They called before they were on their way to deliver the dumpster, which is nice. They did not call when they picked it up. They offer to charge an extra fee for additional days if needed. She answered all my questions (I said I needed to think about what was the best service/company to fit my needs), and kept me informed by email about booking, delivery and pick up. I rented it for a week for $310 but it was so hot that week I only worked in the morning going through boxes and throwing all the things I now didn't need, so I decided to rent for another week - it was only an extra $5/day! I ended up extending another 2 days (it was a holiday weekend) because there was still space in the dumpster to get rid of clutter in my attic and a broken chair! The dumpster has a plastic lid but I used 3 bicycle locks roped together to keep the lid secure in case someone else in my neighborhood decided to use it! I had it parked in my driveway which had a slight slope but the guy who deliver it found some cut off wood in my garage to secure it from rolling away and secured it by putting them under the four wheels at angles. My room is now clutter free and it was great dealing with EDCO and their staff! If you want to get rid of clutter I highly recommend hiring a dumpster from EDCO.

Their price is extremely reasonable for the service. The truck showed up on time and I was texted when the driver was on his way. There's no waiting for a huge window of time. Very prompt and superb communication on delievery and pickup. Probably the best part of the business is the skill and understanding the driver has when delivering the vessel. He kept the dumpster off of the sidewalk (so I wouldn't have any code enforcement issues), gave me plenty of room to open the dumpster's doors, even with the vessel placed in my driveway. Rain was in the forecast when my dumpster was delivered, so the driver went out of his way to explain to me how to prevent my general waste from getting waterlogged and costing extra due to the additional weight. He explained how I should use a tarp and how to connect it so rain water didn't fill in center of the tarp and sag it to the point where I would have an extra problem to deal with. His tips were invaluable. It is clear this is a family owned business that works with an old-world business mentality. They do things right and offer a great service to customers.
