Front Door offers a tremendous variety of fabric choices and prices are competitive. The knowledgeable and friendly staff help you choose from a variety of manufactures. My personal approach was to research on my own to figure out desirable styles and colors. Once I decided on the style, and color pallet, I used their design services and worked with a designer. The designer presented me with more choices which I hadn't found on my own. I highly recommend Front Door and will go back the next time I need fabric. read more

I had the same experience others have had in the past. Was in the store in the morning. Only two other customers in the store. One was being helped. The other appeared to be looking at wallpaper books. Two people appeared to be working. I was never acknowledged or asked if a needed assistance. I had some fabric with me I was trying to match. We have a beach house and was trying to get some pillows and cushions to match an existing bedspread. Found some things I liked but just left since no one offered to help. Will not be going back. Two stars because the fabric and accessory selections were nice. read more

Decorating our nursery ahead of our first child's arrival and had the most wonderful experience at Front Door Fabrics! Worked with one of the designers to pick out beautiful fabric to create curtains for the windows and coordinating fabrics for the crib skirt and glider pillow. Will definitely go back to tackle my next fabric project... or to bring home a lamp or two! read more

Not friendly or helpful today as is the case most often when I've shopped there for years. Two ladies at desk didnt look up or greet me. Instead their personal conversation was more important. Finally i said I'd like to get some help. I ordered a lot of fabric and was there to pick it up. No 'thank you' and no smile. No offer to see if there was anything else I needed help with. just not friendly or helpful AT ALL. Maybe she's the owner. She sure doesnt care about good customer service. Last time I'm going there. The most unfriendly, stuck up staff I have ever seen. Wouldn't buy anything from them. Why in the world if you have a store front business at least have a salesperson who is cordial and willing to help. They should be taught that "they are simply overhead and the customer brings in the profit". No business from me and I will spread the word!!! read more

I see some negative reviews here but I have to say I've had a wonderful experience with FDF! I worked with Bobbie-she was super knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect fabrics. I loved I could book a consultation and have one on one time dedicated to helping me, especially with covid-maybe the ladies with negative experiences didn't realize you can pay for this service? Bobbie did let a couple gals that walked in know she was working with a client as she helped me, and one got upset-but I appreciated her dedicated help and attention, and she was very nice to the ladies when explaining as well. I'll definitely be back for other projects. read more

Did my LR curtains 2 years ago. Love the finished product. When I visited the store (old location) someone came up to me and helped me through the massive number of fabrics. Fast forward to this week. I'm recovering from shoulder surgery - wearing a big sling and pillow thing. Want window coverings made for DR and Master, lots of windows - prob a $12k job. I came here first, because I love the work they did in 2017. When I come in store, I'm not acknowledged. There are at least 3 employees and 1-2 other customers. It was clear that I was struggling to get fabric books down with my injury. I'm sure all employees saw me - only 1 actually helping a client. Only the dog acknowledged me. After 40 minutes of waiting on myself, and sick of struggling to get books down, I left. Guess you are making more $$ than you can handle - cuz you lost a client today! read more

I was completely ignored by the ladies working there. No one acknowledged my presence, so I left. Apparently, they don't want my money.

As soon as I walked in I loved how they displayed all of their beautifully colorful fabrics so it was a great first impression that this store knew their colors/patterns and how to display them. There were about 4 workers on the floor and ALL of them were helping someone (another good sign since the store had good business) so it gave me a chance to walk the store. After I did my lap I was starting to wonder when someone would notice me when the worker on the phone came over to help. First thing Jodi pointed out was how to find a coordinating color; teaching me that it was about drawing similar colors to coordinate rather than finding perfect matches. She did a great job of helping other customers while helping me out. Eventually, using her advice, I found a fabric and they helped me calculate how much I would need. Being a newbie to the DIY re-upholstering world I was filled with odd questions and they never made me feel out of place or unwelcome. They brought out my 1.5 yd of fabric wrapped with a bow and packaged in protective plastic. While paying Jodi was EXTREMELY sweet and made me feel very comfortable. I look forward to more projects just so I can shop here. Oh, and prices are industry standards so you won't find 40% deals like Joannes (which my cheap butt prefers) or anything but I was still willing to pay full price due to quality and customer service. read more

Here to echo the other reviews, and unfortunately report despite reviews of their unfriendly staff, nothing has changed. This store has beautiful fabrics and a lovely selection, but unfortunately the ladies who work acted very snobby and unfriendly toward me. They should take a moment and listen to the Christian music they had playing in their store during my visit and treat others as they would want to be treated- with kindness and respect. read more

I don't sew or quilt or knit, and I'm not really all that crafty. But my mother is, and she's been talking about wanting to go here for years so I took her. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable There is a LOT of fabric to look at so we spent quite a lengthy time in there. You cannot cut samples like other fabric stores I've been dragged to. Ahem ... I mean other stores I've willingly and happily gone to. They do allow you to take home some samples but you have to return them. The samples are basically books with sheet sized pages of fabrics. We took home a book however we felt bad about keeping it out for long so we returned it next day. This is slightly inconvenient since we wanted to see the fabrics in different natural lights over a few days to see how it would look in the room we would put it in. The plus side is since you're not taking home a swatch the size of a business card, you get a better idea of the print and how it will look. Be prepared: they photocopy your ID and take your credit card information if you do not return the books to them. I would come back here again, only because my mother looks like a kid in a candy store and to me that was worth hours of sorting through different shades of blue fabrics. read more

Fabrics were beautiful with a great selection to order. But be careful when ordering. My fabric jumped 330% when an extra 12 yards had to be ordered for my project. Went from $23.98 a yard to $79.98 a yard. They never informed me of the increase until it was ordered, cut, and then nonrefundable. When discussing my bill I was treated disrespectfully, interrupted, hung up on, and insulted. Horrible customer service! read more

Results regarding my previous complaint. I contacted the store manager to explain what occurred while visiting Front Door Fabrics. She asked me to hold because she wanted me to talk to the owner. The two of them already knew why I was calling, and was very apologetic, compassionate, polite...just all of the genuiness that we as people should present regardless of ethnicity, gender, etc. It was a real emotional conversation for the good. My friend and I will continue to shop there as well as refer to others...AWESOME outcome! read more

Each time I have been to this store the staff is always very helpful. Ashley walked around he entire store and gave me 4 different options for fabric and even included pillow options and other ideas that would brighten my room. When I went back to decide between two fabrics Jodi and Lori were also very helpful. The design expertise compensates for the higher price. It was much cheaper than getting an interior designer's opinion. read more

Redoing my living room for the first time in 20 years. Front door fabrics not only has fabric, but wall paper too! Spent several hours scouring through the wall paper books in a comfortable chair. Sales person checked in with me every so often to see if there was any questions I had, but pretty much left me alone to imagine. Ended up ordering a beautiful wallpaper!
