972 Admiral Callaghan Ln, Ste G Vallejo, CA 94591 "Froyo Max" is a small self-service, pay by weight, frozen yogurt shop in the Target Shopping Center. It has free parking, and is located next door to the Panda Express. Now, based upon the floor layout of Froyo Max, I will guess this used to be a Menchie's Frozen Yogurt location. As a Yelper, I have reviewed 35-40 fro-yo places in the SF Bay Region, and have been to 4 Menchie's. I visited Froyo Max on a Saturday during Labor Day weekend. Temps were hovering around 90*F with no wind. It was 5pm, and the place was busy. Lots of people inside, so I got in line. Observations: - two ladies working behind the counter - all the cups are the same size - hand sanitizer available - six machines, but only five are working - standard dry, wet, and liquid toppings. Nothing special. - they have pre-packed products to go. - only 2 tables inside, no tables outside. - NO SAMPLES Froyo Max had all my favorite flavors....Pineapple, mango, Lemonade, Strawberry, and Passion Fruit/ Guava. I topped it with jelly balls and caramel syrup. Aug 2025: Price per Ounce is 84 cents/oz. The frozen yogurt was very good, and top quality. It stood up well against 90*F heat for at least 5-10 minutes. Very good flavor, icy cold, and no chalky after taste. I really liked the Strawberry fro-yo. It was super creamy like soft serve ice cream. Rich creamy texture! Big negative, they don't open until 1pm?! I will agree with the other reviewer, it's not cool to open so late. Most fro-yo places open by 12 noon. Other negs, limited seating and no sampling. But, you have very good frozen yogurt, and I will return if I'm in the area.

Same Yogurt. Prices are equivalent to other Froyo places. But, as of June, 2026, they no longer have a rewards system.

I wasn't in the mood for them, so I skipped them but sounds like I need to try them. I tried some of the assortment of pan, and each of the things I got was solid. I enjoyed them all and wouldn't be against eating them again. They have a number of different things available to choose from, and I had some choices to make. I'll definitely be hack to try some other things. I also got a licuado, and it was delicious. I got one with mango, but they have a number to choose from and I'll try another one when in town. The staff that were there were great.

I've been coming to La Michoacana regularly for a long time and have always enjoyed their ice…read morecream, pan dulce, and other items. I've never had an issue until this visit, which is why I feel the need to share this experience. This was my first time purchasing a cake from here, and unfortunately it was extremely disappointing and concerning. When we cut into the cake at home, we noticed odd gray/green discoloration inside the cake, uneven texture, and areas that looked wet and broken down. It also had this awful smell and the appearance alone was enough to make us stop eating it immediately. This does not look like normal cake coloration or texture, and it raised serious food safety concerns. Cakes, especially those with moisture, fillings, or cream, should be closely monitored, and it seems like this one may have sat on display far too long. This is not just about taste or quality; someone could genuinely get sick from consuming something like this. What's disappointing is that I genuinely like this place and come here often, which makes this experience even more frustrating. I really hope management takes this seriously and re-evaluates how long cakes are kept on display before being discarded. Freshness and safety should never be compromised. I'm sharing this not to bash the business, but because I believe they can and should do better, especially since many families shop here regularly.
