Until I discovered CHIC BOUTIQUE--life changing! The inventory of beautiful clothes is so vast that I always walk out of there with a minimum of 2 shopping bags, (which is unheard of for me if I shop elsewhere-- I don't even like to shop!!) The owners have a great eye and buy beautiful garments to stock in their lovely boutique. But even beyond that, it's the high-touch customer service that keeps me coming back to this spot. The 2 ladies who run the store are exceptional. They give just the right amount of service: not too much where you feel like they're pushing you to buy something, but enough that they're always ON IT. They help you find things that would look great on you and they always take your armful of clothes to the dressing room so you don't have to schlep them around while you're browsing. It is the perfect amount of assistance. They also give honest feedback in the dressing room ranging from: "That looks amazing on you!", to "Nope. I don't love it. Here, give it to me, I'll put it back for you."; so there is no hard-sell with this shopping experience. I honestly feel like I have my own personal assistant whenever I shop there. They are truly a delight to work with and they have helped me SO much. The experience is so wonderfully atypical that I don't even bother to shop anywhere else anymore. This is my one and only go-to place because it's that successful, every time. Ask for Meredith or Andrea when you go and I'm sure they'll make your experience exceptional like they do for everyone. CHIC BOUTIQUE is a rare find. And I never take the time to write a review, but these 2 ladies really do deserve the props.

I placed many pieces of jewelry on consignment with a Palm Beach store operating as "Shop Sixty…read moreFive," managed by the owner. At the outset, I was not permitted to fully document the items on-site and instead had to photograph them and submit documentation afterward. We had a signed agreement stating that I would be paid every two weeks (with a five-day grace period), along with a 1.5% monthly penalty (or the maximum allowed under Florida law) for late payments. Unfortunately, this agreement was not honored. Despite repeated requests, I received incomplete and inconsistent sales information--often only partial item numbers with no descriptions or pricing--making it difficult to determine what had been sold. Payments, when made, were sporadic, for small amounts, and did not match reported sales. Over time, I also spent significant effort requesting accurate accounting and payment, but received delays and explanations of financial hardship while items were reportedly sold above suggested retail. After several written attempts to resolve the situation, I requested that all remaining inventory be returned and that I receive full payment for sold items; however, this did not happen. I then informed her that I would be coming on a specific day and asked that she place each item in the individual bags and boxes I had originally provided, and prepare a complete inventory list so she could verify what was in her possession at that time and I could determine what was missing. This was not done. When I arrived with a third party, this was not done. I had to personally retrieve my items, and nothing was organized as requested. We were forced to locate and pack items ourselves, without proper accounting or documentation. My friend who accompanied me witnessed the entire interaction, including the statements made by the owner at that time that some items may have been used for a photoshoot and could be unaccounted for. Upon review, several items were missing and one of her "screenshot" invoices wasn't paid. Several times I sent her breakdowns of missing $1300. but she ignored my request for payment and I have not received the missing items or full payment. This experience involved significant time, lack of transparency, and failure to meet contractual obligations. I would strongly caution others considering consignment with this business.

I don't like to shop weekends when there are too many others shopping. Also, the use of the bathroom is discouraged, how unfortunate as this is an issue especially for mature clientele. I've always been permitted to use the rest room before trying on clothes. What poor business decision. Sun Seekers just few doors away are much more accomodating and gracious.
