This is a wonderful bakery/ take-out for delicious food. Eat outside in warm weather or take it home . All kinds of bakery goods- breads, pies, cookies, cobblers, and rolls. Quick dinners such as salads-green, Caesar, egg/ham, deli meats or chicken pot pie, Smoked meats include chicken, pork, beef. The ribs are sooo good. Different kinds of cheeses and all the sauces, pickled items you can imagine . Everything is fresh, the staff is amazing and the food is delicious. Had a friend check their website and she saw we could get sandwiches there. We were working close by and needed a quick pick up meal (although we had thought about dining out front on the patio). Upon arrival...no sandwiches. We did grab some premade salads and some smoked cheese-its. I tried the spinach-strawberry salad and it was delicious. I also grabbed some cinnamon rolls for this weekend. I would come back to grab another salad or to pick up dinner on the way home. Just know there's no sandwiches..... We LOVE Front Porch and have been getting bread, cookies, pies, smoked meats, frozen meals, and much mood since they opened in the tiny red building. Since the expansion into the new building they are almost all you need for fresh, frozen or ready to eat food! I appreciate the rewards program too. Our family always gets the Front Porch ranch dressing and salsa as kitchen staples. The Wednesday Dinner Deal is super handy and a great chance to stock up on other locally produced products without having to go to multiple places. I have been to events in town where Front Porch catered the meal and it has been a great success! I went in because of all the great reviews! I had to buy the cinnamon rolls and let me tell you they are GREAT! I don't think I've had a cinnamon roll that good, not even from Cinnabon! I also bought the pumpkin bar, which I thought that one was ok. I could taste the pumpkin puree in it, but the cream cheese was very subtle. I would have liked to taste a bit of nutmeg and cinnamon in the pumpkin bar batter/ bread. read more

I purchased a rack of ribs that is definitely the worst I have ever eaten. So much fat! The membrane on the back side was not removed. Anyone that knows about smoking ribs is aware that this is a mistake. No flavor just a bland tasting piece of meat. Do not recommend. read more

I have been driving past this absolute gem for THREE months, and finally decided to drop in last week. I have already been back for more! From the road, you see what seems to be an unassuming red building. I saw the words bakery and smokehouse, thought it was an interesting combination, but was excited about what that might mean. When I went I for the first time, I was blown away by the variety of foods they have to live up to both sides of their description. There are cookies, cakes, pies, cinnamon rolls, scones, brownies, brittles, sugar free options and even more that I guarantee I'm missing! And to add to that, they have brisket, pulled pork, smoked sausage, pulled chicken, smoked ham, ribs, side dishes, chicken/ham salad, regular salads, and even lunch specials to drop in for. The staff is amazingly helpful and has put up with my questions and indecision with the best attitude. My first time in I got snickerdoodles, a scone, cinnamon rolls, as ham salad. Every single bite of every single dish was astounding! I wanted to try their smoked meats, but decided to wait. Hence my second visit within just as many weeks! My husband demanded (kindly lol) more cinnamon rolls and I wanted to go for their brisket which had been described to me as so tender you could cut it with a plastic fork. Now, in my excitement, I forgot to test that theory, but having lived in Texas and Oklahoma for the vast majority of my life, I can say with a lot of confidence that what I brought home was some of the BEST brisket I have ever had!!! It was tender, flavorful, and delicious. I almost always want bbq sauce to help make things less dry/taste better but I had forgotten to buy any, and so tried theirs without. This ended up working in my favor because it absolutely did not need anything to cover it up or help it in any way! The prices on everything seemed fair to me for what you get, and comparable to similar bakeries/bbq restaurants. I absolutely see myself becoming at least semi-regular. Seriously guys. Everything we have purchased has been fantastic. Pulled pork enchiladas is my favorite! The catering is also great and is reasonably priced with a wide selection to choose from. This is a great little find along route 66. The roadway sign says Ol Dutchmans bakery, but another says The Front Porch. It's a small place, but packed with locals mid day on a Saturday. The cinnamon rolls, and blueberry fried pies are great. And where else can a person find oatmeal pie? Worth the stop. read more

Quaint little Amish bakery north of Claremore on 66. Very limited selection, but they do have a good assortment of pies and cookies and breads and jams.
