Because my Lawn cutting service comes either Wednesday or Thursday. The first Tru Lawn fertilizer service came on a Thursday 30 minutes before my Lawn mower service came. Tru Lawn could not manage the first service. I cancelled the Tru Lawn service that day, since then I have received six calls from Tru Lawn and an invoice for $235.00.

Kept saying "tomorrow tomorrow's". Finally hired them for the job, they did an okay job. Kinda disappointed for paying over $1k with the result we had. Noticed we had a cracked window from the workers weed whacking. Told the owner Tim about it and he did not want to compensate till I showed them the estimate of the window repair and I had video recordings of the rocks being picked up from the cutting. Suggest I use my insurance to fix. Make a claim which would show on our record. Also they tried to sneak in the monthly mowing when I specifically told them I just wanted a one time clean up.

After paying a 50% deposit of over $1,200, the company canceled on us twice before finally showing up two weeks late. When they did arrive, only a small portion of the agreed-upon work was completed. Over the following week, they showed up sporadically--sometimes for just an hour--then left, leaving many tasks unfinished despite our contract. Multiple attempts to contact the General Manager were ignored. Even after requesting an in-person walk-through to discuss the poor workmanship, he failed to follow through or address any concerns. To make matters worse, we were charged for 6 yards of mulch that were never delivered. After three weeks, only about 30% of the project had been completed. We ultimately had to hire another contractor to finish the work. The General Manager refused to offer a refund or take responsibility--and responded with condescending and passive-aggressive remarks. In short, this unprofessional company took our money, failed to deliver on their promises, and left us with a mess. This company lacks integrity and we strongly advise others not to hire them.

So, after working with him for over a year, I think a review update is in order. Everything I said in my original review is still true. What has become more and more clearly after interacting with him for over a year is that ZAC TAKES CARE OF MY YARD AS IF IT'S HIS OWN! He does a lot of extra things and he doesn't even charge me for them. Yesterday, I came home and found Zac on all fours on my front yard weeding! For one thing, it was a 80 degree day. Also, he is NOT even expected to put out the weeds. I learned that he had been doing that without telling me because my house is on a corner lot and is very visible to people who walk by. So, Zac is not only knowledge and good at what he does but also very passionate about what he does. I could not possibly ask for more from him.
