Upon arrival, I was very pleased to see that he has prepared the equipment and lighting, as well as brainstormed me on the backgrounds he brought for all the outfits I was planning to showcase. Gabriel first had me rehearse poses as he fine-tunes the lighting. This was the most integral part of the shoot. Once the lighting was set, then the pictures flow out naturally. Even though I booked a 90-minute session- the four different outfits I wanted to try on, as well as an outdoor scene (Mr. Ortiz's suggestion) took us nearly 2 hours. Gabriel managed them all, and I got all the scenarios shot to full satisfaction. Gabriel then followed up by showing me the raw results, where I picked almost two dozen for him to edit and polish. The final HD photos came within about a week. Every picture was to my satisfaction. In fact, when I put some of them on Photofeeler- I manage to get many to the top 10-5% of the entire site- A rather impressive feat! Gabriel is talented, hard-working, and dedicated to his art and his customers. I plan to do another shoot with Gabriel at the nearest opportunity, just because of how happy I am with his work. We were completely horrified, disgusted and disappointed that it took almost one year for us to receive our product. This took us completely by surprise because our engagement session went well and had received our photos in a timely manner. I would never recommend nor would we utilize their services again. Punctuality, Organization, and Customer service is not a top priority for Scky Art studios. 07/15/2016-In light of the owners response below..... it is evident that this business does not take any accountability for their actions. I was extremely generous in my previous review and was trying to refrain from exposing various facts. Let me add, that our contract was 4,300.00 and was signed on November of 2014 for our wedding on August 2015. By the time that we were at our last two payments of our contract AFTER the photos had already been taken, I was informed that there was "mistake" on the contract . That when the contract was finalized the taxes had been "miscalculated" (1 year later) which was over 700.00. At that point we felt forced to either pay the taxes or downgrade our package.Since it was AFTER the wedding and our budget had already met. We felt we had no choice but to downgrade All of the upgrades( for example: a bigger album and 2 parent albums) that we had paid for in advance (700.00) to keep our payments as negotiated; to make up the money for "taxes " as the owner would not budge on THEIR MISTAKE. My husband and I were completely understanding with certain situations that the owner was dealing with. For Example: she had been out for some time due to unforeseen circumstances (which put us back two months) , a complete turn over of essential staff and not to mention we have over 70 emails in regards to edits that were not "received" and or other issues addressed to SckyArt. This vendor was the ONLY one that we had issues with in providing us with our final product. Even AFTER we had agreed that we would forfeit all upgrades to make right a mistake that was made by the company ; My husband and I had to physically go down to the studio to get our photos. Evidently, We are writing this review to notify any bride or customer that SkyArt exhibits unfavorable business practices. Bottom line: 1. This company DID receive full payment by us 2. We received our pictures extremely LATE (May/ 2016) 3. This company had no regard for us as customers following the wedding and receiving our payment 4. This company changed our contract through no fault of our own For any couple or company that is considering this company for any wedding, or high scale prestigious event; Please ensure that you establish suspense dates on when you will have your previews; dates on when to expect completed edits; and dates on when you will receive the final products. So if they only deliver high res photos of clients who pay in full? how can that be accomplished when the contract is changed? Question is what is SckyArts liability on honoring their contract?

We chose to shoot in the South End to capture the beautiful brownstones and fall foliage, and the photos turned out even better than I imagined. Our situation was a bit tricky because we were working around a sleepy 6-month-old. Daniela kindly adjusted her schedule at the last minute so our baby could take a full nap beforehand, something any parent will appreciate! During the shoot, she gave us so much direction on how to stand, pose, and find the best lighting, which made the entire experience effortless and enjoyable. What I DID know was the photographs for the big day were my top priority. When I selected my photographer, I did several phone, skype, and FaceTime interviews as I was an out-of-town bride, living in Chicago and getting married in my home state of NJ. Seperate from the obvious - Tav's photos being the most impressive and dynamic/captivating, he was also, far and away, the best communicator which I SO appreciated as a neurotic, detail-oriented person. He was clear and up-front about the time frame I should give myself before, during, and after both the ceremony and reception. He had several extremely reasonable packages to choose from, allowing me to subtract something due to my out-of-town circumstances. He e-mailed me far in advance to get the names/lists of the VIPs that would be photographed that day (outside of my groom and I of course).
