Social media is filled with places to go but they're almost all filled to the brim with other like minded folks. Cherry Acres is luckily new-ish enough that you won't be shoulder checking another family for baby's first Fall photo. A little pricy if you're a large family and don't partake in all the activities. The Big Red Barn has a lot of fresh fruit, baked goods, and other treats to choose from. The real fun is when you pick the fruit yourself though. We got ourselves some sweet blackberries to take home. Out on the farm, we had the best tractor ride and learned some fun facts about fruits, as well as slid on the huge slide and played some outdoor games. While we were here, we ate some oakie pies. My favorite is thanksgiving dinner. It tastes just like November-- Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, and gravy. They have other tasty savory pies like the chicken pot pie, blueberry pulled pork, and the breakfast pie. Of course, you could get some sweet ones too! The service is very friendly and the farm truly has fun for everyone! I can't wait to come back for stone fruit season.

I would say it's priced out pretty fair. They also have a corn maze, but we didn't partake due to limited time as we came to town to visit family. It also makes great place for the cutest background fall pictures. The reason for my 4 stars is because I saw dog poop squished in one of the areas and there was so many flies due to rotting pumpkins. I think there should be a daily checks before opening to check for the over ripened pumpkins and toss those to animals in the petting zoo. I stepped on pieces of squishy pumpkins that was close to other pumpkins that looked ok and it was slippery. I would still recommend coming here. The staff is very kind, lots of shade and the layout was very nice. This place was packed! I gotta say even for how full it was, other customers were just as nice and patient waiting their turns for photo ops. I look forward to coming back and hopefully have time to go through their corn maze.

They also offered us free apple juice samples made right there with a juicer when we went to pay. Apples were reasonably priced and it was a fun way to spend a few hours. I also love that it is thick and creamy enough to be a dipping sauce but not so thick that it I don't like using it as a salad dressing.
