Though I can't see Dr. Tierce, Dr. Geib [and the others] offers the same excellent veterinary care we're used to, and they are usually able to see us the same day. Their hours are good for people who work and diagnoses are always spot-on. We come here for the excellent and cutting edge veterinary healthcare, deliver through experienced and caring Veterinarians, not some slick, modern clinic. Don't believe everything you hear on the news. This clinic has likely cared for more pets than any other clinic in Fort Worth. They've been at the same location since the early 1970s. I wouldn't go anywhere else [except their other clinic, Western Hills Animal Hospital]!

Last week, after our longtime vet left the country for a much-needed vacay, our orange tabby gal (Blossom) became very ill. Prior to our vet's departure, she treated Blossom's troubling ambulatory issues. All seemed to be going well--at least until Blossom developed some worrisome respiratory symptoms. PARC did a great job caring for our eldest super senior cat, Druscilla, who had an health scare during our vet's last vacation in October 2024. Dr. Melanie Aschenberg did a fantastic job with Druscilla. She explained her treatment protocol and was very understanding. The vet tech was also wonderful with Dru, so we knew we had to contact PARC again. Just like the time prior, PARC staff were incredibly professional, accommodating, and understanding: from Alyssa (sp?) who accepted our intake call, to Cheryl (sp?) the vet tech, and to Dr. John Strohneyer, who was extremely professional, informative. He was really great with Blossom (who can be terribly skittish). Dr. Strohmeyer thoroughly evaluated Blossom and explained his diagnosis, prognosis and treatment plan. He also informed us of available options so that we could make informed decisions. Once again, PARC provided our cat exceptional care. If you're looking for great pet health care, I enthusiastically recommend PARC.

A completely empty ER, the Dr just standing around with his hands in his pockets for almost 40 minutes. Do they think we can't see what they're doing with all the transparent glass? Came in around 12am for an emergency visit, wasn't shown a room for the first 20 minutes till I brought it up twice, as I can physically see them just standing around. Dr then threatened to call the cops cause I took his picture when I asked what was taking so long to be seen. I left after 40 minutes and went to a different er where my cat was seen immediately. They call themselves a "hospital" which is a joke to call this any kind of hospital. Refused to give me his name and his license as is required in the state of Texas. Dr Rizwan Shazad more like Dr Death. Stands around with his hands in his pockets like this almost permenantly it seems as I arrived at 12, and left at 130. When I asked for his name at the front counter, he came up to the counter after I got his name and threatened to have me arrested cause I took a picture of him. I like the old fashion style, where the doctor does it all and the tech basically holds the pet and works the billing. This is a much bigger operation and the tech does most of the physical or hands on procedures. It's more like a human hospital in that regard with the techs being more like registered nurses. I can imagine there is a lot of overhead and that is why the cost is considerably more. Still I had some questions after our visit and the doctor cleared up some misunderstanding I had regarding the diagnosis of my pet, so I'm very appreciative of that. He was diagnosed with a bad yeast infection. They were able to test him there and diagnose in 45 minutes. $230dollars for meds and special shampoo,, plus testing and visit. Total $600. The recheck 2 weeks later was less than $50. 2 weeks later at recheck he is a new boy. He is eating better, and playful. So grateful!

We came for the food refill a month late and they couldn't hardly decipher their med card to know what to give us and then found not even a place for it on the shelf. Can't go to another store as they kept our paper rx copy which they were supposed to give back but we didn't know so didn't question. Now have to make a trip even further away to the vet to start over. They were completely clueless and I've done this process before in Colorado and those stores had no issues helping me out for 6 months of a specialty diet so it's a staff issue at this location apparently. Not sure if this translates to other care but not going to find out.

I didn't have a great experience there overall (20-minute wait in the foyer waiting area, then nearly an hour in the private room with no update from the vet tech after my cat's vitals were taken, etc.), but I was still going to have my cat treated since vet trips are extremely traumatic for him. ​​ When the doctor came in for the exam (which was less thorough than what the vet tech had already done and added no new information), she picked at his scab with her long nails - - repeatedly. And then she rubbed the area and picked at it some more. It made me anxious, and I commented on how my cat doesn't like his wound touched. I was too late though. When the doctor left after conducting the half-baked exam, and I was waiting on pricing​quotes for treatment, I saw that my cat's scab had been picked off at the top by about 0.5 cm, and that the newly exposed area was bleeding. I was horrified and infuriated. This wound has taken over a year to get even only this much better; the progress is microscopic, spread across a lot of time. I take photos of it every week to track the progress so that it's visible at all.​ ​​Her inexcusable carelessness set us back by up to six weeks - - a month at a minimum. ​ I immediately canceled plans for any treatment, as well as blood work. I have no trust in anyone there if the doctor is that reckless. ​Maybe the other doctors are great, and maybe if I only had to have the vet tech treat him, it would be an OK place (despite the inconvenient location). I'll never know. I'm never going back. ​ I was very fortunate that I didn't have to pay for the "exam" the doctor performed, which would have been tantamount to rewarding her for hurting him. As a first-time customer, we benefited from the clinic's ​​policy of a free first exam. All I can say is, I strongly advise against letting Dr. Brown touch your pet if your fur-baby has a flesh wound. I'm still shocked and enraged by what she did to my poor cat. ​I hope that none of the other doctors are anything like her.
