This dental service did a 4 on 4 procedure. At the time the implants were placed the prosthodontist said that one of them would fail which was very disturbing because in 2019 the cost was $12000. Today I had to go to another prosthodontist because not just one failed two failed and I am spending another $12,000. Implants should last indefinitely and that is why I chose the implant option rather than dentures. read more

$30,400 upfront for hybrid fixed dentures with an agreement to pay $2K additional if "finals" get returned to their local lab for changes I wanted. After payment and service began, Original Prosthodontist (OP) wants to skip wax and begin by scanning current finals. His 1st temps were delivered from an AZ lab. (bottom set on 1st photo comparing to bosses last set & top set on 2nd photo comparing to Replacement Prosthodontist's (RP) set) OP's 2nd set was not delivered to me due to poor quality (See screenshot of text from OP to AZ lab), yet FRDP billing records show I was charged $4K for them. Without my knowledge, OP's Boss moves my case from AZ lab to a CO lab, producing a different looking set. (See photo with screenshot of text between me and OP). One of the selling points was they used a local lab, the AZ lab was a surprise. Boss locks OP & staff out of practice and replaces my OP and crew. Replacement Prosthodontist (RP) starts with wax that were set in too far & the teeth too short, producing a toothless look. With resistance, she adjusted the wax out more to support the lips and raised the teeth. I signed "in the ballpark" agreement with my notations of fixes, and then okayed to move to temps. The temps came in without the fixes. The teeth were not brought out more & most disappointing was the midline was still canted. She told me I could get fillers and botox to get the lip support, despite having it with my current finals and the temps delivered from my OP. I was repeatedly told the midline is where it is suppose to be, that it lines up with my crooked nose and lip. I repeatedly asked for a vertical midline, not canted! The office manager (OM) said in a phone call that RP did not charge for her work because I was not happy. Boss takes over my case to avoid issuing a refund, saying I won't have to deal with the RP or her rude assistant. Both of which I gave gifts to. The Boss begin with wax. My husband and I approved the wax set, but were disappointed when the temps came in completely different looking. Larger teeth and only a small gum line. The entire prosthetics were over-sized, making it difficult to speak and impossible to clean. An appt at the Bosses Englewood location, Dental Arts of Cherry Hills was made to put my old finals back in, despite having a tooth broke off. Agreed plan was to fix passivity of OP's 1st set in Fort Collins then send them back to the AZ lab to be done correctly. The OM calls me, says OP reached out and wants to finish my case, thinks he knows what is needed and would I be okay with that. "Yes, I'd be fine with that" Says the OP or his ex-Boss will be in touch. OP replies to my text, writes that the office manager contacted him about finishing my case and he told him "No". OP texts me that the office manager contacted me before talking to him. OP sends me screenshot of office manager texting him. The office manager tells me in a call that OP's answer was convoluted. I text the Boss and he replied he didn't know what I wanted. The Boss sends my case to AZ before seeing me to fix passivity of prosthetics as was the plan. The Boss thinks having OP take over was my idea, when it was in fact the office managers. A box of all the failed temps arrived, except the RP's, the OM said in a call that the teeth were removed and the acrylic was used to make the last set of temps. Included in the box was a refund of $8,200 and a letter ending service. A cost of $22,200, many, many trips from Longmont to Fort Collins or Englewood and back, and almost 2 years of my time wasted with no wearable temporaries and no final prosthetics! How is this right? A demand Letter to the Boss from my Attorney resulted in an offer of an additional $4K refund with the agreement to remove reviews and complaints to DORA and the Northern Colorado and Denver BBB's. Instead of doing the right thing, I have to take it to the media and court. I declined the offer! It's worth passing on $4K to leave the reviews and complaints in tact so others won't get caught up in a circus like I did. read more

Never received finals and only refunded $8,400! Hired Prosthodontist, Dr. Soter, who begins with scanning current set. Temps delivered, which according to Soter, were placed on the plate wrong by an "ARIZONA" lab, making uppers uneven. They were sent back to AZ lab after a failed attempt of grinding lowers to fix. The next set was not delivered to me due to poor quality according to text I rec'd from Soter, yet billing records show I was charged $4K for them. Without my knowledge, Dr. Harogiannis (Dr. Kostas or Dr. K) moved my case from AZ lab to a CO lab, producing a very different looking set; too gummy with small, grooved teeth. At this point, Soter's only setting up Saturday appointments, but cancels them the nights before. He eventually texts me Dr. K locked him and most of the staff out, replacing them. I see the new Prosthodontist, Dr. Ahmed to take out the poor quality temps Dr. K's lab made. After a meeting to discuss a refund with Dr. K, my husband and myself agree to give Dr. Ahmed a chance. Dr. Ahmed insists on starting with wax. After multiple issues; wrong teeth placed in temps (number ordered was right but came from a different vendor), poor lip support (I didn't like being told I could get fillers or botox, that they don't fix sunken lip look, despite having good support with Dr. Soter's temps and my current set). The teeth she placed were too short and repeatedly delivered with a canted midline. I was told by Ahmed and lab tech Toben they line up with my crooked nose and lip. Ahmed said it is where it is suppose to be. I'm done being ignored. We agree to let Dr. K take over my case, promising I won't have to see Ahmed or her rude assistant, Karen. He too starts with wax and my husband joins me at most appointments. My husband and I approved the wax set, but were disappointed when the temps came in COMPLETELY different looking. Larger, manly teeth, and practically no gum line. The entire prosthetics were over-sized, making it difficult to speak and impossible to clean. There were visable twisted wire supports on uppers and lowers. I was unable to put my lips together without effort. An appt at Dr. K's Dental Arts of Cherry Hills location was made to put my original finals back in, despite having a tooth broke off. At the close of the appointment, the agreed plan was for Dr. K to fix passivity of Soter's 1st set in Fort Collins then send back to the AZ lab to be remade correctly. FRDP's office manager calls, says Dr. Soter reached out and wants to finish my case and would I be okay seeing him at his new place. "Yes, I'd be fine with that" He tells me Dr. Soter or Dr. K will be in touch. Dr. Soter texts me that the office manager contacted him about finishing my case and he told him "No". Dr. Soter sent me screenshot of office manager texting him. I text Dr. K and he replied he didn't know what I wanted. Should have trusted my instincts when I walked into this antiquated facility where the practice had apparently recently been sold. Dr. Ahmed - very young Dr - appeared to be in charge though I don't believe she owns the practice. After blaming prior Drs and procedures for my predicament, Dr. Ahmed Improperly recommended multiple procedures which, trusting her professional opinion, I agreed to have performed on me. The end result of all of her work, and those she brought in to perform it, was tremendous pain, infections and failed procedures; Lack of transparency and honesty about multiple botched procedures including that she failed to inform me at the outset that, in rare instances, the procedures I required can and do fail and that I may, in fact, be such a person; She misrepresented to me both her experience and qualifications and brought in an outside periodontist, Dr. David C. Johnson (who butchered me), to perform my procedures, as well as an outside anesthesiologist, who over-anesthetized me on more than one occasion; Sophisticated and complicated procedures apparently beyond the skill set of Dr. Ahmed who misled me from the outset that she was fully qualified to perform. Dr. Barney and his staff are incredible. They have been more friendly and helpful than I ever could have imagined. I called the office with a dental emergency and they were able to schedule me an appointment the very same day. They got me in for surgery the next day! Dr. Barney is great at what he does, I felt no pain whatsoever during my procedure (2 extractions, bone graft, and gum reconstruction) and he has since checked on how I was healing and answered all my questions. The staff are kind and generous and worked with me to get things done quickly and easily. I live in Greeley but decided to go to Front Range Dentures in Fort Collins because Dr. Barney was so highly recommended. It is hard to transition to dentures and implants but he and his staff made it much less stressful. From the minute you walk in every member of the staff is so welcoming and pleasant. They even named a room after me with sticky notes since I always visited the same patient room. It is this attention to detail and extra gestures that makes the experience so special. And I could not be happier with my new dentures. They look like real teeth and everyone has taken all the time I needed to make sure that they fit well. I would highly recommend Front Range Dentures to anyone who has to go through this process. It's not fun losing your teeth but if you have to do it having a supportive staff that produces excellent work is the way to go. read more
