Dr Gross is now retiring and they have really dropped the ball on on his patients. I've went almost 4 months without medication because I was 12 minutes late for one appointment. I also called and said I was running behind.. wasn't one person in the waiting room. Maybe stop taking so many new patients and do right by the ones who have stuck by with you! I will try one more time before I go elsewhere! Not to mention I didn't even get to say goodbye to my doctor of 30+ years....

When I walked in, there were several people at the front desk, apparently representing different clinics (OB, Family Medicine, etc.). Since I wasn't sure where I was supposed to check in for my lab appointment, I approached one of the front desk employees. She had mid-length blonde hair and glasses and was looking down at her phone. I politely asked her where I needed to go for my lab appointment. Without asking me what type of appointment I had, which clinic I was there for, or making any effort to help me, she simply looked up and said, "Over there," while gesturing in a general direction, then immediately went back to looking at her phone. I was honestly confused and felt like I was bothering her by asking for assistance. It would have taken only a few seconds to ask, "Which clinic are you here for?" and point me in the right direction. I eventually went to another front desk employee and explained that I had a lab appointment. She was very kind and helpful and asked whether I was there for OB or Family Medicine. I told her OB, and she directed me to the appropriate area. The third employee then helped me check in and even led me to the lab, which I appreciated. My issue isn't that I needed someone to walk me through the entire process. It's the attitude and lack of basic courtesy from the first employee. When someone walks into a medical facility and simply asks where they need to go, they shouldn't be made to feel like an inconvenience. Thankfully, the other employees I interacted with were helpful and pleasant, but that first interaction left a very negative impression. I hope management addresses the importance of basic customer service and professionalism with the front desk staff.

Excellent Staff and Service…read more When I moved back to the Charlotte area 22 years ago, someone suggested Dr. David Cook of Lakeside Family Physicians as a primary care giver. At that time, Lakeside was only three physicians in very small offices off of West Catawba Ave in Cornelius. Several years later, they built larger facilities in Jetton Village right down the street. Fast forward to 2017 and much has changed. The became part of Novant and now there are probably at least 20 Lakeside Offices in the area. About a year ago, they built another facility at Langtree up 1-77 and Dr, Cook moved his team up there. Not that far away. For continuity they operate as teams of probably four to insure quality of service. What has not changed is the level of service and the care they provide their patients. By using a team approach, you generally see a member of the team each time you go unless it is an emergency. so your service is more personal. Today I had my annual physical and Nancy Deem NP provided me with great service. She already knows my background and medical history so that speeds things up. Had my physical, chest x-rays and blood work in just over an hour. Everything was very through and should have final lab results in by tomorrow. It's been a good 22 years and through referrals from Dr. Cook, I have a great network of healthcare professionals I've used over the years,

First visit went pretty well: Doctor Bailey was pleasant enough, attentive, and seems a decent sort. If everything goes well with my blood work I'll be back in six months. That isn't likely to happen after a year of not working in or out... Surprise! Four days after the Huntersville City Barbeque hurricane party -n- Yelp event my labs came back a little off: SatFat and cholesterol were about 1000cc/liter plus smokey goodness. After some whining and explaining Dr B agreed to a mulligan so I got do-over appointment for the day after the Amelie's + PIC Made in Charlotte event!? Have to start doing manual yard work and eating less badly, less often, and just plain less... Labs came back "normal" somehow. Yea!

Denied care over vaccine. Brought my daughter in for appendicitis. They never mentioned they ONLY…read moresee children FULLY vaccinated. Not on the phone when I made the appointment nor in the paperwork they provided when I arrived!! We were taken to an exam room, where the nurse asked if we were current on all vaccines and I said she wasn't. The nurse said the provider would not see us if she wasn't fully vaccinated. Then, she left and the front office came in to the exam room and asked us to leave. They escorted my 14 year old daughter out of the exam area!! No questions on why my daughter wasn't fully vaccinated nor care. If you want to have the opportunity to make these decisions for yourself, and don't want to have your child escorted out of the exam area for not being fully vaccinated to their liking - find another provider.

Wow...I honestly don't know how this place still holds a license…read more My 3 months old son had a bad irritation on his cheek and discharge in one of his eyes and we decided to see a doctor there, since it was quite close to where we were (we were visiting family in that area). The doctor wasn't available and I agreed to see a NP (Parker), since I thought this type of problem is probably common and can be diagnosed and treated even by a NP. 1. The nurse who assists NP Parker couldn't take temperature: she couldn't work the ear thermometer. Even I know that those are not effective for this size of a child. She had to ask for help a RN to take temperature. 2. NP Parker put my naked baby on the table and put nothing under him. I had to go and find a piece of paper to put under him. 3. NP Parker was performing the exam without much confidence and was telling us that this was eczema, seemed to be reeling off a text book describing what this skin condition was. 4. She prescribed antihistamines for eczema; even I know that those are useless. She prescribed those to take twice a day for 6 months! We followed up with our regular pediatrician on the phone and were told not to take the prescribed medications and instead faxed us a prescription for topical cream. So much money wasted...
