendly Smiles Dental and I don't regret it whatsoever. Word to the wise: do not EVER waste your time with Western Dental. Friendly Smiles blows them out of the water so outrageously that I would drive an extra 20 miles each way for the massive difference in quality of service, skill and proficiency of their entire staff from front to back, office cleanliness and organization (impeccable!), friendliness (of course!) and superb management + teamwork. They treat the patient better than any other dentist I've been to. Do NOT waste your time with Western Dental. Drive the extra miles -- it is WELL worth it!
