Enjoyed a 10 day stay. Resort is clean. Decor is quite dated. Laundry facilities could be improved; no change machine & staff on site not overly helpful on maintaining sufficient change to aid the guests. Would love to have a better avenue of communication to the resort; their website & Facebook page are not monitored at all. You won't get responses at all. (Even if you show interest in purchasing) all said I will return.

I was checking in on 11/23/19, while doing so a gentleman found it necessary to stand beside me instead of behind and waiting to be asked to the counter. Although there was an issue with my credit card, Sabrina was kind enough to help someone else check in and while I figured things out. I continued to check in with no issues. Later that night, while guests where over, the door between the living and bedroom become jammed and locked. I called the front desk from the hall, because the phone was in the locked room. The receptionist came 30 MINUTES later to see what was going on. Because maintenance was already gone for the night. The receptionist then told us, there was nothing he could do for the rest of the night. And that my guests would have to stay here(hotel), until the next day. (keep in mind there was notices around the property that if you DO NOT have a parking pass you will be towed. Even if a pass was provided, how would it be put in the car when then keys are locked in the room. Roughly 30 minutes after the receptionists left, security came and tried to open the door like everyone else. Now 2 hours go by with no word from anyone. Myself and a guests went downstairs to tell them, there was a medical reason we needed the door open, but before we could, they decided to break it down. After the door was opened, I was left to clean up the pieces from the broken door (charge for cleaning service), that was made of cardboard. I was left in a room with broken door. Not one time after the incident did anyone from the hotel staff reach out to me. I checked out on 11/25/19 with Sarina(bad attitude) not to be confused with Sabrina(very helpful), and provided her with the door knob, explained the situation and asked to speak to the manager on duty, which was John Perez(GM), but told I had to speak with Keneisha(Front Office Assistant Manager). I asked Sarina to have whomever call me to discuss what happened, her LACK of concern wasn't a surprise as she barely cared to work. After she checked me out, I was told I was free to go... Well I wasn't! if she would've looked, she would've noticed I made a cash deposit. I believe this hotel has a policy of not reminding guests checking out, about their CASH deposits. (Note, I was told that if I did NOT have the copy of my receipt, my deposit was forfeited.) After waiting until 4pm EST to receive a call from John Perez, I called and was advised he WAS there when I checked out, and left at 3pm. I was when transfer to Keneisha, and explained the situation and she passed me off to John Perez's voicemail and left a message. I called and spoke to Keneisha again and she told me, the owner of the unit NEVER complained about the doorknob and it was MY fault for it being jammed based on what she was looking at. Well, if she was looking at it, you could tell the lock would NOT retract, therefore when it was last closed it wouldn't reopen. as of 9:45am on 11/26, I still have not heard from the hotel.

They have Roaches!!! One - I can live. Apologize and maybe move on. But NO! We ordered Pizza. Husband Put the Empty Box down for a second. Goes back 15 mins later .... ROACHES scatter out the box. All excited because we are there. Dinner comes. We eat and Roaches come out to say Hello. Called the front desk. Says he will come and spray. Ok. No apology? Empathy? Nothing. Stinks up the room with roach spray. We left. We were told they will have an exterminator come in and spray on Tuesday. This was SATURDAY!!! Who does that?! Says it's common in the area. We are on the 14th floor!!! These roaches are living here and infested. Couldn't let them ruin my vacation. We locked ourself in the seemingly safe bedroom (towel under the door) because we went on a cruise Monday. Fast Forward!!!! Returned to the Room Friday... Telllll me why y'all - housekeeping came, filled towels, gave us soap, but DID NOT empty trash, DIDNT MAKE THE BED.... and DID NOT exterminate. I kid you not, my husband and I sat at the table to eat and a roach walked up the mirror behind him - ready to eat too! We went to the lobby and ate on the couch. No offer for a new room. No apology. Nothing. Lies and excuses. Don't waste your time with this place. It's old and needs new staff, renovations, and Exterminator I'll need therapy after this.

This Resort has the old style Resort feeling. Not to elaborate just comfortable enough get that home feel. Nice because it's small enough to get to know everyone. Definitely need to visit Santi at the bar by the pool. He makes the atmosphere a fun yet relaxing time! Great personality and service!

We arrived around 9 am after our cruise, and our assigned upgraded room (suite) was not ready. The front desk receptionist, Dominique, was most helpful and gave us 5 star service in looking for a room with a balcony that was available for us. She found one and upgraded us to an ocean front. It was truly the BEST ocean front room we have ever had in Ft Lauderdale and Miami. I would have loved to stay longer just to enjoy the view more. We had a mini-suite, versus the regular suite which would not have had the balcony. Room 1715. Big shower, comfortable sitting chair, large balcony with cushioned chairs and table, Lavazza coffee, ironing board. We were so close, we could hear the ocean waves. Pool was fine. Hot tub. By the pool were cushioned lounge chairs and umbrellas, but some of the cushions were flat. A pool attendant said new cushions were on order for next year, so it would be better. A shout-out to the pool attendant who dragged over a different chair with a cushion that had some cushion left in it for me. She was genuinely nice. There was also a separate section of chairs facing a wall closer to the bathroom, so if it was crowded, you would still be able to get a chair but not with a cushion. I liked the fitted towel covers they put over the chairs. It was chilly and windy when we were there, so I asked for an extra chair cover to use as a blanket. Periodically, the attendants came by with chilled water, frozen fruit. The pool-side service was excellent. Different servers may come by asking if you need anything or to pick up your dishes, since they work as a team. The hamburger and fries was delicious ($35). Chicken tenders were pretty good. The alcohol drinks were $20. I liked the non-alcoholic mango daiquiri. ' I highly recommend making reservations at Takata, Japanese restaurant at the hotel. It got packed later and everything was absolutely delicious - one of the best dinners in Ft Lauderdale we have had in over 20 years. It is also open for breakfast. I had the avocado toast which was okay. Down the street in the shopping center is a CVS. We have stayed in a number of Ft Lauderdale hotels over the years for a cruise. The outstanding service from Dominique at the front desk to the pool attendants and servers, the Takata server all were phenomenal. The room was incredible and we appreciated the generous supply of Lavazza coffee and microwave. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Conrad, and it will be at the top of our list next time we are in Ft Lauderdale.

Our experience at Snooze Hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish…read more When we arrived, the toilet contained yellow water, the couch had obvious cat urine stains and a strong odor that appeared to have been covered up with a blanket, the shower had no hot water, and neither the TV nor the Wi-Fi worked during our stay. The most frustrating part of our stay happened later that evening. We accidentally locked our room keys in our second room. While I fully acknowledge that this was our mistake, we did everything we possibly could to resolve it. Beginning around 8:30 p.m., we repeatedly called the hotel's emergency/after-hours number. We called approximately 25 times, left multiple voicemails, and never received a single callback. As a result, five people were forced to sleep in one king-size bed, and one member of our group was unable to access important medication that had been left in the locked room. An emergency phone line exists for situations exactly like this, and in our case, it completely failed. The following morning, when we went to the front desk, we were met with skepticism rather than concern. The owner did not believe we had called so many times and required us to provide screenshots of our call history before they would acknowledge what had happened. To make matters worse, we were told we would receive a full refund, but the owner repeatedly changed his position, making the situation even more frustrating and unprofessional. Everyone makes mistakes, and we accepted responsibility for accidentally locking our keys in the room. However, the hotel's complete lack of after-hours support, poor communication, unsanitary room conditions, broken amenities, and inconsistent handling of our complaint turned a simple mistake into an unnecessarily stressful experience. I cannot recommend staying here. Between the unsanitary conditions, nonfunctioning hot water, TV and Wi-Fi, nonexistent after-hours assistance, and the way the owner handled our concerns, this was one of the worst hotel experience we've ever had.

There are no Bonvoy elite perks- though titanium, they didn't do anything special for elite status. The pool & service were fantastic though! The stocked mini fridge was a letdown bc it was broken & maintenance couldn't fix it so they brought in another, which was great but took up space. The service from Rodney on the pool deck was wonderful, he was so professional & still went out of his way to make our days great. The burger was delicious but a little too undercooked for Joey. We got there via train and uber so I can't speak for the parking. Our room was not ready when we checked in at 1, even though I mentioned on the bonvoy app that I would be arriving at 1. We were not offered any upgrade, we did not get thanked for our titanium elite status, and they did not offer us a welcome cocktail or bottled water on arrival. I say these things because when our room was finally ready - we saw others getting checked in and receiving these things. Thankfully they have a place to store luggage. We used the lobby restrooms to change and get prepped for our first day at the concert. We left our luggage with the attendant. They said they would text us when our room was ready. They never did. After the first day of concert, we went back to the hotel to get officially checked in. This hotel has two buildings. It seems we got placed in the old building. Our room was clean. The bathroom was so small that there was no shower door or curtain because there was no room for that. The bathroom door was not even really a door it's more of a divider. I can see why other reviews spoke poorly of that "door". Luckily I am married and not shy about smells or noises from either of us, so it was fine. The hotel has a text concierge service. I ordered the chocolate "sushi" to our room. It was super cute and delicious. They actually gave us two orders, which I was confused by. It was supposed to be $25 (plus fees taxes and tip) and when I got my bill it was close to $75! I had to call several days later to see what happened. They did in fact charge us for both orders even though I had prof that I only ordered ONE. So I did end up getting a refund for the other one. The bed and linens were great. The towels were fine. The room itself was good- spacious had everything we needed. It had a limited view of the beach. The AC was adequate too. The best part about the bonvoy status was we could get breakfast vouchers. Most vouchers suck but these were great. We had a special menu with 4-5 items we could choose from plus coffee or a juice and it was complimentary. We went for breakfast at their Mexican restaurant each day and enjoyed. The hotel has some coffee and tea in the lobby in the morning. They also have a Starbucks on the outside of the other building. They gave us one free dessert and two complimentary beer or wine at any of their restaurants for my bonvoy status. We used it at the pool bar. Their key lime pie is fantastic! And we were able to have local beers. They have a skyway that takes you to the beach. They charge for chairs and umbrellas but it's nice to have that service. We went out there for a couple hours in the morning. I was grateful for the umbrella. The sun is fierce! The beach was recently cleaned of seaweed and had some shells. The water temperature was fantastic. The hotel has a decent sized gift shop if you forgot something. The Mexican restaurant does breakfast and dinner and is frequented by a lot of non hotel guests. It's really good. The pool area has guys that will give you towels in exchange for a towel card- so don't lose or forget to return your towels - they will charge you. Overall I'd say it was a nice hotel stay. We didn't prefer the way we got checked in. I was able to get us a late check out because of that experience. I mentioned it to the manager and said I would like to have a 2pm check out because my bonvoy status was not recognized and I did not get an early check in. They gave it to us. The perks - the beers, the dessert, the breakfast- were great. No executive lounge though. The location was ideal for what we wanted. We would stay there again but I would ask to have a room in the renovated part and not the old part.

1 Star - This Is Not a Luxury Resort…read more The biggest issue is that this resort markets itself as a luxury property. The moment you make that claim, you set a certain expectation--and unfortunately, this property falls far short. The resort feels dated and poorly maintained. The elevators were broken, and our first room had an air conditioner that leaked continuously, literally showering moisture toward the bed. It wasn't just inconvenient--it felt unsanitary. We were moved to another room around 11:30 p.m., only to walk into a puddle of water from the exact same issue. It was Fourth of July weekend, and the resort advertises beachfront views of the fireworks. That was incredibly misleading. To catch even a glimpse of the show, you practically had to lean over the balcony, twist to the far left, and strain to see tiny fireworks in the distance. If you're promoting a premium fireworks experience, this isn't it. Cleanliness was another major disappointment. The room was dusty, the window sills hadn't been cleaned, there was hair on the bathroom floor from a previous guest, and the exposed plumbing beneath the bathroom sink made the room feel unfinished and cheap. The service matched the property. The front desk associate lacked the professionalism and hospitality you'd expect from a luxury resort. After discovering the leaking air conditioner late at night, the initial response was to send maintenance to repair it rather than immediately relocating us. There was no meaningful service recovery, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, and certainly no effort to make things right. If this had been marketed as a budget hotel, I still would have been disappointed. But when you advertise yourself as a luxury resort, guests rightfully expect exceptional accommodations, impeccable cleanliness, attentive service, and an experience that matches the price. Westin, I genuinely hope you look into this property. It needs significant attention before it can honestly call itself a luxury resort.
