Cranmore delivered just that and more. Lots of greens and blues where I could work on my skills, try trails with escalating difficulty, and still kick back when I just want to enjoy myself and not be a ball of nerves. I also enjoyed the length and variety of their many trails I could traverse. Was happy to have more options than just a quick up and down in a straight line over a full day of skiing. Their main lift was quick and skiers were able to load efficiently. Lots to look at on the way up. The day of my last visit there were several ski competitions going on just next to the lift so it was fun to watch people competing and see spectators make the trek up to watch as well. Ski patrol were out and about and lots of staff available to check in with as needed. The lodge itself had everything I needed... free cubbies to store your stuff, bench seating to change into your boots, adequate table space both up and downstairs to grab a bite to eat, indoor and outdoor gas fireplaces to huddle by, a bar and hot foods, and best of all... a bathroom at the same level as where you can ski up to so no having to navigate stairs in clunky footwear. Drop off area for skis, quick in and out to purchase tickets, simple walk over to a very large parking area. I can't wait to return when the opportunity arises!

The mountain coaster was the best part, and we only waited a max of 5 min in line, and ended up riding it 6 times. There was a longer line for the Soaring Eagle zipline and Swing, only because they can only hold a few people at a time. The chair lift had nice views. The trampoline was entertaining, but kinda one note. The inflatable obstacle courses were both scalding hot in the sun and had puddles from rain the night before, so my kids didn't like those. I'd recommend Cranmore Adventure Park for 2-3 hours of fun.

We were here for a couple nights for a wedding. Booking the "right" room online is complicated if…read moreyou don't know the layout. If you are in a wheelchair or have issues maneuvering stairs, call the resort to discuss options. There are no elevators or ramps at the Inn. The Inn is not a building to choose if you require a wheelchair or limited stair use. That also means that the restaurant and bar are not an option, either, as they are both inside of the Inn. The resort is on both sides of Route 153. There are multiple buildings. The check-in office is in the Mill. The staff are incredibly nice and accommodating. Upon entering the Inn, there's a strong, odd smell, but it was not in the room. The room surprised me. We booked a room that had a king bed and 2 twin beds. The twin beds are separated from the King bed allowing us to shut the door. The bathroom was in the room with the twin beds. There was also a sink, microwave, coffee and small refrigerator. Very comfortable beds. The room appeared to be relatively recently updated compared to the rest of the Inn. We were comfortable and it was a nice stay. They did a great job with the wedding reception, which was across the street from the Inn and beside the lake. We were truly impressed with the staff, the property, their great work with detail for the wedding and our comfortable stay.

It's a nice touch to have a skimobile in front of the hotel as homage to the past Mount Cranmore resort area that I used to vacation frequently. The staff in front was pretty polite and friendly, though I did not have to interact with them very much. This is a good choice if you wanted a hotel closer to the North Conway Village, though you probably still would have to drive or bike there.

We stayed in the Robin's Nest cabin, which was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The wood stove was fabulous and kept us warm in the chilly but mild fall evenings, and I'm sure it would put out plenty of heat for a winter stay as well. We were the only guests on the property, so it was QUIET and so, so serene. I'm sure if other guests were there it would still be both of those things. The cabins and yurts are spread out and hidden in the woods, so privacy is always possible. There was a yoga class on Saturday morning that we missed (we decided to sleep in, too cozy), but I'd love to try that when we return. And we couldn't return too soon. The caretaker Erica had just arrived to take over for the winter, and she was so gracious and friendly. She left us sweet notes and made every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. On Saturday we got to use the sauna. The SAUNA. Oh lord, if this lifetime gives me one gift let it be a sauna like that one. Erica went early to get the fire going and we were welcomed to the most beautiful sanctuary with plenty of fresh water for drinking and bathing, some snacks, and flickering candles. We spent a couple of hours moving back and forth from the steamy cedar benches to the woods outside on a rainy evening. It was heaven. Molly the resident cat came and hung out with us several times. She was so sweet and funny, and very polite. If you want her to leave just show her the door and she'll waddle happily down the path. We were sad to leave on Sunday but also so grateful for the time we had together in the Maine woods, and grateful to have found this wonderful spot. A couple of small things...see 5 stars above, these are minor issues, but could be useful to future guests: The grounds are perched onto the side of a mountain, and some of the buildings are separated by steep paths. This means that this place would not be a good option for people who have serious physical limitations (with exceptions). While the website does mention things like "a short climb by foot" it could be more clear about how rugged the site is. For people who live and work there these climbs are a piece of cake, but for others it might be a real challenge. For instance, the Harmony cabin is right next to the yoga studio and group space, so that would be ideal for those looking for accessibility. But if you wanted to take a shower, it's a *steep* hike up to the Pioneer cabin where the showers are. Just something to keep in mind if you or someone in your party might need accommodations. Also, one comfortable reading chair in the cabin would be a big bonus, especially for longer stays. The rocking chair in the cabin is TINY, neither my husband or I could sit in it comfortably. Overall, Nurture though Nature is a wonderful place and you will feel blessed to spend some time there. We can't wait to return!

Maybe I forgot what it's like to have a fireplace from my childhood when I lived in Massachusetts. The downside is there's no coffee maker in the room and even though they have complementary coffee in the lobby they don't open until 8 AM. I'm an early riser and I wanted to get to the white Mountain national Park early so that meant I had to go a few blocks to Dunkin' Donuts to get myself some coffee. There is no breakfast included. If you get the basic room it's worth it because the rates are much half that of those with upgrades. The front desk clerk had zero personality and refused to honor the online price which was $50 less than what I paid when I reserved the room. That is just not nice. On the other hand the guy from Turkey that cleaned our room was super nice and kind to us. Would I stay here again? Yes, but I probably will not book ahead of time if it's not busy season also, there is no direct mountain view, you have to look sideways.

We were able to book same-day without issue and they were very accommodating and made sure we would have the same room for both nights. The room was very clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Our niece left her AirPods in her room and didn't realize it until after checkout. When she called later that day- they were holding them for her in the office. I was really impressed with this honesty. We would all definitely stay there again.
