The red beans and rice is actually pretty good! Their tartar sauce has been adjusted and has an orangish color with orange speckles. Overall, this quick service restaurant was alright for me but they are definitely trying to make it a to-go kind of place and for me, I am looking for a nice sit down place to relax during my lunch break without all the loud music, hustle and bustle. Parking is shared in the plaza and was smaller than expected. The restaurant is fairly large - wide and the buffet bar is pretty big. There are the standard buffet options fried rice, lo mein, beef and broccoli, orange chicken, chicken wings, dumplings, egg rolls, spring rolls, etc and a good assortment of seafood - shrimp, fish, clams, mussels, and more. The usual battered and fried stuff. And of course pizza. There is a separate section of sushi - rolls, nigiri, etc. There is also a few soups and a small salad and sauce bar. They had Chinese bbq buns, custard buns and the Chinese style sticky rice (wrapped in banana leaf). There are dessert options too like ice cream, fruit, pudding, cakes, and slushies. They also have a hibachi grill and what they called a hot pot (but was more like a bowl of noodle soup). The hibachi grill noodles were good. There aren't a lot of options but plenty of meats. The hot pot soup (spicy) seemed to use a Sichuan style chili which altered the taste of the soup a bit. Get regular and add your own spice. The staff were friendly and attentive.
