I did not expect the cap to be restored to new condition, or to even get fully cleaned. I was absolutely amazed by the results. The cap was something that only the owner could love, but it was so dirty you couldn't actually read any writing on it. Two days later I went back and they had it looking almost brand new. That they treat even a minor item with that kind of care and attention shows their commitment to top quality output. I was very pleasantly surprised. Their price was very reasonable. I've had them dry clean my stuff before, so I figured it would be a quick drop-off. The thing is, one of my jackets was really messed up because I had worn and ruined it from playing night laser tag in and around an old military fort in Port Townsend. As you can see in the photos, I ended up with a lot of "stickers" all over my jacket. So I walked in to DuPont Cleaners and laid the jackets on the counter. The person working there took one look at it and said, "we can't do that." She then picked up my other jacket and started inspecting it. So I told her, "If you're not willing to do it, then I'm going to have to take both jackets to another place." Then I picked up the jackets, walked out the door, and Google-mapped another dry cleaner place. I found one in Lacey called Super Cleaners 2. I took it to them and the person working there had no issues with it. She even pointed out repairs that should be done to that jacket. I just picked up my jacket yesterday from that Super Cleaners 2 in Lacey and, as you can see, they did a great job. So in terms of being willing to get the job done for the customer, I don't recommend DuPont Cleaners, but I highly recommend Super Cleaners 2 in Lacey.

We brought my daughter's senior prom dress to this shop for alterations after hearing many positive recommendations. The dress was her dream prom dress and cost approximately $350. From the beginning, the owner mentioned that the requested alteration might be difficult due to the design of the dress. However, the shop accepted the job and never indicated that the alteration could not be completed successfully. When we picked up the dress, it had significant fit issues, visible puckering, uneven stitching, and multiple snags in the fabric. We returned immediately, and to their credit, the staff was kind and agreed to attempt repairs. When we picked up the dress for a second time, not only were many of the original concerns still present, but the dress had additional snags, pulls, loose threads, and further damage to the fabric. When I pointed out the condition of the dress, I was told that the material was very sensitive and that precautions had been taken while handling it. While I understand that some fabrics require extra care, the dress was returned to us in worse condition than when it was originally dropped off. Throughout the process, the owner was polite and not argumentative. I also appreciate that the shop refunded the alteration fee without hesitation. My disappointment is not with the customer service, but with the outcome and the lack of accountability for the condition in which the dress was returned. In the end, my daughter was left without a wearable version of the dress she had chosen for her senior prom. I am sharing this experience because I wish I had known beforehand that a delicate fabric and a more complex alteration carried a risk of significant damage. Had I seen a review describing an experience like ours, I would have chosen a different option for such an important dress.

When I asked what was going on, she mentioned that she didn't know what the price would be and that she was working with the owner to determine the pricing for these curtains. She later said that they wouldn't know what the cost would be I told her that I was confused since she had given me a quote on the phone and she said, "well, I just guessed because I didn't know what they would be like" despite me giving her a very detailed description of what I was trying to bring in. I told her that I would be leaving since I didn't want to leave that behind without pricing and she was encouraging me to leave them all behind or to leave at least one panel behind so that she could get back to me with pricing. I declined. Seems awful unprofessional to lie to customers on the phone to get them to come in and then on top of that, to not offer a quote when you're staring at the product live. I wouldn't return here and would not recommend this business to anyone else.
