We went here for a family vacation and it was pretty nice at the time. It was not extremely crowded so the lines to get on waterslides and enjoy the pool and water areas was not crowded at all. They do have a couple of food spots that are on site, but since it was so hot, I decided to enjoy a medium cup of dipping dots, and I got the Cookie Monster. It was very tasty as it has nice size crumbles of cookies throughout the dipping dots so I enjoyed this by the pool side. This is a good spot for children as they have a water area that specifically for the little kiddos with mini waterslides with sprinklers and then they have things for the adventurous ones with much larger and taller waterslides. They even have some where you can get on the inner tubes by yourself or you can ride along with someone else. The waterpark also has deals online with purchasing tickets. They also have options where you can get a ticket to enjoy meals to every I think 30 minutes or an hour. They also have the same similar deal when it comes to beverages throughout your day there. read more

Customer service is non-existent or just super poor. They employ a lot of young kids and many have attitides and no professionalism. Had some major issues with customer relations and their supervisor who had to have someone under her step in to fix a mistake she made. Rides are really fun for the age of my oldest, 4yo. We were fortunate and didn't have long wait times. Food service individuals were the friendliest of all the employees. Food was alright. Pizza was pretty good. My son loved the corn dog. Boneless wings were tasty. Mexican food was very meh (we had nachos, fry bread and tacos)....wouldn't choose it again and I love mexican. Idk if there are multiple types of salad but the one at the pizza place was just ice berg with 3 tiny pieces of grilled chicken. Burgers sat out for a long time and looked thin and dry. Food is VERY expensive, get a meal plan! Beverages were super limited unless you go to main dining area. We went out to frontier city for a magic show and dinner. The price included parking, park admission, dinner, show, all the soft drinks and a liquor drink each. The dinner was brisket, pulled pork, corn bread, beans, mac n cheese, cole slaw and salad. All you can eat. After the show they have apple cobbler and ice cream. The show lasted abt an hour. It was really good magic show. Abt 50 people. He involved the audience, esp the kids. He is a Merlin Awarded Magician, David Thomas is his name. Promising deals. Poor customer service. The times we've visited, rides are closed due to a lack of staff. There are lots of limitations on when and how discounts are used for season pass holders. The park feels outdated and the soft drinks are pretty flat. On top of that, I was trying to see if a promo code was working for some extra tickets for a visit this weekend. You know how most websites have a place to enter a promo code in the checkout? Their website is structured differently. I accidentally purchased two full priced tickets expecting there to be a confirmation page after entering payment details. I tried reaching out to customer service. Considering the circumstances, I was surprised they didn't just refund the order. It's fine to stick to your policies. It's just not a great way to keep long-standing customers who've already had not-so-great experiences at your park. read more

It's a nice little theme park! Worth the wait to do the Log Flume last as the afternoon got hot and we were almost ready to leave. A few of the bigger rides were closed which was disappointing. They did have legitimate water cups in the food area we went to, so we didn't have to buy any drinks. Water fountains were sporadically available around the park which was a bit frustrating. Wait times weren't too long at all at rides, and the workers were all friendly, helpful, and fast. I just wish tickets weren't so expensive! I got mine for free from donating blood, and my boyfriend got a bit better rate from the AAA website. We dodged paying $25 for parking by leaving the car at the Cracker Barrel after breakfast and walking the 15 minutes to the park -- don't know how correct that was, but the car was still there when we got back! This is definitely on the lower tier of the Six Flags chain. You can tell this park was acquired by Six Flags because when you go, it does not have the Six Flags feel. The place is actually a western theme and when you entered you feel like you are in a town. Now of course you do see the ads from T-Mobile, Snickers and others so that still has the Six Flags feel. . Even for a lower tier park, this place does get pack for fright feist as it was wall to wall people. Here is my experience. I spent the whole day here from 12pm to 10pm as I arrived at around 11:50am as I usually try to show up an 30 minutes to an hour. But I blame my time at Winstar for making me show up at that time. There was a huge line for security screening and then had a lot of cops on patrol. It took me around 15 minutes to get through the line. You can your pass to get in and you get greeted by the gift shop. One of the rides Diamond Back, the entrance is in the front of the park. The ride was closed most of the day but opened at night time. But wished I had a chance to ride it as it is the first shuttle looper. For the first 2 hours, the park was dead and I was able to ride all of the roller coasters except for Diamond Back. Most of the lines were long for all of the rides and I had to wait 30 to 60 minutes per ride. My goal was to ride all of the rides, but as soon as the day went on I was not able to full fill that item. I did reviews on Steel Lasso, Silver Bullet, and Wildcat all were decent rides, but being a roller coaster enthusiast, I was like it was okay rides. Be sure to ride Steel Lasso first as the line gets really long and looks like the line moves slow. I also rode Brain Drain, Bumper Cars, Log Ride. My favorite ride was the log ride as it is unique compared to others I have ridden on as the bumpers are made out of concrete which I have only seen this at another park, Holiday World. It is pretty scary going through the tunnel and it is high themed. But I rode this ride 5 times and the line was usually a 30 minute wait. Ride ops and waiting was not too bad and ran smoothly. Now for the food variety, not much. I only saw hot dogs, hamburgers and nachos and that was it. Inside the buildings, well has an old smell to it and inside the theatre where the floor was sticky and pretty gross. Floor can use replacement. The building with the food court was interesting, it has great theming, but most of the food places were shut down. The Mexican place was shut down and confused me as they said fully loaded nachos, but it only had pulled pork and can not believe I paid $2 dollars extra. There are some places that require you to order through the app. Food service can use some work as some of the people were rude and I had to wait 30 minutes for my order and it was not even busy at that time and I might have taken someone elses as there was a huge group of 12 that got their order before me. Make sure you get your receipt as I did not get one which has your number. I remembered I waited 20 minutes in line and they ran out of drinks without telling us as the people in front just ordered food. Pretty much three places I went to ran out of drinks, I just hope they got more for Halloween. It was probably one of the worst food experiences I had at Six Flags, Maryland stands up there too. Okay the best part of the park were the shows. They had 5 different shows and I ended up watching 6 of them. One of them were a repeat which was the western show as the first time I watched it, it was sunny and the sun was in my face so I could not enjoy it much other than getting drenched. I liked the magic show and the freak show the most, but those only happens during Fright Feist. Overall, I was able to stay from opening to closing which was a surprise for me. I thought I was going to stay for 5 hours, but the shows kept me here. Looking for one of the best family friendly parks in the country well this is totally it as they have a good amount of things for everyone to enjoy! Coming here I really didn't know what all would be here as you can read about it but physically coming here was a good time in a few fun ways! Recently this park was acquired by Six Flags so if you have a membership this park is included with your pass along with all the other ones they own. We came on a Friday we arrived just as the park was opening and we were soon inside we rode all of their coasters some of which are ok and some of which are a bit better but nothing here is over the top which is cool in a way because I feel that this park is more catered to kids which is something every youth needs is a good local park! The whole city is western themed and to a good detail as no part of this park doesn't let you know where you are this is something I always find super cool when I visit different parks making it feel like I'm actually in the setting they are portraying. Wile they only have a handful of coasters this is a new property for Six Flags and I would really like to see them get a new coaster to the lineup as I feel like this park could definitely benefit from it! Besides the coasters they have a variety of flat rides and a few shows making it a place you can spend a good deal of time at! As for our lunch we went with the bbq it was ok typical Six Flags food on the Dinning pass but it was still good for what it was. Swamped on the first Saturday in May. Hot. Very little staff working the drink stands and restaurants. I can imagine it's hard to find good help, during the school year on a Saturday in May, but nonetheless we were underwhelmed and unimpressed. The drink lines were out the door. They were running out of bottled water way too easily. Not well stocked. Not well prepared. Lines for attractions easily took 45 mins to 1.5 hours. The best part of our trip was the park's last 10-15 minutes when almost everyone had gone, and our students could ride 2-3 more rides without the lines. Mind you we brought a bus full of students. So did everyone else in Oklahoma and the Texas panhandle! It was not a good day to be at Frontier City. We learned our lesson and will try other places like OKC River Sports & Main Event so that we can be better accommodated! read more

We had fun because there was no crowds, this place was ran by all kids and lots of rides where down in the kids areas. There lots of things unopened inside the park. We rode about 12 rides in 3 hours with all the walking and 2 different $30 bottle water break for two adults and two kids under 10, no shows where open and we were rained out after 3 hours, I was ready to leave very hot with the inside of the park being all blacktop and no water fountains or shaded areas to rest. I would return on a cooler day to hit a few coasters I think there is 5 and we missed the one by the parking lot that looked kinda cool. All that being said for the money there are many better parks in my opinion. This place did have a water park as well that we may plan to spend more time at if we visit again someday. I was here for a corporate picnic. Regret that I wasn't able to ride anything. If you are an event coordinator this is for you. If you are a normal visitor, maybe the food review helps. We arrived and everything was laid out and ready for us. Practically the entire time we had a fantastic manager/supervisor with us. She was fantastic! Great personality, on top of everything, helpful and engaged. She showed that someone around here cared. The number of folks cleaning up wasn't noticeable, but they were all VERY motivated to keep anything that hit the ground picked up.This leadership crew must have gone to theme park training in Orlando! The food was very good for a huge catered event. I enjoyed the BBQ sandwich. Sliced beef with a great BBQ sauce in a bun. Hot dog was actually cooked on a grill. I can't believe they charge 50 bucks to walk in the door here. 105° and they don't have any misters for people to cool down and half of the rides are closed or not working properly.. Ok so a few points to say here are, we knew it was a "small park" and not a typical Six Flags. It is better for younger kids/tweens. They had some good shows to watch with a fantastic magic show and a gun fight act. We liked that you could walk the whole park easily and remember the way around. Lines weren't that long and staff was friendly. Now things to work on. More settings around food court area and near rides so parents can wait and watch. We have been double-park season pass holders for years now. We have used our golden cups a half a dozen visits and love the free refills. The gun show was fun as always and my favorite is the Steel Lasso. Our kids, 12 and 14, run from ride to ride and we feel safe with them in this park. We also didn't miss the chance to cool off in Wild West Waterworks and get dumped by the giant bucket! I have been visiting this park since I was a tiny child and still love it. I only give it a four because I would love some new larger rides. I have to admit that now I'm nearly 40 that death-defying rides are not my jam. I love seeing the kids have so much fun, and we even brought their cousins with our free guest passes. The best time to go is during the fair or when other large events are going on as lines are shorter. There is fun for all ages and entertainment types. This place has plenty to do for all ages, whether it be rides, games, shops, or places to eat. The roller coasters are fun and I enjoyed every ride I took on them. There usually is a popular ride or two closed so you may have to come back another day to get all the rides in. In comparison with other Six Flags parks, the staff is a little on the slower side when it comes to loading coaster trains. With that being said, the best time to get there is before the park opens. If you're early, you can get on a lot of rides quickly and knock them out before lines get really long. Something I could not stand about this park is the amount of smoking going on all around. If I were them, I'd hire security to watch this because it's an issue well outside the designated smoking section(s). People are smoking while in line for rides too. That's my biggest gripe. If you're going to do food, the big indoor cafeteria is a nice option. Otherwise, if eating outside, order online and pick it up so you're not waiting in a very long line. All in all, despite the cons, my wife and I still had fun and we feel we made the most of what this park offers. This has two stars only because it scratches that itch of you want to go to an amusement park. I've left a review before about how the parent company (Six Flags) neglects the needs of this park. To add to my precious review, the ride 'Silver Bullet' is closed yet again. We come here often enough to experience this ride being inoperable somehow, someway. It's a chronic issue. Either fix the thing for good or take it out and put something newer in - along with much of the rest of the park. This place is going to be hurting if it's not updated after the new theme park on northeast Oklahoma is open. read more
