Came here for a cold drink and dessert after walking over the Hudson bridge. So glad we came! The owner (Cheryl? Sorry, I forgot the names so fast with my bad memory) and store manager were very friendly and welcoming. They allowed my two dogs in the store on a hot day! The halo halo was delicious and the peach coconut matcha drink was even more delicious! We will highly recommend everyone to stop by to look around their store and have a sweet treat!

This store is full of great little surprises. I thought my wife and I were just stopping in for a Bubble Tea and ended up staying for the BBQ Chicken and Quack Quack (deep fried quail eggs). If you haven't guessed this store is a Filipino based store in small town America which brings a lot of charm and life to this little town of highland. You can't leave here without singing one karaoke song because that's what you do when your hanging out wit Filipinos. The food was very delicious The Bubble teas are great and the owners feed you like your own mother did when you were a kid. No need to travel to the Philippines when you can come here and let the culture rub off on you. I'll be back here and hope to meet more new friends here.

Huge selection of bubble teas so you can mix and match tea flavors, tapioca and jellies. They have halo halo too which is delicious. Service does take some time but it is worth the wait!

Me and all my friends love everything we've ever got from there

Best bubble tea around! Better than most shops in the city and the staff was very friendly and warm. Highly recommend the Taro!

Also let me tell you, this place price are way cheaper they bubble tea places in my area. Definitely a plus for that. The strawberry bubble tea with strawberry pop was refreshing and delicious, definitely worth the trip on a warm spring day traveling.

I liked that they don't load it up with ice. I hate when they do that (looking at you Starbucks !). The taste was super light but it was refreshing and dairy free. Hubs got the coconut one and that was really good! It's mostly coconut which is great but they add evaporated milk which is why I went with the fruit tea. If they would make it dairy free I would be ALL OVER IT! The taste I had was super yummy. I am so happy to have a boba place near home and I hope they have great success!!! I think next time I'll talk to them about making that coconut drink completely dairy free, it was much better than what I ordered. The women at the counter were super nice and friendly. Their service is great. The shop is cute and super clean. I hope they get in some gifts and snacks. I also like to support local

I particularly enjoyed the Vassar noodle bowl, which featured chewy noodles in a coconut milk curry sauce (allegedly Malaysian, more Malaysian "inspired") with BBQ pulled pork on top!! I would never have thought to combine these two ingredients, but they work beautifully together. It's a very warm and comforting dish, and the mint, cilantro, and radish garnish helps provide a bit of contrast. I liked the sour cream drizzle on top, too. I feel like this dish could really be fantastic if they adjusted the thickness and amount of curry sauce (the noodles are swimming in it like a soup) and provided more herbs and radishes on top. It could also benefit from a crispy topping to provide textural contrast. I've had other things from here that I've liked, but that weren't anything special. Like the Malaysian curry, their chicken tikka masala sauce also has a very runny texture, instead of the thicker richer sauces I've had elsewhere. And their bao buns are honestly not worth buying, since they have no hoisin sauce or creamy aioli/slaw element that binds together the rather dry meat, pickle slices, and scallions in each bun. They seem to exclusively be a grab and go kind of place, which makes sense to me as it's in a college town. Inside it's small and rather bleak, without any kind of decoration and not much seating. They take a pretty long time to prepare orders too, so plan ahead in case you're in a hurry.
