Chaz called me back within 30 minutes and had his tech guy Greg coming out same day to assess the issue. My landlord decided to contact her warranty company,they sent out the most obnoxious guy who said NJNG did not know what they were talking about and he claimed he fixed it. Two days later the furnace rattled, whistled and popped. So again our heat had to be turned off. Then the warranty co had these two guys who didn't speak English, did not know where to look for the problem, and promptly said, "no good".I, in frustration went on my FB page, saw Brown's Heating, Cooling and Plumbing and wrote them explaining the situation. That SAME day, I got a response from Doug Brown who put me in touch with Paul Keator, who then came over THAT afternoon, and looked at it and agreed with NJNG....he told us we could have a new furnace in 2 days, which as of today has come true. Their quote and cost was even $1000 less than NJNG's quote. The techs came at 9am this morning, they were professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. Thank you to Doug for replying to my cry for help and for Paul and his help, and to the techs who came out today.....you all are great and you deserve an A+ rating.

I was ready to be very worried about this job, but Dennis assured me that he and the team had fixed similar problems in Ocean Grove, and he seemed confident they could do the same for me. It took a LOT of work, including clearing over 90 feet of the pipe and installing several feet of new pipe, replacing that part of the terracotta pipeline. They had to dig beneath one of the garden beds and were careful to lift out each of the plants so we could easily replant when the job was done. It took two days; the team worked diligently, the result was better than I'd hoped for, and the price was reasonable for the work involved.
