Although I only attended here for 1 and a half years (junior-senior year) I will say this school is great. This is a new school and Frisco does a great job of keeping their class sizes small and keeping their schools at 4-5a. This is to give every student a great opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities. Also because Frisco is booming there's obviously an influx of schools, if you haven't noticed. Because of this they're in high demand for educators. So some of the teachers are on the younger side but there's also some veterans paving the way. When it comes to test scores and education Heritage is not only in the top rankings for the DFW but the whole state of Texas. So parents your students are in good hands! I feel like the teachers do a great job at college preparation but like I said I only attended here for a short amount of time so most of my knowledge was already instilled. Heritage operates on an A-B schedule (where you don't go to every class everyday but interchange every other day) this is so great to get used to how college schedules will be like! One negative thing that I experienced here was participating in softball. I pretty much loved everything about it except for the fact that my coach broke state rules with the amount of hours practicing. We'd practice twice a day totaling at least 4 hours a day. During season it was very straining with homework and maintaining a normal life. She received multiple warnings but never changed. There's also a required study hall that coaches have to do maybe once a week or at least once a month. We never did that. She is no long there but just make sure when your students are participating in sports that education takes priority! Other positives: clean school, clean bathrooms, personable staff Other negatives: sheltering/coddling students (not conducive for college), dress coding is over the top and borderline pervy, insistent that the mascot is called KY-OATS (coyotes) no let's speak proper English it's KY-O-TEES.

They had to close the bathrooms because of people doing dumb stuff. They also made these nasty ass passes which is paper and everybody and their whole family touches that nasty pass . These kids here are..... weird. It's suburban kids that try to act like they're from south Dallas and they're wanna be gangbangers.

The kids I have worked with are wonderful and always so respectful. The school seems to be kept in good condition. Parking can be difficult in the back lot by the gym if you're there when school lets out. The traffic flow isn't designed well. Overall a nice school!

It's been brought to my attention from many of the students that are currently attending in school…read moreclasses that there is a black flag with a blue stripe right as you enter the school. If the school officer likes it so much it should be put in his office. This flag is offensive to many and has no place in the school halls. Many students are unhappy with it being put in the halls, not cool at all and very inappropriate with what's going on right now.

They layout of the campus is beautiful. It is a 96 acre 5 building facility that looks much more like a junior college than a high school. It has duck ponds with fountains and walkways throughout the campus. At the time, I had never seen a high school quite like that. Today, there are some others with similar designs, but mostly it is still cutting edge for high school layouts. Most recently I was here for a fund raiser holiday bazaar they hold every year. The campus is still as beautiful as it ever was!

Raccoon Rally was a success; we appreciate everything the teachers and administrators do to make entering high school a positive experience. We have two other recent FHS graduates and they both cried on their last day of school, if that tells you anything about how great FHS is. (I literally ran from my school on the last day! Ha) Our older kids miss FHS and all the wonderful staff and teachers. It was a high-quality experience they will never forget.

We were looking for day care for our twins for 9 days due to work commitments. Found Sunshine…read morehouse of frisco through Bright Horizon and based on the google reviews went ahead and booked for the 9 days and completed the paperwork and dropped it off on the first day. Food : We selected no beef as kids don't really enjoy cheese burgers/hot dogs. But even on the pizza days they were served turkey hot dogs and most days kids would tell us they did not finish lunch. After first day, they were not served milk on any day. I would have written this review if not for the experience on 8/7. One of our daughter fell from the monkey bars on her left arm during the morning recess Teacher or administrative staff did not notify us about the injury or let us know once we went to pick her up in the afternoon around 2pm. My daughter ended up waiting 4 hrs in pain and was given icepack once in that 4hrs. We had to take her to urgent care to find out she had a buckle fracture in her arm and has to wear sling for 4 weeks and no activities for 6 weeks. Extremely unprofessional and negligent staff with zero accountability! I will never send or recommend anyone to use their service
