Social media is filled with places to go but they're almost all filled to the brim with other like minded folks. Cherry Acres is luckily new-ish enough that you won't be shoulder checking another family for baby's first Fall photo. A little pricy if you're a large family and don't partake in all the activities. We were able to grab the last of the season's navel and Cara Cara oranges, along with some fresh lemons. Everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. We also picked up some dates, which are absolutely delicious. I love mine stuffed with good Irish butter and cheddar, it's the perfect sweet and savory combo. My wife prefers hers with Skippy peanut butter, and she absolutely loves them. As always, the staff were wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. It's become a bit of a tradition for us, and we'll definitely keep coming back every time we're in the area.

I ended up purchasing a bottle of honey from The Honey Comb and Almond & Peanut nut butter combo from PB Jack's Nutbutter. I also bought two large pink grapefruits for $5. I wasn't going to buy anything else but an Iced Matcha Latte from Jittery Geeks was calling my name. It had a great match flavor and sweetened a bit by vanilla syrup. It has a real homely feel and the young lady working was so kind! She was actually the daughter in law of the owner and she was just really personable. You can either buy your baskets right away or look around the shop. Lots of good stuff in the shop, but you should wait until you are heading out to grab stuff. After we paid for our baskets, we loaded into the tram and was driven to the cherry area. When you stopped, the attendances guided us to the 3 rows we can pick from. I understand to keep the crowd controlled and make sure the farm doesn't get trampled. The weather was perfect so we took our time, walked to the back of the rows and moved forward as we picked. They were red and beautiful, grabbed our baskets once they were full and headed back. He did buy some strawberries and honey comb inside the Little Purple Barn. You do have to come early for the pies, there may not have any later in the day. The cherry picking is only on the weekends.

The reason for my 4 stars is because I saw dog poop squished in one of the areas and there was so many flies due to rotting pumpkins. I think there should be a daily checks before opening to check for the over ripened pumpkins and toss those to animals in the petting zoo. I stepped on pieces of squishy pumpkins that was close to other pumpkins that looked ok and it was slippery. I would still recommend coming here. The staff is very kind, lots of shade and the layout was very nice. This place was packed! I gotta say even for how full it was, other customers were just as nice and patient waiting their turns for photo ops. I look forward to coming back and hopefully have time to go through their corn maze.

First impression was similar to the Asia market on White Lane, maybe less cluttered, more like a small supermarket. Walking the isles I didn't see it. To make sure I asked a stock clerk. He was friendly, hadn't heard of HP Sauce but walked me to where it might be. No luck. I didn't want to leave empty handed so brought an apple soda in a clear plastic can shaped like an aluminum can up to the register. I guess they took those earlier negative reviews to heart. The cashier, a man in his 40s or 50s, was so friendly. Joking with me in a dad joke way then gifting me a little morsel on my way out. I'm sure no one else gets treats, I was wearing my cervical collar, pretty sad looking. They have a lot of different foods there. Great produce. Just don't count on finding much British food.
