This place has the best bagels around! The space is large and open with somewhat uncomfortable furniture, not terribly warm or cozy but nice enough if you're eating there. I generally just go for a bagel. This is where I get confused because it takes FOREVER for your order to come up. It's generally a 15+ minute wait for a toasted bagel with cream cheese and a black hot coffee. Nothing complicated. There is always a lot of help behind the counter so I don't get it, but as I said: good bagels, so I'll keep coming back! read more

Cute and clean little cafe in Dracut village square plaza. The staff always seem to be friendly and busy . Lots of healthy options which I really like. The only downside is that its quite expensive and the value isn't anything exceptional. I dont mind paying extra for healthy delicious options but dont feel like its worth it here. Ive been a couple times and nothing really blows me out of the water when it comes to taste. My wallet feels differently when it comes to price The green Mamba with A Scoop of froyo came to about $9.00. It tasted like frozen pineapples. Meh. Frobie's was legit in the first 1-2 years they were open, but it's gone significantly downhill. I used to be in here weekly, but I'd rather drive to Crack'd or Pressed for a more convenient and overall better experience in terms of food quality, order ahead or drive through options, and staff friendliness. They allow you to order ahead via phone only, so you still have to wait in the full line behind everyone ordering in the cafe. There are so many efficiencies they could introduce to improve the experience, but it doesn't appear anyone is paying much attention anymore. Their food is really good - my go to items are: Egg, Cheese, Bacon on English Muffin w/Avocado Berry Thing Smoothy Bowl Frogs (mini banana bread/chocolate chip muffins) You won't be disappointed in the food, but you will be disappointed in their service, the time it takes to get your food, and their overall lackadaisical approach to running the cafe read more

I stopped by Frobies out of pure curiosity. Its a huge cafe! There is plenty of seating there were quite a few patrons in there but it didn't even feel like it was at 50% capacity. Their menus are big, bright, and colorful which made it easy to choose. They had a large variety of smoothies along with coffees and juices. They also offered ice cream and a few baked goods (bagels, muffins, etc). I ended up ordering a mango pineapple smoothie and a banana chocolate chip muffin. The muffin was so cute and small and had a great punch of flavor to it. I wasn't as big of a fan of the smoothie however. I found it to be extremely thick, and while I like a decently thick smoothie...it was just a bit too much. Overall it was a good visit. I would say that while the staff was nice enough, it didn't feel like they were helpful. I think that would be a great point for training and they could really up-sell new customers like myself who was overwhelmed with the menu. Still a solid visit though! read more

I came here because I wanted to try a new breakfast place (especially one that offers gluten free items). The inside is a lot more clean and spacious than I imagined, making it a great spot for groups and families. I ordered a fresh juice which was delicious for the price! Also got an egg & cheese on a gluten free English muffin. The muffin was buttery, flaky, and moist and that is very surprising considering most gluten free breads fall apart and are dry. Prices are reasonable here as I got a sandwich and a drink for only $8. I have been to other cafes where I've paid up to $17 for basically the same thing. I will be back here for sure! read more

Yahoo!!! Finally we found a place outside of the city that can make the perfect cup of tea latte! That's right, the search is over folks (for this area)! And what made this experience even better, this was their first time making this drink! They were so friendly, accommodating and totally were open to making this beverage even though it wasn't on the menu. Earl Grey Tea Latte w/ Amaretto- Perfectly blended black tea with steamed milk and almond syrup. It's one of the most comforting beverages you can imagine. Warm and smooth, with a hint of bergamot. This is as delicious as it gets! Harvest Bagel with Eggs, Swiss Cheese & Bacon- You can mix and match your favorite bagels, meats, cheese and etc so I chose this combination and it was scrumptious. This place is easy to miss if you're passing through. They use window decals for their the store sign which it's hard to spot at a glance since they were blended with all their promotions and the fruit designs. I already gave a review but needed to add an additional comment on their new Lox Sandwich. Just like everything else to the coffees,smoothies, Egg sandwiches/burritos the Lox Sandwich is one of the best I have ever had!!!! The salmon does not have a hint of that fishy taste and has the right amount of smokiness to it. The dill and chive cream cheese pairs very well with eachother. I added red onions because I love the sweetness of them with the salmon. A+++++ on this one! read more

Great place to stop in for an awesome breakfast sandwich. Coffee is great with tons of variety. I have never had a bad cup, Regular, Iced, lattes, etc. Also definitely try out their smoothies seriously good stuff. WiFi works well and dining area atmosphere is great for a working lunch or quick lunch meeting with clients. This is a little gem of a cafe to have in Dracut. Bright, sunny decor, good espresso drinks and iced coffee, inexpensive and tasty baked goods, and a big selection of vegan/paleo/health food snacks, if you're into that sort of thing. Their smoothies are a little on the expensive side for the size of them, but tasty and very fresh, with lots of options to chose from for add ins. Service is fast and every time I go in with my kids, they're kind enough to bring my drink to my table while I was getting my little guy settled into a highchair, which wasn't something I was expecting them to do. Instead of calling my name at the pickup counter, the barista brought it over so kindly. My kids love their cookies and the banana nut bread is legit - moist and with serious banana flavor. Lots of seating, as well as a variety of types. Tables, couches, high stools along the window, plenty of high chairs. Lots to choose from and nice not to be crowded in like at most coffee shops. I love taking my kids in for a treat and me for a coffee treat and seeing all sorts of people from around town enjoying an easy morning there, it's got a great vibe. This was my favorite coffee shop in town: for three months my best friend and I went here every morning. Every morning I would get the same coffee: a large iced coffee with a flavor shot and half soy milk/half coffee and be charged $4.62. Most days I would also get a pastry or a bagel with avocado, jalapeños, and hummus (for a whopping $5 on top of the coffee). Although the prices were high and the shop was out of the way for me, my friend and I continued frequenting Frobies as loyal customers for months (we became on a first name basis with employees even and showed the shop to other friends). Supporting small business is important to me, but so is being treated with respect and consistency. This morning I ordered my regular coffee (the cashier knew my order already) and when she told me the price it was $5.08. When I asked if prices had gone up, she informed me the manager decided I should be charged extra for soy milk after THREE MONTHS of consistently being charged one price. I spoke personally with the manager after this and let him know that I found it unacceptable to inflate prices randomly to a loyal customer. Specifically that the 60 cents extra would cost him at least $150 a month in my coffee purchases alone, not to mention the money I spend on food, the business from my best friend, and the word of mouth we were creating for the business. His response: "have a good one, man". I'll be spending my money at chains like Dunks or Starbucks now because the days of good customer service in "mom and pop shops" are clearly over. read more

Unfortunately as I was relaxing enjoying the food and a conversation with friends I overheard an employee discussing her sex life in detail, the bad part was my friends 6 years old son was also in ear shot of the woman's conversation. We will not be returning as long as she still works there. So we're local, and have been coming here pretty much since they opened. The food and drinks are great. I often get a breakfast wrap or occasionally a sandwich for lunch. My wife loves the coffee. I like the iced tea options and some of the smoothies and other drinks they offer. On the food and drinks alone, the place is easily 4.5 to 5 stars. Never really had a bad sandwich, wrap, soup/chili or drink there. Food is top notch and the sandwiches, wraps and breakfast/lunch options are creative and fresh. What let's Frobie's down is the service. It is so scattershot, so inconsistent and in some cases non-existent. On so many occasions we get an order that is either incomplete or incorrect. On a few occasions our order has been overlooked and just plain forgotten. This all goes back well before the pandemic. Pretty much since the place is open. On the occasions when the order is correct, oftentimes it takes forever to get the food or drinks. I'd say probably 50% or more of our dealings there have had some sort of issue. If this were related to the pandemic it would be easier to overlook. To make matters worse, my wife has tried on a couple of occasions to say something to one of the staff and been met with an attitude almost every time. Now we don't even bother as it just isn't worth the attitude. It's almost like a free for all behind the counter there sometimes. Honestly, we've tried hard to support local businesses like Frobie's and I understand that it's probably stressful working in that type of operation especially in the current pandemic, but we're all in this together and copping an attitude with a customer looking to get their order corrected or straightened out just is not helping anyone. Pretty much almost all of the counter staff there needs some training on customer service. I think the managers just don't care and it filters down to the employees. I've looked the other way for years and continued to give this place the benefit of the doubt and support the local small business. We've been supporting them since they opened in spite of all the issues we've had. I think we're done with supporting Frobie's at this stage. I try to prioritize supporting small businesses and they are literally up the street from us, but after several incidents of attitude on behalf of the staff I'd rather support Dunk's or different local business. When you pay extra to support a small business you expect a little more. If I want a coffee with an attitude there are any number of chain places I can go thru the drive-thru at. I'm not going to put more of my hard earned money into a customer service business that doesn't seem to understand customer service. read more

The space is enormous, bigger than most coffee shops with plenty of room to host a couple people or a large group. I've been coming to Frobie's off and on for two years now and the consistency is phenomenal! The service is always friendly, no matter how busy or how long the line is. The food is always fresh and made to order and I've never had a bad cup of coffee here. The coffee is consistently brewed, and so the flavor is dependable. And it doesn't matter who makes it or what time of day or day of the week you come! I've had their regular coffee and also their cappuccinos and lattes. For those, they always ask if you prefer whole or skim milk and, regardless of the milk's fat content, the foam is always a good thickness (not too much but with lots of body). I've had their bagel sandwiches and those are also delectable. They build them so that you can taste each fresh ingredient. Frobie's is a community coffee shop with lots of information about events in Dracut and Lowell, including art shows, Farm CSAs and the music scene. The vibe in the shop, whether you're a regular, a sometime (like me) or a one-and-done, is welcoming and warm. The place and people - owner, wait staff, and customers - invite you to sit for a spell. As modern and contemporary as the decor is (many glass windows, leather coaches and easy chairs as well as contemporary chrome tables and chairs), the feeling inside is timeless and cozy (though it's a fairly large space); I always feel ready to tackle anything life throws at me after even just a quick half hour at Frobie's! How you feel after hanging at Frobie's - with friends or by yourself (I've done both, happily) is the coffee shop equivalent spiritual calm of a great session at the gym or hitting a personal best in your sport or after a successful hour of meditation or yoga! read more

My favorite coffee shop in the area. I love how much space there is inside and their menu has so many goodies. Plenty of coffee flavors on a smaller menu up at the counter.
