Re: Deteriorating Services Of Weed Man Chilliwack…read more Our lawns were treated by Weed Man for weed control on Jun 23. On July 20, we were in the yard picking weeds. The weed control treatment was not even a month old, and we had mature weeds. We talked to Shaun and said the technician would come the next day to spray. Weed Man reapplied weed control on July 21 and billed us without prior notice. Shaun claimed that this was the summer application and the final one would be in September. How could it be that in less than a month we required weed control application twice whereas the next one would supposedly be in September, ie two and half months from now. Shaun insisted that we were informed of the billing. We asked him to listen to the phone recording which was just the prior day but he refused. We would not have had Weed Man reapply if we were informed first-hand that it was going to be charged. Weed Man sent us a photo with a hose on the lawn of our back yard to prove that the technician was there. However, on our security camera footage, it showed distinctively that the technician walked aimlessly along with a hose and sprayed the edge of the embankment area only. It speaks volumes as to how well the spray was done. Since Weed Man has changed hands, the services have been running downhill showing a lack of integrity and responsibility. Ineffective weed control, rapid drive-by spot spraying, persistent billing issues all seem to be occurring. Without hesitation, we cancelled Weed Man services and requested to have all our personal and credit card information deleted from their records. We are done with Weed Man Chilliwack for good. We expect the Services of Weed Man Chilliwack will eventually collapse, honesty and truth will eventually prevail. July 23, 2026
