The things that weelrw unique and worth getting, even the things thag were mildly interesting were so over priced it made me feel like I wasted a day walking around here. It was an hour and a half trip so overall juice not worth the squeeze. Selection is a lot of stuff t hat looks like transfer station still good shed items... maybe 5-6 legit booths total of the 75 vendors. Check your records before buying almost all the ones I looked at were scratched.

For the most part we're going the prices low-fair! Bonus!!! If you're on the fence, price won't be a determining factor most likely. If there's a piece on the pricier side, there's usually some kind of description for the why behind the price. They have roller carts like target ands hand baskets to hold your things. The winding staircase is beautiful. Great spot for a photo! Yes they have bathrooms! Easily accessible! We're still confused but there's the main canal street antique mall with 2 full floors AND across the parking lot is another space on the 4th floor. They're owned by the same people, we think... we loved both places!

My skepticism was unnecessary as there was such a huge variety of fun and interesting items. I have attended several auction since then, as well as several of their weekend flea markets, and always have a blast! I have found so many fantastic bargains on beautiful estate items. For example: a 19th c Victorian love seat for $50! Several Antique Mahogany cabinets and bookcases for $50-$100. Gorgeous mid-century Bakelite flatware for $60 (a complete boxed set!), and so much more! You never know what you'll find: antiques, collectibles, fine art, tools... even a brand new high-end snow blower for $100. Plus, the auction is just fun! The cafe ladies make something different each week: mac n cheese, American chop suey, hot dogs, etc. so you can munch while you bid! The atmosphere is relaxed and the people are always friendly. My tip: arrive early so that you can browse! Tip #2 - the gym next store does tremendous business so parking can sometimes be tight .. don't get discouraged: you will find a space! Just be patient :) Attend with an open mind - there are treasures everywhere. Boston Auctions is a family run business with a hard working staff. Attending their auctions is always a highlight of my week!

Melo & Sons Upholstery - Cabot House custom sofa disassembled and reassembled

I certainly didn't until I treated…read moremyself to an extra cozy Boston Interiors sectional and the sofa portion wouldn't fit up my front or back staircase. Whoops! I had already been waiting two months for delivery, so to say I was disappointed is an understatement. Then the panic kicked in. Since it was a custom sectional, I would get majorly dinged if I returned it. But what other options were there? That's where Melo and Sons came in. The delivery guy put me on the phone with his manager to talk it over. Yes, returning the sectional was an option, as was taking out my dining room window to bring the sofa portion in that way (hell no!) Or... I could have some pros disassemble it at their warehouse then reassemble it in my living room. Of my three options, the third was the winner by a longshot. As I was the first delivery of the day, I patiently waited until Melo and Sons opened then gave them a ring. Joanne immediately answered and put my nerves at ease. It was obvious I wasn't the first numpty to purchase a too big piece of furniture that needed saving by them. After providing her all the requested information, I had a delivery date for about three weeks out. By the time my Boston Interiors salesperson called to discuss the failed delivery, everything was already tucked and tied with Melo and Sons. When the big day finally arrived, Mike and George showed up right on time and quickly got to work. They laid down moving blankets to protect the floor then brought up the disassembled sofa in several carefully wrapped pieces. Aside from being the consummate professionals, they were funny to boot. It took them less than two hours to reassemble the sofa and at long last reunite it with its other half. That evening, after three long months, I finally got to relax on and enjoy my sectional in its full glory. All thanks to Melo and Sons and their niche specialty.

I emailed Melo & Sons and quickly received a response with a quote from Joanne, who was extremely nice and helpful. An appointment was scheduled on 1/16/26 between 10-12. However, they came early, which was greatly appreciated. The two men that showed up were two for the nicest people. Both men had that leather sectional disassembled, brought up the stairs and reassembled in a few hours. After all their hard work, you can't even tell that the sectional was taken apart and put back together. NO scratches, dents, or rips. There work was impeccable. I sincerely want to Thank them for everything, because my couch would still be sitting in my hallway if it wasn't for their help.
