I just drove all the way to their location on Encanto. The location is basically a warehouse with no showroom, and was tricky to find. I was ready to order tables, chairs, dishes, glasses, flatware, tablecloths for a party, only to find that they don't offer most of that stuff anymore.....even though it is all still advertised as available on their website. I just wasted a few hours and now need to start looking for a new company from scratch. Disappointing.

Use A-Z Rents they know how to do Parties. If you are a school or PTO, DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! It is a bait and switch operation. I can see why this is a 1 star operation. The only reason they get one star is that their equipment is great and their person they sent to set it up and stay was amazing. Other than that. Their contract is draconian and they don't stand behind their quote. I signed a contract for a date that was during their "peak season". They were very aware of the dates I was holding the event. When I went to pay the contract that I had already signed for one price they told me, "Oh well you are holding your event in "peak season" and it is 25% more. I said to them that they were aware of the date of my event and that they should have estimated it for their "peak season" (They kept repeating this word as if I had never booked a hotel room during "peak season"). I had another estimate for practically the same price and chose this group as it appeared initially that they were the more professional. Boy was I wrong. I was over a barrel and had to pay for the item at the price they requested as this was an event for over 200 people and I had a week until it was going to occur. They were unavailable to discuss the problem, when I did discuss the problem they treated me like I was unreasonable in asking them to stand behind their original quote. The event almost had to be cancelled due to weather and wind. (It was an outdoor movie). I was informed at that time that I would be charged, weather or not. I could reschedule but if I cancelled I was on the hook for the entire cost. It was almost like they were happy about it. This was a school event 5 weeks before the end of the school year. No possibility of changing the date during their "peak season". I wonder what they would have said, "OK, lets do it next year." I'm sure they would have said, ok but that will be 25% more as it will be peak season and prices will be higher next year. What a sucky place. BTW, if you do care about your reviews I'm signing an agreement for over $2000 in bouncy. houses on Monday. Not with your company.

It is a live-in artisian community for those wanting to perfect a certain type of bell making technic. The setting is mystical as it reminded me of a Hollywood movie set. It was beautiful in a unique way. I was glad to be attending a Cloth and Flame dinner here tonight. Cloth and Flame (C and F) had enhanced the surroundings with a bar, spa-like soothing music and mood lighting. Hors d'oeuvres were served while people mingled and engaged in pleasant conversations. An introduction was made of C and F, Arcosant staff and residents. They explained the mission of Arcosanti and shared the founder's vision. The bell was sounded and we all took our assigned seats for an incredible evening and fabulous food. Around 75 people sat at assigned seats for a delicious family style meal. Being seated in this manner forced you to meet and have conversations with couples on your right and left. It was a community feeling for a dinner that I don't get at a normal restaurant. People were open, engaging, friendly and warm. It was like dining at a friend's house with additional guests you have never met. The ambience was only outdone by the quality and flavor of the food. I have included a copy of the menu. We started with a mushroom, roasted garlic and allum crema. I am a huge fan of mushrooms and was not disappointed but had to remember, this was meant to be shared with others at the table. The next dish was a salad with cauliflower, raisins, berry mixture and mint. It was a completely different taste profile and a welcomed surprise to my taste buds. The orange flavored salmon filets and beef tenderloin with chimichurri sauces was perfectly cooked and moist. This is not easy to accomplish as they had to be served to all guests at once and were spot on. Great job by the chefs! Our dessert was a corn marscapone with strawberries. If you are looking to have a special evening with incredibly prepared food in a mystical setting, call Cloth and Flame. It will be a memorable evening and an enriching experience for those attending. Strung Up provided bistro lighting, banquet tables and linens for my daughter Quinceanera and it was perfect! The bistro lights made a dramatic effect to the ceiling and the up lighting transformed the gym to an elegant reception hall! The linens were a lovely heavy thread count and the tables were all strong, solid and in new condition. That is rare in the rental business. Tables can be in rough condition sometimes but not with Strung Up! Everything was new! They exceeded far beyond my expectations. Not only did they do a great set up and take down but they offered great event advice, met with me regularly, kept the lines of communication open and responded quickly AND when a previous event had damaged some of their equipment, they rushed a whole new shipment in time for my daughters party! They paid for the rush shipping to ensure I would have all that I needed. I've been in the party rental business for over a decade and am a tough customer.
