Then, we get an email from Susan today saying they are too busy to do the quote or pursue the project due to our timeline, which was just to start the project early next year. I think we dodged a bullet. I have no tolerance for people who give you the runaround and then don't follow through on their end. I run 2 businesses, and if I treated my clients like that, I would have been out of business a long time ago. If you don't have the time to do projects stop wasting potential clients time and just tell them up front that you aren't taking on any new projects.

On April 20, 2026, Pat, a sales representative with Royal Outdoor Living (ROL) came to our home to…read morediscuss the addition of a screened in porch. Pat was very professional and knowledgeable. He left saying we could expect an estimate within 48 hours. We never heard from Pat, so we emailed him on April 23 asking when we would receive an estimate - there was no response from Pat - no estimate, no call, no communication from him at all!!! On April 25 we received an email from ROL asking how the visit from their rep went. We responded saying we never heard from Pat with an estimate. To our surprise, there was no follow up response from the ROL office concerning the estimate. We began seeing a pattern of no communication with ROL. As I mentioned earlier, we though Pat was professional and knowledgeable. It's a shame ROL sent a representative to talk with us about work on our home, and then there was no follow up with an estimate and there was no follow up to our complaint that we had not heard from Pat. I don't recommend using this company based on their lack of follow up.

I purchased a 4 year old model home with sliding 3 piece glass (PPG) patio doors, originally…read moreinstalled by 84 Lumber. I had a problem with polymeric end pieces separating. The builder informed me that I had purchased the model "as is" and they would not remedy the problem. They referred me to 84 Lumber. After two phone calls 84 Lumber responded and took complete responsibility to repair the system to like new condition at no cost. They left one small item unfinished, but returned 3 days later with the last remaining finish piece to make the door look perfect. An admirable work ethic and knowledgeable work skills to finish the job properly.
