I have to say this is an adorable pumpkin patch. So many cute pumpkins to choose from. They also have corn stalks for sale, some snack vendors and petting zoo. I would say it's priced out pretty fair. They also have a corn maze, but we didn't partake due to limited time as we came to town to visit family. It also makes great place for the cutest background fall pictures. The reason for my 4 stars is because I saw dog poop squished in one of the areas and there was so many flies due to rotting pumpkins. I think there should be a daily checks before opening to check for the over ripened pumpkins and toss those to animals in the petting zoo. I stepped on pieces of squishy pumpkins that was close to other pumpkins that looked ok and it was slippery. I would still recommend coming here. The staff is very kind, lots of shade and the layout was very nice. This place was packed! I gotta say even for how full it was, other customers were just as nice and patient waiting their turns for photo ops. I have been coming to Banducci's Pumpkin Patch for years and it's my favorite pumpkin patch for many reasons! I love the low cost entry fee, the beautiful photo op's throughout the farm, highest quality pumpkins (seriously have had pumpkins last on my porch well past Thanksgiving), and location (super close to my house). I have now made it a tradition to come every year for my youngest birthday as he's born in October! The employees are all so kind and very welcoming. I love the addition of the agua Fresca truck and other food vendors! Highly recommend coming in the evening as the lighting of the farm makes it exrra magical! Thank you to this wonderful local farm! Great experience! My sister and I bright our families to take pictures at Banducci's. I'd already taken my four-month-old to a pumpkin patch where we live in the Bay Area, but we reserved Banducci's for the three cousins. We came a day after a big rainstorm, so the lot was a bit muddy. However, the rain didn't dampen the scenery or anything. Banducci's has rows and rows of pumpkins, a scenic pond, gorgeous trees, a small petting zoo with goats, a concession stand, and of course the corn maze. We didn't take part in the corn maze since we had three kids under three. There are ample photo opportunities, and if you can go in the morning--do it! We paid $5 for each adult. I meant to find out the pricing of the pumpkins, but since we really came here for photos and not pumpkins I failed to do this! Anyway, enjoy your time here! read more

visited this pumpkin patch while we were visiting friends in Bakersfield. we went late morning on a Saturday and it was a little busy but not too crazy. parking was easy. there are wagons up front you can use to load up your pumpkin finds. they have lots of different sizes but majority of them are orange - you won't find many unique looking ones here. there are lots of photo ops here, those signs where you can stick your head in, a really nice looking cinderella carriage in pumpkin form. one star knocked off because their pond is more like a swamp? its green and smells. i wasn't sure if this was on purpose but there was also an obscene amount of flies, it was really gross. another star knocked off because when I first went to pay for pumpkins, I heard the cashier tell the lady in front of me the small white pumpkins are $1. i thought that was a deal so I ran back out to grab some small white ones and the cashier I got said they were $2 each. I'm not sure if they just make up their prices as they go or what but it was not the same across the board. overall, its a nice pumpkin patch, especially if you live close by but I won't be coming back if I'm ever in town again. read more

We went on a Sunday in October and it was pretty packed with people. We didn't mind we should have known better. What we did mind were all the flies. Unfortunately, there are rotting pumpkins all over and there was a dead bird in the bird enclosure. We didn't like any of that. It was my first time at any pumpkin patch, ever. I was able to take my two children and Banducci's created cute little picture perfect moments. We had a good time overall. Shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes to go end to end at a toddler's walking pace. Admission was five dollars per adult. They had pumpkins of all normal sizes but mostly orange only, that I can recall. The pond and mini bridge created cute picture moments. I'm giving it four stars because of the following: -The pathway, due to circumstances, should be one continuous flow instead of crossing back to get out of dead ends. -Ten dollar pony ride signs every where but no ponies to ride. -Dirt parking lot. Prep the all terrain stroller/wagon. Bring bug repellent and sunscreen for the little ones. -When coming and going, it's a High speed limit street to turn onto. Can be dangerous for some. -Went here because we saw there was a corn maze however was not open when we visited. read more

Our first time here. It was enjoyable but definitely not our preferred pumpkin patch. $5 admission includes one run through the corn maze. You pay for your pumpkin based on size. We opted to only get pumpkins for our littles. It was packed which made it miserable for us because we had to use a stroller. They don't have very many wagons for families to use when selecting pumpkins. I didn't hate it, I didn't love it. I loved supporting local though and would do it again. read more

The dust is so bad here, hopefully they can get water trucks to spray it down sometime. Our entire family had sinus issues after this twice and bad as the fair. We have gone to this pumpkin patch for years and are always amazed at the HUGE turnout. Whether we go two days before Halloween (like we did this year, Woops! lol) or weeks ahead of time, there's always a crowd, but with good reason. They have SO MANY photo opps! They moved the entrance and exit this year and expanded the pumpkin patch and I loved the changes. They allowed for more space to walk and more places to take photos. They have giant wheel barrows full of pumpkins with backdrops all over and pumpkins of all shapes, sizes, and colors! You'll see a bunch of people dressed up in fancy clothes with a photographer guiding them as well as kids in their Halloween costumes ready to get their photos taken. Even people in regular clothes just to buy some pumpkins! We always buy our pumpkins here and I feel the pricing is perfect for the size pumpkins we get. They are priced by size and almost always err on the low side which is so awesome. If you don't want to make the drive to the giant patch off the 58 and want a ton of great photo opps, I'd head here! They even have a couple of small food vendors, animals, and a pony ride! It's a great place for all your pumpkin patch needs. read more

A lot of reviews talking about rude employees, "they asked me to put my pumpkin back when I didn't want to buy it," and so on but I didn't experience any rude employees. The pumpkins were all very reasonably priced so much so that I was actually shocked at how cheap they were. The employees were quick and efficient checking everyone out. I can see how there is confusion around pricing since its by size and there aren't prices posted. If you are curious on the prices walk to the checkout area and you'll get a better idea. They have a lot of visitors every year and the grounds are always clean, well kept and fun! Bring your family and have a good time! Go early and miss the rush but bring a jacket for the kids and prepare for a little dirt or mud if it's rained. There's plenty of parking but it is in a dirt field. read more

There's plenty of spots to take family pictures, and the bridge overlooking the lake is beautiful (It's even better at night!) There's a petting zoo and pony rides that the little kids can enjoy. Every face I looked at no smiles no nothing just serious stares none of the workers looked happy at all. Our favorite pumpkin patch! Located just on Taft Highway just east of Buena Vista, you will find Banducci's. Parking lot is a giant dirt lot, so wear sneakers esp after a rain. Admission is free! When you enter, to the right is the register where you can see the prices of the pumpkins, arranged by increasing size/price. There are pumpkins of all sizes from tiny to huge and even white pumpkins to boot. There's several spots for taking photos on your own. In the center is a body of water. If you cross the bridge, you will find many of the ducks on the other side. There are also goats, sheep, quail, pheasants and turkeys to be viewed in their pens. There are pony rides for $5...they just go around in a small circle...but whatever makes your kid happy, right?! Off to the side is a giant corn maze which does cost admission of $3/person or $10/family. It's a fun thing to do before it gets dark. The path of the maze is well-paved. Which turned out amazing! We didn't have an appointment for the photos then but I guess she had some open time and she approached us if we wanted to have some taken... And so glad we did! This pumpkin patch is beautifully decorated for fall and Halloween. Great place to take fall and Halloween photos for the kids or the whole family. Admission is FREE. They have a variety of pumpkins and gourds for sale at great prices. This year they have pony rides for $5 and the corn maze is $3 per person or $10 for a family of 5. We will keep coming back to this place every year. And will have Natalie take our photos when our schedule allows. My 3 year old son saw a tiny pumpkin on the counter by checkout, the man behind the counter rudely said it was not for sale since it was display. As I'm in line not even a minute later, a little girl and her dad run up and she takes the pumpkin, I'm making dead eye contact with the man behind the counter and he says to the dad yea it's for sale she can take it. My son had no idea why that little girl could have it and he couldn't, when he had it first. This "family friendly" pumpkin patch is not very family friendly is they are willing to make a toddler upset over a pumpkin to then go back ahead and sell it to an older child. I have been bringing my children here for 5 years religiously. I won't be anymore. This experience was completely disheartening. read more

Every year for 13 years my family and I have been attending this pumpkin patch with no problems. This year finally did it for me. First of all there charging, which isn't a whole lot, but I'm sure there making enough with selling pumpkins and every other service that's out there. To me, this use to be a family place no matter the money they try to make. The entrance greeter was the most rudest person I've meet in a while. He had this rude sarcastic attitude,which he try to make you feel and look stupid. He also looked like an ex-convict. Or maybe he just had something against other racist besides his own. I have never experienced terrible customer service over the phone but there is always a first time. When I called, a younger girl answered with an angry hello. I asked her a few questions. She answered very rudely and then when I was in the middle of asking her name, she hung up on me. I called hoping to speak to an adult and a very old lady answered and she was worse.
