I love arriving at MSP early and browsing the stores at its shopping mall before my flight. It's a good airport to be at if you have a layover or just like to shop. I found Frivolous, which is my type of store. I like finding unique items for either myself or to give to others. This store had my heart. I probably was here for a good thirty minutes looking at everything. There was a mini accordion that brought memories of having a plastic one growing up. Although I didn't end up being Lawrence Welk's protege, it was great seeing that it was a fully functional mini accordion! I also liked the retro telephone and Spirograph. They both brought fond memories from my childhood. The plushies are extensive at this store. From pastel-coloured penguins to cute lambs, you can find everything here. I loved the fun kitchen items, from egg moulds to cockroach clips. The fried chicken erasers looked real. I hope that kids don't eat them! The soap varieties are fun and unique. The names killed me, such as stoners and hot messes. I was intrigued by the astrological pencils. I know exactly what to gift to my friends... haha! This store is such a gem at MSP airport. I hope to come back and buy stuff. It's the perfect place to get unique gifts for even the toughest gift recipient. (53)

Neat little gift shop in the shopping mall that is the MSP airport. All sorts of interesting trinkets and bits worth picking up and purchasing. Need a coffee mug with a rique saying on it? How about a bright red coffee pot? Coasters? Greeting cards? Wine rack? T-shirts? I managed to pick up a license plate that spelled out my wife's name. Because I suddenly needed exactly this.

One of the most fun stores I have ever seen. I picked up so many gifts-wish they had a catalogue or online store.

Stumbled across this boutique while walking past it as my friend and I were waiting for our movie…read moreat the Parkway Theater. It was a fun little impromptu shopping for us. There's a lot of fun gift ideas, but I will say the main items are geared towards children or women. I did find a shampoo bar I've been wanting, but was also browsing their cook books and candles. I found a new shop to consider when buying gifts for my two sisters. ‍ The staff were welcoming and nice and they talked up some of their chocolates at the checkout area. My friend purchased me a small chocolate that we enjoyed in the theater - they were right! Very good.

I snagged a seasonal ornament at 50% off and browsed for about an hour (could've easily stayed longer, but the rest of the day was calling). Such a cute boutique with tons of goodies! I absolutely loved ALL the jewelry. It's about a 30-minute drive from where I live, but it's definitely worth the trip, and hey, maybe I'll catch a movie too. The real icing on the cake was Julie. She was so pleasant and engaging and truly made me feel welcome. Great customer service is rare these days, and she nailed it-thank you, Julie! If you're in the area or looking for a fun little field trip, this place is a must. Everything is beautifully arranged: jewelry, candles, stationary & clothing, purses, and toys for kiddos. I'd say prices are normal for a boutique and the quality of everything is great. Plus, lots of unique finds. Side note- I was so zoned here that I completely forget to take photos.

Magnets, chocolates, photo frames, post cards, cards, puzzles, clothing, tumblers.... The list goes on. Minneso-tah.... I'm gonna give you guys a high five on the Spam merchandise! That just made me feel a little bit at home. Thank you for having that here hehe. It was a pleasant surprise. If you read this, treat yourself to a spam musubi. You'll love it. I bought a bunch of awesome things here! It was hard for me to let go of the things I bought and give them to family and friends. I wanted so desperately to keep everything for myself! So many cute and cool things! Maybe I'll pretend I didn't buy any souvenirs for anyone and hide them in my closet... Mwahaha Btw we loved the employee who helped us that day. Young, tall, handsome gentleman with curly hair. He was sweet and helpful! I learned a new life lesson: When in MN, do not refer to casserole as casserole. It's hotdish!
