Alterations? Don't do it. I spent $35 each on jersey knit dresses to have shortened and the hemline changed from scalloped to straight. The dresses were shortened a bit but remain with a scalloped hemline. They wanted to charge more to fix their mistake. No, thank you. read more

I dropped off my husbands uniforms for some patches to be added on and dry-cleaned, as well as one of his buddies. I also dropped off my king size weighted blanket to be dry cleaned. The gentleman up front was so friendly and took care of things quickly. They were able to rush the uniforms (husband had a deadline fast approaching) for a very reasonable fee and my weighted blanket was also ready early when I picked up the uniforms! I believe this may be run by a family, and I love supporting small businesses. This is definitely a business that provides quality services and deserves all the support they get. I dropped off some hand knit and sweaters to be cleaned and paid upfront. originally the sign had said they were open on Saturdays but when I showed up the sign said they suddenly closed on weekends. When I came back to pick up my sweaters they told me that they could not be cleaned and some holes turned up mysteriously. I was issued a receipt for the credit for my next cleaning. But I was so unhappy I did not go back. When I called ask about the refund they insisted that I had already been refunded which was not true. I will never go there again. read more

I brought in a white dress shirt and a gown. The white shirt was worn only once before it was drenched in red wine. The gown also had red wine stains in the front. The stains were months old. I had washed it once but the red marks were still very visible. I brought both into Evergreen Cleaners and they said they'd try to remove the stains. RUINED CLOTHING! Do not recommend. These people will smile at you until something goes wrong, and then they will treat you like dirt. I brought in a very expensive clothing item with hand stitched embroidery, the care label says to hand wash. When I picked it up, the stitching was fraying and threads were coming out everywhere. It looked TERRIBLE! They had clearly just washed it in the washing machine with everything else. When I pointed it out to the woman, she said, "SO?" I then had to use her scissors myself to attempt to trim all of the frayed threads from the stitching that she had ruined. HORRIBLE customer service, left such a bad taste in my mouth, not to mention they ruined my clothing and didn't care at all. They also totally overcharge for basic things like laundered shirts. I'm average size Large, but they charge me $8 for basic laundered shirts that are around $2 anywhere else. They claim that they have to hand iron my shirts because they are "too small." Such a scam. Needless to say, I'll never be back. read more

I just went to hang my very expensive Pottery Barn linen drapes that I had dry cleaned at Evergreen and discovered that they were seriously damaged. All 4 panels have pink blotches all over them and can't be used. I took an heirloom lace tablecloth that was stained and yellow from age and daily use in to be cleaned. I was hopeful that taking it to the dry cleaners would restore it's beauty but I wasn't holding my breath as it's a delicate tablecloth and it wasn't in good shape. I was in a bind. It was my son's wedding day and the night before I was laying out my clothes to wash and iron when I realized the shirt I was going to wear was "dry clean only". I washed the linen pants myself, fully intending to iron myself, but they were so wrinkled I didn't feel competent enough with an iron. I knew of Evergreen, so when I went to get my hair cut first thing Saturday morning, I stopped in at Evergreen and asked if there was anyway I could have my shirt cleaned and pressed and press my extremely wrinkled linen pants. Now, they don't normally do any cleaning or pressing on Saturdays, but my desperate plea my have been pretty pathetic, because Don agreed to have it done by 2pm! Alleluia! OMG! Don saved the day! I dropped off a wool coat here a couple weeks ago and it was covered in hair after my cat decided to take a nap on it. I tried to use a lint roller but it was embedded in there pretty good. They got ALL of it out and it didn't have that chemical smell like other places I've been. It looked brand new. The lady working both times I went was really nice, I think she may be the owner. I dropped off my other coat after I picked up that one and I will be picking it up soon. I'm sure they did a great job on that too!
