I normally dread getting fillings because of the needles, the numbness, and holding my mouth open forever. Recently I saw Dr. Rahman at Frisco Dental Studio for my fillings, and it was hands down the best dental experience I have ever had. Dr. Rahman is literally a wizard when it comes to administering numbing medication, and his assistant Imani was incredible too. I did not feel a thing. I was so comfortable, I actually fell asleep during my fillings. Yes, asleep. During fillings. That has never happened to me in my life. I've overheard dental hygienist conversations guiding patients on things like hydration and electrolytes, preventing teeth discoloration, and even thoughtful education destigmatizing cold sores with younger patients. It feels like a healthcare environment, not just a transactional appointment. And most importantly -- the work itself is exceptional.
