Everything was fresh and from their farm. I purchased a jar of sunflowers for $8. They were so pretty and lasted a while. If you're into farm fresh items, I recommend a stop!

In April to early May, they have pick your own tulips. I was following their Instagram for daily updates; I stopped in on Monday which was the last day of pick your own tulips. They gave us baskets and there were many great photos ops. There were many varieties to choose from and the flowers were so pretty. My son loved picking his own too. For $25 you get to pick 10 tulips and each additional is $1.50. The person working there was friendly; they also accept card and cash. It was my first visit, and I was amazed at the thousands of varieties of stunningly colorful annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, and more. Rows and Rows of beautiful flowers everywhere. We ended up buying four flats of pretty pink and purple perennials @ $2.95/flat. The Raspberry Parfait Dianthus will really beautify our mailbox. They also have a store with all sorts of home decor and furnishings. Note that Coward Farms is open during the year in three distinct time periods - Spring from May 1st - July 3rd, Fall from Sept. 1st - Oct. 31st and Christmas -starting the Friday after Thanksgiving.

There is a cute little stand and they give you a cup or bucket and shears. I opted for the smaller cup for $25. The farm had a wide variety of flowers to pick from. Parking was easy to find next to the stand. The house is super historic, 1723! I love the history. I was able to fill my cup with a wide variety of flowers. My favorites were the dahlias! It's a great spot for photo ops too. I highly recommend a visit!
